The ONLY reason this place gets two stars is that the employees were very friendly, the place looked clean and it had a good atmosphere. We ordered the Sicilian and the sauce was very watery and had no flavor. The crust was okay but a little burned. There weren’t very many toppings on the pizza either. Maybe it was a fluke but I will probably not go there again.

its ok but nothing to brag about. Pizza is thin, lack luster toppings, taste is bland. Nice location and sometimes a variety. Its not a true NY pizza, kind of a wanna be. Piecoras was amazing :(this will have to do for the meantime until i find better.

Eat here all the time. Sometimes tough to get the slice you want up to an hour before closing, bc they’ll stop making pizza and just sell what they have left. Really like all the slices, as do our kids!

Can’t recommend anymore as the quality of the pies have gone down a notch and the prices have gone up. The median price of a slice of cheese pie in NYC is at $ 2.44, BBP used to be $ 2.49. Now BBP is up to $ 2.99 and it’s hit or miss. Can’t pay more for less. Thanks for the memories…

Being from Brooklyn, the food is here is good… I was a big fan Piecoras in Seattle, but they have closed… the calzone could be filled MORE, and offer more topping too add inside. I prefer Ham… tiramisu is a big seller I saw as well…

All I can say is WOW! This is the best pizza I have ever had(truly, no exaggeration). Thin, cheesy goodness. I usually get plain cheese and it”s fantastic. It also heats up very well! The only downside is that it’s a little on the pricey side if you ask me. The atmosphere of this restaurant is very authentic and the staff is great as well. Overall, A+++++.

A little disappointing. Very filling. The old time music was annoying. Like a WW2 movie soundtrack. Thats not NY to me. Its old hollywood. When i first moved here that old producer had a show of old movies on channel 13… Sidney Lumet? Reminded me of him. The pepperoni was really good. Neither as salty nor as fatty as typical west coast pepperoni pizza. The cheese was worthy. The sausage was thinner and less tasty than what id hoped for. The ‘smokey’ crust was a little more charred rhan i like. The beer wasnt very cold. I was looking foward to the canolli but id lost my enthusiasm before my 2nd piece of pizza, so I skipped i. If I have a craving while nearby I might come back to try it but…

Came and grabbed some slices and beers for lunch on a weekend out and about shopping. It’s located right in downtown next to the arena. The space is large and the main space was open for lunch on this particular day. Not at all busy and plenty of tables. I’ve had this pizza from other locations before so I knew it would be good. Getting pizza by the slice or a whole pie are both great options. You can go with their pre made pies or create your own. Good spot for some good pizza.

My family was starving and driving home from a weekend in winthrop to Seattle. I knew my little ones would not survive getting all the way to seattle without eating. I found this place through Unilocal and it did not disappoint. The pizza is really delicious. They have really nice options for toppings(no pineapple, wahoo!). We had a lovely experience here. the service was perfectly acceptable.

10 year old grandson likes this place. so I stopped in for a pie to go on a Thursday about 2:15PM… Large pepperoni & ½ with sausage over $ 25. before tip, staff was friendly and the wait was not long… Pizza was a little burnt on the bottom, but not a whole lot of flavor… I doubt we will go back…

4 words: CAN’T STOPTHEBRO’S. Purchase by the slice or an entire pie. Exciting city-like vibe, good price, overall solid experience. Some friends and I frequent this spot; this is our go-to rendezvous point when we are wanting to hang out. Not only for the ‘za, but something about being there just makes you feel so much cooler. Like an Italian mobster in a sweet pair of Nike’s. If you’re into sports, go watch some hockey at Xfinity arena across the street after a slice of Bowery. Guitars? Tommy’s guitar shop is a great post-slice pitstop. Really, if you value a solid time with great grub, go here.

