Fantastic hotel conveniently located in Lake Placid. Plenty of restaurants and shops within a short walking distance.
Splurge for a room overlooking Mirror Lake. You will not be disappointed! Staff is courteous and happy to assist with any questions. Free breakfast provided in the morning.

Stayed here in early June with my GF for a day trip before the summer season started. The hotel is very nicely done with a good energy and nicely done touches from the ADK region. Check in was quick and smooth and the FD agent was attentive & cordial. A+++ as i work in a hotel myself. The room was spacious and the balcony overlooking Mirror lake was fantastic. Next door is the Lake Placid pub & brewery which is busy in the evenings with an outdoor speaker playing music — that could get annoying if youre on that side of the building but hey, that view you get is worth it (note that you cant hear the music with the windows/​balcony door closed).
Overall we had a great time in Lake Placid and the Hampton inn was just perfect on all levels including the Breakfast and service. The property is a mere steps away from Main st.

The stay was overall very good. We were greeted as we entered and were called by the front desk 15 min after we checked in asking if there was anything we needed and were very quick to bring up extra shampoo and conditioner. Me and my gf loved everything about this hotel and will be staying here again in the future as my family lives in lake placid.

The place is brand new great amenities and toiletries! Clean great service and location. Definitely worth the price during the week. Be back next summer

Great location, I have been to Lake Placid many, many times and never been to this part. The hotel has ample parking, a huge bonus in this small village and a great location right across the street from Mirror Lake. It is Adirondack a bit in décor but the rooms are very standard Hampton but that is fine because the quality is reliable. The front staff, cleaners, breakfast staff etc are all extremely friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast area is large and overlooks the lake through huge windows. I have never been to a Hampton where there was enough seating for all the guests at breakfast but not an issue here. And they bring a cart around with coffee, tea and hot water to your tables.
It is walking distance to the village along a nice brick path that follows the lake for a short distance. If you walk the other way it is a nice stroll around the lake. The beach is also right across the street. We didn’t go as the weather wasn’t the greatest but it looked clean and nice.
The best part was the patio with lots of chairs, tables and a huge gas fire pit. We didn’t get to enjoy that as other groups had settled in but instead took a bottle of wine to the Adirondack fairs and relaxed until late evening.
Great value, great location, wonderful staff.

Was overcharged $ 200 by an incompetent staff member and 4 days later still waiting for it to be reversed. Called the corporate office and found out that they paid for another customers’ room with my credit card! Will NEVER go back!

Classy, wooden décor makes you feel as if you are in a ski lodge in Vermont. I enjoy the view of the mountains as you sit in the lobby/​dining area and enjoy a hot beverage courtesy of the hotel. Beautiful wooden paneling and soft lighting surrounds the area. There are newspapers to peruse and television (a.k.a Monster Jam and football and cartoons in the morning for kids).
As you enter the lobby, there is a business center complete with phone, printer, school supplies, and also meeting rooms to the left. On the right, there is a pool, a spa, & an exercise gym with elliptical and treadmill. I especially like the warm fireplace near the dining area is a great touch!
There is complimentary breakfast with yogurt, fresh fruit including blueberries, pineapples, cantalopes, melon, etc. There is unlimited tea, coffee, decaf, etc. I love my room, since it is capacious and has a nice king sized bed! I see multiple fresh towels, hand clothes, and floor mats. I like that there is coffee and tea, an option to use an iron & ironing board, hair dryer, shampoo/​conditioner other amenities like make up remover sheet. Things are absolutely clean and are immaculate. The front area staff is really friendly and nice as well! I definitely would come back and highly recommend it to others.
