For being a 24 hour hotel spot I thought it was great. Big menu and just about anything you could want to eat. Stoned or not.

I had a good cheeseburger after some good gambling at the casino. the service was great. the food was good and even better that it’s open 24 hours. i’ll come here again for some grub late-nite…prices weren’t too bad either…

We have had breakfast here a few times and it’s nothing special. I actually like my local waffle house better. The food is pricy, presentation is nice but just so-so food.

The food was good but the service was horrible! Our waiter took forever to take our order and the food took a long time to come. I did like the ambience of the place. The décor was nice and I like the colors inside.

Wow! I’m really surprised at the mediocre reviews of this place. We were staying in South Lake Tahoe and decided to cross the border for some gambling. We passed up the fast food restaurants in search of «real» food and balked at the other extremely expensive restaurants in this casino. Everything was comfort food style, and it was all very reasonable as well as pretty tasty! Between the three of us, we had a salad, clam chowder, country fried steak(they serve breakfast and all of their menu items all day), roast turkey dinner, twin stuffed pork chops, a caramel shake, and a chocolate shake. The portions were HUGE and most of the food was admittedly salty, but we were all very happy with our food. The quality was great(salad had fresh mixed greens), the sizes were generous(the clam chowder was really filled to the brim), and considering it was a 24-hour diner in a casino, it was a great price(under $ 50 for all of our food). The bonus was our server, Debra, who was very sweet, efficient, and just the right balance of friendly and chatty. We liked it there!

I came here with a group of friends because the prices were lower than those at the neighboring restaurants, and I had a lengthy internal dialogue over whether I should get the waffles, meatloaf plate or meatloaf sandwich. I finally settled on the sandwich, because it was only $ 7.75 compared to the other two, which were each around $ 10. I like waffles more than I like meatloaf, but no way am I paying that kind of money when I have a perfectly good Belgian waffle iron back home. I don’t really know what I was expecting, but I didn’t get anything but meatloaf on my bun(and gravy on the side). Shouldn’t there have been cheese or something? Sauteed onions, maybe? How about a tomato? Next time I’m in Tahoe I’m going elsewhere.

Way overpriced! This is supposed to be a «50’s diner with a warm, nostalgic feel and a limitless, round-the-clock menu. Open 24 hours a day, this is the essence of comfort food and convenience for guests with any craving, at any hour.» but I didn’t see any 50’s feel to the place. It was pretty nicely decorated. But $ 10 for 3 pancakes??? $ 4.50 for a bowl of oatmeal? $ 4.00 for a glass of orange juice? It was all too much for what we got. Sure the food was good– but not good enough for the prices they charge. Our server was really nice but really slow. We had to ask several times for ketchup and Tabasco… finally got it about 10 minutes after our food was served.
