Pretty awesome idea for pizza I have to say. It’s like a subway but for pizza. Quick pizza, cooked in a fire oven with all the toppings you’d like and giving you the option to get as crazy as you’d like. I went in on a week night and the line was LONG. Although they move you through really quickly. The people working there are friendly and seem to try to make a personal connection with each person in line like«how are you doing». I thought that was awesome. The décor is cute, very chill. Tons of high school kids I really don’t recommend coming here with a plan of having any real conversation with the person you’re with, it’s loud inside. Very fast food like. Good place to come if you’re starving for pizza but don’t want to splurge on a full size one.

I enjoy the wide variety of options and combinations you can make. Fast and thrifty. My only complaint is that the plastic silverware is worthless on the pizza. The last 2 – 3 times dining here, the plastic fork will break with a little force at the stem… It’s also sharp so be careful. In addition the plastic knife will melt on a hot pizza. I’m surprised this hasn’t been addressed. That said, pizza is good.

Great quick fast fresh food, with a yummy gluten free option. It’s difficult to find fast food with gluten free options that are in tasty. Mod Pizza fits the bill for inviting atmosphere, plenty of options including dairy free cheese(yes, there really is such a thing!). Coupled with a mini salad, it was a filling meal.

I was at mod earlier this afternoon with my brother for the first time, and was very impressed. I got a number 7, the tomato basil pizza and it was so good on the thin and crispy crust. The atmosphere was very comfortable and the crew seemed to enjoy their job and was nice enough to explain to me how to order and how everything works. Will definitely be back!

Update: Maybe I had a bad one-time lunchtime experience. However, MOD does a true thin crust, which is really good and is super family friendly. Love that crunchy crust which is hard to find. I’ll definitely be back. — — — Don’t order a large salad as it’s about 10% more than a small – order the small. Special orders, such as garbanzo beans, will require you to take your salad back and ask for them. Watch as a handful is tossed on. Pizzas are ok. The crust is nice and thin as a good pizza should be. Just realize Mod is the Subway of pizza joints and the«cooks» are in auto mode.

Second time they messed my order up when I call ahead or ordered online… when to say something and was made to feel stupid by asking and by feeling put out. Here I am watching all these people get their pizza’s while I wait for one I ordered over 40 minutes ago. Where is the customer service here? Lost I guess. I was told to deal with it and it happens with no resolution.

To start, it was my first time ordering and the young man was very rude to me(ended up being the manager). I asked how everything worked out and he basically told me to pick between the two sizes and move along. After I ordered my pizza and went through the line, the cashier rang me up for 2 pizzas instead of one. The manager came and ended up giving me a refund but seemed very irritated at me and the employee. After all of that, my pizza apparently burnt in the oven and they had to remake it. A guy with a blue hat then came and apologized for the long wait and offered me a milkshake and a free pizza. He was way nicer then the manager and even brought our pizzas to the table. To end, the pizza was defiantly not worth the $ 8 I paid, and I wont be coming back to this mod location. Gave 2 stars because the guy at the end was at least nice and I enjoyed the milkshake. Recommendation: If you enjoy mod then I suggest going to a different location. There are so many to choose from around the area that are way better(Sherwood).

I get that mod pizza tries to hire hip young cool people, but what they ended up with in Lake Oswego is rude and inefficient people, actually, honestly not sure how the young man was able to walk that served me, with his belt literally almost to his knees… pizza came out burnt, manager very unconcerned, I will stick to Cedar Hills mod if I do mod pizza again

Great place for a quick bit to eat. I’ve never been here before but basically you can create your own pizza or pick from the menu and add or subtract with no additional charge. Thin crust, crispy but not burnt.

This place is great, I built my own Pizza and it was delicious. The staff are young but all of them work really hard. They are all polite and chatty while working away. I would reccommend, good stuff.

I have been going there since it opened at this location and have always loved the food and the customer service. but what made me write a review today was because of their exceptional customer service. long story short pizza got switched when a customer took the wrong pizza, they gladly rushed me a new pizza and personally came over and asked us if there was anything else they could do and really made an effort to make sure we left satisfied. what made me appreciate it was I could tell they were so genuine and truly cared about the customers. well done to this MOD location, I will always be coming back and have spread the word about their amazing pizzas(good prices) and their amazing staff that has always done beyond what is expected!

I love MOD pizza! The staff never hassles me about the extras I request. I love the price… even gluten-free is reasonable. And their GF crust is pretty darn good. I have had lunch delivered for an office meeting and eaten in-house; I will advise in-house is better than delivery if you’re picky like me and want a certain amount of topping. But give this place a shot– delicious

A fun family friendly environment. Good make-your-own pizza is great for family with kids! Fast service. They can be a little skimpy on toppings at this location so make sure they put enough on! Have Gluten-free crust! Recommend.

