Lake Tahoe Cigar Company

Came here while on vacation skiing. Good selection of cigars but a little pricey than I normally pay for cigars. The owner is very knowledgeable and can definitely help select the best cigar for you.

This was my first trip to Tahoe. I’m from fresno and usually go to the local cigars limited humidor shop. I knew I had to grab a nice cigar to complete my trip in this beautiful town.
I came to this shop while staying at the montbleu casino. The owner, I believe his name was Blythe (based on reading other reviews), immediately got up and greeted me. He was nice enough to walk me through his selection of cigars in the humidor and explain each one. After deciding which one I wanted the staff cut the cigar and helped me light it up.
Since I was staying multiple days I had to come back again the next day. Once again the owner treated me with the same respect and courtesy as the day before. He remembered my name and even gave me a deal on a good cigar because I was a repeat customer.
This place is awesome for cigar lovers and I plan on coming back on my next trip out here. Thanks for the great service.

My favorite cigar shop in Lake Tahoe is at the Lake Tahoe Cigar Company. All the staff there are awesome. Especially the owner Blythe. Everybody their treat you like part of the family. If you are first time cigar smoker, they will take the time and go through every cigar they have their in their huge walk-​in humidor and explain each cigar what they are and if the cigar is right for you.

Whenever in Lake Tahoe my husband & I always make it a point to stop at the Lake Tahoe Cigar Company inside of Montbleu. They have a great selection of cigars, cigar related items, & sports memorabilia.
Seriously, all in all it’s just a really cool little shop! The owners are really awesome & pretty funny! I don’t remember their names, but they’re really down to earth, engage you in friendly chit chat and really take the time to get you what you want! Not to mention they told my husband that they can/​will ship him his favorite cigars if needed.
Everybody was in a good/​funny mood & they even suggested & took a picture of us & some extremely long cigars! LOL! I don’t smoke, but I enjoy visiting the LT Cigar Company so that my husband can grab his favorite cigars and to visit with the owners! Check them out if your in the area!

When I travel I like to find a local cigar store to relax in, especially when the weather prevents outdoor smoking. This place was great. The owner and the bearded employee were great. I ended up spending a few hours here over two days. The only thing missing was TVs which was rough with New Years bowls on, but I was able to use their WiFi and my iPad to watch the games.
I’ll be back!

Nicest group of guys in a cigar shop I’ve ever met. Prices are the best I’ve ever seen in any cigar shop especially if you buy cases they will give you great deals. If they don’t have it they can order it and I’ll ship it to your house for free. I was looking for a box of Ashton VSG enchantment cigars no one would give me a deal on a case in Reno but this place did and they ship them to my house for free after they had to order them for me. They also followed up with a phone call to see how they were after I purchased them. These guys are the best.

Not the biggest or best stocked shop I’ve been to, but the staff was great. They were not pushy just there when I needed them. I will go back.

My husband and I came up from Sacramento, thanks to Unilocal my husband found this lounge. The owner, Blythe is a wonderful man. Friendly staff, great sports memorabilia, and a really nice cigar selection. A «must visit» if you’re in Tahoe.

«where everybody knows your name». Might have been the slogan for Cheers, but definitely applies to Lake Tahoe Cigar Company. Step in and take a break. Vast humidor with every cigar you could want. Very reasonable prices and Roger is more than willing to help you make an excellent choice. Then, pull up a chair and relax. Great group of regulars and daily visitors. You will certainly understand why this place becomes your second home. See you all soon

This place was very awesome. The older gentleman behind the counter was very helpful and even walked into the humidifier to give us some recommendations about different cigar choices. He was very friendly and had a good sense of humor. The cigars can get a little pricey but they have a wide variety to choose from.

Having the Lake Tahoe Cigar Company close by, is a Godsend. The owner, Blight, and manager, Roger, are wonderful and very knowledgeable when it comes to premium and every day cigars. Their humidor has something for every taste and every budget.
In addition, they sell great SF Bay Area and other sports memorabilia at affordable prices.
Overall: Come by, have a cigar, and take some home, or call them to have your choice of great cigars shipped to you.
A marvelous place to relax, talk to people who KNOW cigars, and with Lake Tahoe in the background, you cant get much better than that.

Great place to get some super fresh cigars. The owner is a great guy and is very helpful

Ive never written a 1 star review before but this place definatley deserves it. First of all The guy that was working the register was a complete dirt merchant; him and his partner were completely unhelpful and lazy as shit. The dude behind the counter was extremely rude and patronizing. I asked him about acid cigars and what he thaught of them and how they tasted… His reply was «if your gonna smoke an acid cigar, your gonna smoke an acid cigar» and then walked me over to them and pointed at them… They know nothing about cigars, or they are simply to spun out to process a few simple questions. guy with raiders hat was the douchebag and needs to lay down the boof pipe and pull the stick out of his a** !!!

A-​OK. I’m personally not a cigar smoker — went in with da hubby on a night out. They have a walk-​in humidor, which is impressive, as is the wide selection at first. Then you start looking closer and realizing there aren’t a *whole* lot of different cigars: a lot of them are duplicates and there’s about half the humidor da hubby wouldn’t even consider, because he likes to fancy himself a «middle class cigar snob».
The store itself is like a grown boys clubhouse — all it’s missing is a «No Girls Allowed» sign! When I walked in, they all looked like they were seeing a baby giraffe with a can of paint for a hat. It was a funny reaction, but also a little weird. I’m with my Mister and we’re getting a smoke to go; not like I’m trying to sit down and talk tits with you guys. Calm down.
Anywho, it’s a decent place to stop and especially convenient if you’re already in the casino. We’re really spoiled when it comes to cigar shops: the one we used to live near had a decadent selection AND was lady friendly, so not much can compare.

They cost too much for their decent cigars and they search out the nastiest bundled cigars imaginable (I overheard him making new orders, while I was sitting on the very nice leather couch and trying to relax).
Depending upon who is working, you may get someone knowledgeable and friendly, or you may get one of their more annoying employees that day.
