Great service and a great family restaurant. They have a huge menu with huge servings. The waitress was super nice and always checked up on us. The pizza is to die for.

My family has dined here 3 times in 2 years living in Lake Stevens. In the first 2 visits, I(not the wife & kids) was impressed by the Monday happy hour $ 6 wood fire pizza along with the discounted beer. However, the service was always too slow for the volume of customers. Our 3rd, and possibly final experience, was on a Tuesday where kids eat free. As the saying goes, «you get what you pay for». Kid’s spaghetti was barely room temp and took 25 minutes. My wife and I ordered pasta dishes which arrived 10 minutes later. Each was extremely simplistic and lacked flavor. Bruschetta was nothing more than non-grilled bread topped with olive oil, soggy diced tomatoes and basil. In addition, having to sign my slip in front of the server is always uncomfortable, especially when service is this bad. It’s a shame Lake Stevens doesn’t have more descent restaurants.

Terrible food. Terrible service. We were the only ones In the place and our food took forever. The waitress was talking to the other waitress the whole time. Loudly gossiping.

Oh-Em-Gee … the Shroom Pizza is AMAZING! We loved the thin, crispy crust! Service was friendly and fast. Next time(soon, I hope!) we’ll go for pizza again and try a couple other varieties WITH another Shroom pie too! We had pasta dishes for dinner with salads, but the pizza out-shined the noodles. Their balsamic reduction salad dressing was VERY tastey — I’ll be getting another salad JUST to have the dressing again! FIVESTARYUM for Bruno’s!(We liked Luca’s too!)

Been coming here since it was Lucas. My boyfriend took me here for our first date. We’re were sad to hear it was no longer Lucas but were happy to hear it was still very similar. Our food was amazing. The service was slow but great!!! Our server was super sweet. I will say the Italian sodas are never good here. Not enough syrup or flavor. Other than that we will continue to go here.

This was out second time here since it became Bruno’s. We had the garlic chicken pesto pizza and loved it. Decent selection of good micro brews and also have growler fills. We will definitely be back again. Looking forward to the smoked salmon pizza coming back again loved that the first time.

Never been dissapointed with this place. We’ve been coming here ever since they were Luca’s. This time, we ordered the Combo Pizza, but added Spicy Sausage to the pizza… it is Awesome. We also had the Artichoke & Spinach Dip… yummy. The Pastas here are really good too.

After weight loss surgery, I can no longer imbibe in thick crust pizza and when I get a craving, Bruno’s hits the spot. The crust is crispy and the sauce is absolutely amazing! It has that amazing earthy, aromatic, umami flavor! Yum! Can’t beat the $ 20 for $ 10 deal on Amazon Local either! Will be going back again and again!

It’s great to finally have a place in where I can go in Lake Stevens, and have truly excellent pizza. First of all they use cherry wood to fire up their wood-fire oven. The crust is light, and full of flavor. They only use the best flour, and ingredients for their pizzas. The sausage they buy is super tasty. The combo pizza is my favorite. The pizza is good for 2 – 3 adults, more if you share with my favorite, the antipasto salad. I highly recommend all the salads too. There is not one that i have tried and not liked. All the dressings are home made, and have great flavor. Service is super friendly, and warm. If you are looking for a solid scrumptious meal this is the place to go. When you bring your kids on Tuesday they get a free meal.

The place is well kept and clean. I’ll give it that. The music is a non-paid for pandora account that randomly stops. The salad was great and fresh, but the food! — Oh man I wish I could say good things but the food is soooooo bland. At least the pasta(Alfredo) and Artichoke/Spinach Dip. Salt couldn’t even rescue it. I will say the service was fantastic and our server did a wonderful job. I will be back to try the pizza, but so far I can’t say I’m impressed. Sorry I can’t recommend!

Best pizza we have had since moving to the area. We had The Bruno which was amazing. We also had bruschetta which was pretty good. Their draft beer selection is great, a lot of local craft beer.

This place is now called Bruno’s Wood Fired Pizza & Alehouse. We went for lunch today. The Viking pizza(a white sauce with chicken and bacon) was good! Nice crust, plenty of cheese and great flavor. The clam chowder was good(although mostly potato). The sandwiches were not so great. They were hard to eat, partly because the bread was so hard. And the insides were not much to boast about. I think the meatball sandwich had the equivalent of one meatball in it(sliced up). I will be back here for more pizza and to try the pasta, but will definitely steer clear of the sandwiches. Service was good.

