I used to visit their store on a weekly basis in Greenwich, CT but that location closed many years ago. I have ordered from this store via the internet a couple of times and I have never been disappointed. The Champgane Truffles are the best I have ever had. They explode with flavor when you bite into them and you get the perfect balance of chocolate and champagne.

Long ago, we had a Bernard C Chocolate shop at the Somerset Collection. When you do a taste test between Bernard C and Godiva, you quickly realize how much you missed in the important moments of your life (wedding favors, Valentine gifts, corporate gifts) that should have been celebrated with Bernard C!

Roommate is in LOVE with these chocolates and I definitely see why. Soft, velvety chocolate and exceptional service! They also do gourmet ice cream sandwiches! It’s a small shop and hours are sometimes optional (one day they closed 20 minutes early). Lovely!

This place has amazing chocolates.
My father LOVES chocolate covered cherries, and I bought him a package from this store the last time I came back home for a visit. That gift rocketed me from 4^th to 1^st on the «who’s my favorite kid today» list.
I brought my Dad back to the store during my parents visit to Portland, and I’ll be damned if the chocolate we purchased wasn’t gone before we got back in the car.
The service is great here. The chocolates are obviously very good, and I have enjoyed everything I have purchased here. This is a great place for gifts and they have more then just boxed chocolate and truffles in the shop. They have amazing chocolate for baking, hot cocoa mixes, and chocolate bars.
I keep sending subliminal messages to my boss that this place would be great for department Christmas gifts. We will see if the box I left on his desk that said «buy these for us» will be easily understood.
I just wish it was a little cheaper.
