I have been a customer of Home Depots for over 30 years and have used them to build or rebuild 4 homes. I purchased a older home and I’am in the process of re doing the kitchen and bath. Once again using Home Depot. I used their kitchen design professionals. I will say I’am very pleased with the staff and my cabinets are great. I’am waiting on my counter tops, which I paid for including installation in the beginning. I decided to upgrade counter tops at the cost of $ 16.50 more a square ft. And added back splash. I knew what the extra cost would be. When it came time for the order the price wasn’t the $ 600 more I expected it was $ 1200 more. The young lady who worked up the est. saw the mistake. They where charging me for what they call wasted material??? Being it is a man made solid colored material. Their should be no waste. I was told and Hone Depot proudly says that the customer doesn’t pay for waste. Well unknown to staff and local managers. That isn’t the truth. So in the end I was requested to pay and extra $ 800 plus dollars. I refused and had to settle for the lesser material, because they made a mistake. So I recommend if doing this project don’t get your hopes up on getting what you want but instead understand you might have to pay a lot more or settle for less. My suggestion shop around for your counter top.

This store was great. Staff was extremely helpful and polite. Carts in store so you don’t have to walk outside to get some carts. Lumber area was really clean. Found everything I came in for. There was help available to help me load my truck.

I’m extremely happy in this store, as compared with the same kind of store, down the street named LOWES. Let me explain the differences. When I walk into Home Depot and I start wandering around looking for things, no less than 4 or 5 people ask me if I’m okay and need help finding anything. Usually that could get annoying in any other store, right? But here, they only ask if you have that ‘PUZZLED’ look on your face. I get that often when I squint to see the signs labeling every row as to what is in that particular row. (Imagine me in a Palm Beach cap, hair tucked in, geek Chanel glasses, no make-up, squinting and talking to myself). For those who really know me, I look like this every day lately. At least for the last 37 days that is, while working on this home design project show. It’s up to me to go pick up the Spackle, the Fast set for the Tile, the tile itself, the sponges, the grout, the paint, the EVERYTHING. I’m the project manager’s first assistant and sometimes the AD, Host, Doer and Shower of the product sponsoring this project. It’s all on the hush hush for now, but It’s time to give Home Depot some major KUDOS. There is always a register open and ready to check you out fast.(enough said) They offer to help you carry those 60LB bags of white sand fast set to your car, truck or show van. I decline and tell them that I need my squat and quad work-out anyway. They always get a kick out of that. Every person working in this store knows where EVERYTHING is. Go ahead and go in sometime. Ask for something weird and random and they will tell you exactly where it is. In HOMEDEPOT they not only tell you where it is, they bring you directly over there and guide you along that way. Lowes could use some major tips in all of these departments. I could go on, but this is not a review about Lowes. It’s all about HOMEDEPOT. Oh, and their bathrooms are very clean. :)

Worked with Rich to design custom kitchen with Decora cabinets. Great prices, great selection of custom trim, specialty items, etc. The installation was completed through them as well. Jim the installer was a true craftsman — what attention to detail. The kitchen is now a show piece thanks to Rich and Jim. If you are considering a quality product — this is the place to go!

We rented a truck from here to transport my dad’s Christmas present. It was really convenient for a short road trip and the price was pretty cheap — $ 20 for 75 minutes, $ 10 for an additional 60 minutes. Unfortunately the customer service was pretty bad. The service was unfriendly, slow and incompetent. We even spoke with the manager regarding the gas we put in the truck. We drove no more than 40 miles(more likely less than 35 miles), and ended up putting in over 5 gallons of gas in. You can not seriously tell me that your truck gets 8 miles per gallon!!! The manager was less than helpful, although at least he was not rude. The lady helping us with our paperwork was rude. When I brought it to her attention that the paperwork she gave me was not ours(name of Vincent on the paperwork, and my sister and I — a female, do not really look like Vincents), she grumbled about how everyone had to get home already. It was 8:45pm; they close at 9:00pm. Sorry, there’s 15 more minutes here. :p