An excellent place, we arrived shortly before 5 pm on a Monday. We were met by some of the friendliest staff I have ever come across. They didn’t hesitate to offer up the history of the place as well as the rundown of the menu. The gentleman who created our delectable pie even went as far as to come out and introduce himself and spend sometime with us. All in all a wonderful experience to end an extraordinary weekend. I would recommend this to all. If not a whole pie, grab a slice and have a good time. We Did! Don’t forget to sign the wall.

While the pizza was pretty much amazing when we got it, the service only deserves three stars. We expected having to wait a while for a hand tossed, made to order pizza, especially on a Friday night. That is why we ordered slices for the kids while we waited for our full pizza and salad. She asked if the slices were for the kids and if we wanted them«cubed up» for the kids, which was a great, helpful touch. 50 minutes(after ordering) later, we were preparing to ask if we could have our salad even though we were still waiting on pizza. That is when I noticed the people in line before us, a table that also ordered a whole pizza, were walking out the door. And when I saw a couple receive their whole pizza when they had ordered not ten minutes before. Turns out, our order was mixed up with a to-go order because their system gets confused with names and table numbers. They had given us a number for our table but were walking around calling«Jenny.» As my husbands name is Jason and mine is Cassandra, and as they never asked nor did we offer our names, we did not claim this pizza. At this point, when the runner returns to the kitchen with an unclaimed pizza, you would think the(very nice) girl at the register might try to figure out this puzzle. Maybe she would notice the mom of increasingly frustrated toddler twins returning to the counter for things to keep her kids quiet and distracted for the sake of other patrons; I did speak to her twice between ordering and asking for our food to go. Instead, we waited. There are signs at the counter that say they’ll charge you $ 5 for whining and that, «it’s not fast food» so shut up and wait. It is a décor aesthetic, I’m aware, but it does not encourage a patron new to the establishment to ask questions. The(still nice) girl at the counter made no attempts to remedy the situation. Reading other reviews, perhaps she does not have the power. She did, however, inform us that the manager was«out on a delivery.» I will add that I did not do the questioning. I did not complain or whine; I shut up and waited. My husband did all the talking and he is a very(read: too) nice person. Perhaps unfortunately, for my mood at least, the pizza was very good. The ricotta and house made fennel sausage were wonderfully paired.

We’re hurting for good pizza in WA. I think that the majority of the problem comes from the quality of the crust. I’ve been to NY and Chicago and many east coast places and the average quality is so much higher. I’m told it might have something to do with the water used to make the dough but I’m not a baker and I love the tap water in my house so I can’t speak to that. If you’re looking for something that approaches that level of quality, this is one of your better options. The perfect crust is simultaneously crispy and chewy. Depending on your toppings, that is a possibility. It is a little soggy if you order pepperoni or something else that’s greasy but it tastes great. Their Margherita pizza is one of the best I’ve had in WA. Their cheesy bread sticks and the dipping sauce that comes with it are cracktacular. I will buy the bread sticks just so I can dip my pizza in the sauce and they give you all the sauce refills you want which I really appreciate. They also make their own sausage and I love their pepperoni. If you like ham/Canadian bacon on your pizza, they don’t do that for some reason and you can safely assume that if there’s no ham, pineapple isn’t an option either. I kind of roll my eyes at places that get uppity about more avant garde toppings. I believe in giving the people what they want if they aren’t interested in your specific vision but I’ll forgive these guys because what they make is so good and the people who work there are so friendly and personable.

They make AMAZING pizza… I’ve only had the basic napoletana or the margherita here, but why bother to order anything more complicated when you can get one of these… a terrific thin crust from obviously a super blazingly hot oven that gets it crispy and melts the cheese so that the cheese is all gooey and the tomato sauce is all yummy and tomato-ey and the herbs are herb-y and yummy and really yummy and good and really yummy and amazing. And it’s really yummy too. Holy cow. I am just kinda totally blown away by them. The beautiful chalkboard menu also contains some pretty funny verbal abuse of the practice of putting pineapple on pizza. Some other reviews have criticized the service, but the way I see it, if you’re going to a New York-style pizza place where you order at the counter, you shouldn’t expect to have servers fawn all over you.