To start, let me say that ordering online in advance was a breeze. Five co-workers and I got individual pizzas and a salad to-go for an office celebration, excited to try«the new place» that opened a couple of months back in Kruse Village. We liked the concept of individual, reasonably priced pizzas, which fit the different tastes and lunchtime budgets of multiple people. The food was ready when I arrived to pick it up but it was unclear where to go, and I ended up standing in 2 different lines before finding the guy that *sort of* knew about my order. Fortunately I had the online confirmation page and realized before leaving that they had forgotten to include my boss’ salad. While I was waiting for the person who knew about the salad to retrieve it from the back room, another customer next to me was returning the pizza he’d just picked up, because he’d ordered tomatoes and had received plain cheese. After the salad was located and I was heading out, I noticed that the pizza boxes were unmarked; I asked how to determine which was which, and was told to open each one and look at the number that was checked on the paper liner under the pie. That was not entirely helpful, since nobody recalled what number they had chosen; we had to pull up the online again menu back at the office and read the descriptions to figure out whose was whose. I ordered a Jasper(mozzarella, mushrooms, spicy Italian sausage and red sauce). My pizza was flavorful but extremely sparse on toppings, dry, and poorly constructed. The crust was chewy and had a nice texture, however there was almost no sauce. It was cut into quarters, and one of my four slices only had a swipe of tomato sauce, 5 tiny bits of mushroom, no sausage and less than an inch of cheese, all in the corner. So, ¾ of my slice of pizza was just red-tinted crust. It was ultimately pretty disappointing. My co-workers all ordered different pies, and their comments ranged from«dry» to «it was okay» and«I probably wouldn’t order from there again.»

Fun, tasty place for fresh pizza. Think Subway, but you design your own pizza. Also, more choices for ingredients that seem fresher. Also, staff here are really competent & helpful. Good place for families.

A coworker and I decided to munch some lunch today at the newly-opened Mod pizza in Kruse Village. The service here is impossibly slow. They are situated in the middle of a massive collection of business parks and the vast majority of their customers will be peeps like me, meaning on a lunch break with a time limit. We took our places around 11:30 am, just before the real lunch rush, and waited about 10 minutes to arrive at the start of the Subway-like ordering line. The ordering process took about 5 minutes, and we waited an additional 15 minutes for the pizzas to cook up. For those of you with sub-par math skills, that’s 30 minutes before we could sink our teeth into some cheese. Ouch. The semi-saving grace here is that the pizza was tastier than I thought it was going to be. The crust is solid, super thin and crunchy from the oven. The red sauce was meh, overall bland and uninspiring. The chicken and veggies I added to my pie were acceptably fresh and flavorful – no fireworks but definitely edible. The vibe here is a bit ridiculous in it’s attempt to appear cool. The employees wear shirts that could easily be mistaken for graphic tees from any suburban mall store. The walls have stylized font statements and lit up «vintage» tin arrows. Couple that with a menu that reads like the roll call at an über hip preschool(Tristan, Lucy, Jasper, and Dillon James) and you get the complete picture. The verdict? Unless I get a hankering for a milkshake, I probably won’t be back for a round two.

Horribly slow service. It always looked busy so we wanted to try. Went in on a Sunday afternoon, short line but still took several minutes to get the two customers in front of us processed. Decided to give up and leave. I guess that long line that we always saw was not because it’s good, just because it’s really slow.

Fast, friendly and extremely good price for a freshly made pie! We were happily surprised to see that every pizza and entrée salad was the same price no matter what you wanted on it! Under 7.50 for a personally made pie? That’s perfect! We got the Calexico pizza which has gorgonzola cheese, chicken, buffalo sauce and jalapeños and a giant salad with artichokes, olives and chicken. Again, only 7.45 for each thing so we didn’t break the bank! You add the fact that they have house made teas and lemonades, and you have the perfect place to grab a quick and delicious bite! We will definitely return for many meals this upcoming summer!

Been hearing about this place for some time finally got to try it on friends and family night. Awesome! It totally lives up to the hype. You can’t compare I tot the higher end pizza restaurants but compared to other custom order quick pizza shops such as pizzasmith or pieology it definitely stands out. Tried the Dillon James but by the time I was done it wasn’t a Dillon James anymore. I added too much stuff. Fantastic. Light crunchy but not hard crust. My girl loved her mini with white sauce and cheese. Was so good she asked for another. My boy had classic pepperoni. A slight warning. Don’t get a pizza without sauce. My wife tried a cheese less pizza and only put on olive oil and garlic rub as the base. It makes the crust dry and hard not their fault. The milkshakes were so thick the kids could barely suck it out. Tried chocolate, strawberry, and blueberry cheesecake. All pretty good. Marionberry lemonade is good. I like my lemonade a little more tart but still good. The service was awesome! Very friendly and helpful. Got a family vibe. Will definitely be back. My only concern with the location is that there might not be enough parking for all the customers once all the stores open. Kind of like the? enterpointe plaza(Chiptole, Oswego Grill, Potbelly). Also only a few entrances into the plaza, getting in and out might be a hassle…
