Worst service I have ever experienced from a furniture store. It took them SIXMONTHS to deliver our furniture. Will never use them again. Save the headache and go somewhere else.

12 weeks for most items is awful and absurd prices, 4,200 for a sofa made in China?! This place was far better in the 70s and 80s, some items now look like Walmart and Kmart furniture for 10x the cost!

My husband and I recently purchased a sofa at this store location. We were properly assisted and the designer deftly guided us in our ultimate selection. We called the designer upon our return from a vacation that overlapped the delivery date. She explained the truck only went to our city 2x a month and promised our sofa would be delivered the first week of June. Long, frustrating story short, it nearly required an act of congress to obtain my sofa the week it had been promised me. I found the customer service absolutely lacking. Everyone was so indifferent in their communication. «What’s two more weeks? We don’t care.» That is the attitude they exuded. Customers pay a premium price for furniture at this store. I expect premium service. I’m not a princess, if I’d shopped at MOR or Lazy Boy I’d gauge my expectations accordingly. Ethan Allen should have bent over backward to follow thru on a promise made to their customer. Any insistence that they do so was met with disengaged malaise and reluctant capitulation. I will give Parker Furniture my business in the future. Maybe they can deliver excellent customer service along with an excellent product.

We have a $ 300 Hunter Douglas Blind that broke(defective) and is on a Lifetime Warranty(repair or replace at no charge). Ethan Allen is one of their distributors/dealers and said they would do the warranty work. Upon picking up the blind from Ethan Allens service center, they wanted a $ 55 charge for the repair. They refuse to honor the warranty. For 3 weeks they argued with us that the lifetime warranty was only good for 7 years, we produced a copy of our warranty, showing no 7 year limits on the LIFETIME warranty, then they change their story to that it falls under normal wear and tear. Then they said since the blind was 12 years old, any kind of problem with it would be considered normal wear and tear. So what is the point of a Lifetime warranty? They kept trying to pass the buck… telling us to talk to Hunter Douglas, then Hunter Douglas tells you to work it out with them as they have your blind. They were so unprofessional… the service center Jim Robinson and even the General Manager Joel Masters. This is the worst customer service I have ever received! Joel Masters even went as far as threatening to return the blind to us by reversing the repair and putting it into the original broken condition that we brought it to them to fix. I will never purchase anything from this company, buyer beware, especially when they tell you it has a lifetime warranty.

Ordered the Dexter Bed from Ethan Allen and while they promised 8 –12 weeks, we ordered in August and still have no bed — we won’t get it till Thanksgiving, which is a 16 week long wait for a stock item! Other than an apology they didn’t do anything to try and keep our business. They’ve lost a customer for life!

Grammy needed a new couch and she only buys her furniture from Ethan Allen. So there we went a week ago to look at couches. They have a very nice selection, older styles and newer modern ones. And I was impressed by their fabric selections, so many! The lady that helped us was very professional and patient. She will go to my grandparents place to make sure everything blends in nicely.