I was so excited to find a little adorable pizzeria less than a mile from my house. My husband and I came in on a quiet Saturday afternoon and were delighted by the smell of the place! It also seemed clean enough and cozy. Plus I liked that you can watch the cook make the pizza in front of you. It was all downhill from there. There were 2 tables there when we sat down, and it took 5 minutes to get menus, and more than ten minutes to have our order taken. A beer list had to be requested(strange since it’s an ale house!) and she hurried away from the table with my husband’s drink order and never looked at me nor asked if I would like anything. When she finally came back on the floor my husband waved her over which she rolled her eyes about. We waited for 40 minutes for our food. During that time we were never once asked about refills on our drinks or if we wanted more bread. When the pizza finally came it was the most strangely misshapen pizza, not round not square and cut with the tiniest pieces next to extremely large pieces. The taste was alright, but make anyone wait 40 minutes and they’ll enjoy what you put in front of them. Overall: terrible service, decent food, long long long wait times.

Very good pizzas and Italian dishes. The new owners are putting their heart in the restaurant, took them a while to get started, but now it is great. service is great too, they remember the wine I like every time!

I was hoping that this place would be great. Its close to home and italian, so when I brought my daughter here on a sunny summer afternoon I was pretty hopeful. Unfortunately, my hopes were dashed. There was one other couple of girls eating and when we walked in we still ended up waiting to be served. We were seated in a booth and then… ignored. Thankfully my daughter is an excellent conversationalist so the time passed fairly well. When the waitress did come by, my daughter asked a question about an limonetta because neither of us knew what it was, well neither did our waitress. She had to go to the table of people(who apparently were employees) to ask what it was. Turns out it’s a can of carbonated lemon line soda. So I ordered a mojito off the menu and my daughter had an italian soda. The italian soda was a mess and really not even close to what an italian soda is and my mojito? Nasty. The waitress/bartender/greeter was pretty clueless, she must have asked that table of people 3 different times for various things throughout our order. We both ordered a half of panini and chicken soup, both were meh. I had a coupon(from Unilocal!) and naturally the waitress couldn’t figure out how to use it so she had to go to the people at the table again and then she came over and even with my $ 20 off the bill was $ 26 dollars. Wait what, two half of sandwiches and two soups plus an unpalatable cocktail and a messy soda was $ 46 dollars? Oh no, she did it wrong so she refunded my $ 26 and the bill ended being 6 dollars after my coupon. I would like to believe it was just an off day, but I won’t be back to find out.

The stuffed cheese bread was amazing quite possibly the best cheese bread I have had. But the cannoli stole the show it is hand made from start to finish… Amazing.

Good Italian food but terrible happy hour. My wife and I went for lunch and we were one of two tables. Sat outside on a beautiful summer day. We had the spinach artichoke dip which was paired with tasty warm pita bread. We ordered a four cheese pesto pizza which was pretty greasy(possibly because of all the cheeses) but the crust was great. All in all the food was 3 to 4 stars. The BIGGEST thing that killed me about my visit to the reopened Lucas was the happy hour. The waitress went on to boast about how it was from 1 to 6 but the only discounts were 50 cents off 5 dollar beers and 2 dollars off of 10 dollar appetizers with no cocktails at all. I may go back after they are more established and have had time to change up their happy hour.

I saw the advertisement that Luca’s was re-opening! Whoo hoo! I thought I’d better give it a try. New owners, almost all new staff, and a coat of fresh paint. Everyone was very friendly, the service was excellent and it felt surprisingly well organized for a new restaurant with a full house of patrons. Nice job crew! As for the beer, I was excited to see the Sweet As on tap… but…it was… flat. That sucks. You’d think the keg would be fresh since they just opened but that’s probably not their fault. I’ll blame it on the distributor. As for the pizza? Same wood-fired oven? Check. Burning nice and hot around 550? Check. So, I ordered the Margherita. How could something so simple go wrong? The sauce was a little too sweet, but not bad. Mozza was good and plentiful. Generous amounts of fresh basil. Promising… …and then there was the crust. It was just so… wrong…so very… wrong. Dead, lifeless, flavorless, it tasted like gluten-free. Seriously, crust is all about gluten, this had nothing. So disappointing. To add insult to injury, they’re charging $ 2 more for it. Seriously? I can name at least five pizza joints in Seattle with better pies of similar size for about HALF the price. This is Lake Stevens for god’s sake not San Francisco! I may give ‘em a few months(if they last that long) to work it out and give it one more try… because it would be really nice to have a decent local pie joint. Perhaps they can hunt down Alex and beg him to come rescue their pizza? (Seriously guys, not joking, just drive around town and look for a super tall lanky guy with long hair and a bushy beard cruising around on a longboard and offer him whatever he wants to come save your pizza crust.)

The restaurant has just reopened under a new name and owners after closing a few months ago. We had 6 people in our group and ordered a bunch of dishes between us. We found the pizza to be really good, especially with the pesto base. The breakfast pizza was also delicious. The lasagna was the special of the evening and it was also amazing, cheesy and crunchy. The bread used in sandwiches was odd. It looks like they went for whole wheat which I think is an odd choices for an Italian restaurant. Overall it was pretty good but in the words of my husband«pick [your dinner] wisely.»
