Tried a St. Bernardus Triple,(there goes $ 15) and some much needed Keystone Ice twelvers(grocery store doesn’t carry anymore). Watch out trying to make a left outta’ there.

Supposedly the best selection in town, but nothing special and the ice was almost $ 4 a bag!

After checking out the selection at multiple places in the area I determined this to be the best. The store is actually pretty small but it is impressive how much good stuff they have crammed in there. All the good beer that you could want plus many local selections. A local selection is important to me. I ended up getting a ton of stuff to take back home with me. The owner was also super nice, helpful and know a lot about beer. Next time I go to Tahoe this is where I will do my beverage shopping.

If you’re coming to Lake Tahoe for a keg, this is the place to go. Really good selection and hooked us up last minute. When we went to pick up the keg, we wanted to get a few craft beers as well, and yet another good selection. If you have any good beers that you want and you don’t see them in the fridge, ask the front desk and they might have some in the back. Moses at the front desk hooked us up with some Pliney the Elder!

This store has the best selection of beer in South Lake Tahoe, including microbrews. The owners must be beer aficionados themselves, or at the least have an appreciation for good beer. The store also carries a wide selection of liquor, mixers, and wines. They also have kegs, and have a humidor(cigars). You might get lucky and the owner will be in, and he will point out some special beers to you ;)

I saw this place listed here on Unilocal and on BA and knew I had to stop by. Right when you walk in there is a huge selection if different craft beer. There’s also a huge selection of hard liquor and wine. The prize for me was finding 2014 Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout. I had to jump through hoops to get some of this stuff when I was in Chicago. The staff was great making different recommendations. I was even able to get a bottle of pliny the elder! For all those looking for craft brew in the south tahoe area. This is definitely the place to go!

Best liquor store in Lake Tahoe with everything you may need. Icee style beverages for the summer, hot coffee station, a plethora of beers and a great liquor selection; Not to mention the great prices all around. They even carry hookahs and tobacco for it. My go to shop.

I stopped in after finding on Unilocal while passing through Tahoe. It took me a good 10 minutes to select my beer because of the sizable amount of beers to look through. After the man(I assume the owner) saw me diligently picking my beer asked if I liked Pliny, which I said I did and grabbed me a bottle from the back, which I thought was awesome. If you need some craft beer go to King’s.

Beer sold by the bottle & tons of selections! Also a pretty good selection of hard alcohol & chilled wines, too. Great little local-type spot. Also good to know is they sell BEN&JERRY’s ice cream. Yum. Friendly service from the gentleman that runs the place.

Everybodies right… Large selection… Belgians, I.P.A.‘s, Old Rasputin… but no Bock. The guy at the counter didn’t even know what bock is… Sheesh!

Beer Stop 20 — This is not a beer bar, but was worthy of a stop during the beer tour. Large selection of bottles from craft breweries all over the United States. They also let you purchase single bottles so you can mix and match. Plenty of Russian River bottles as well when I was there — many sour beers, etc. Hi5!

They literally have a beer cave. It’s a little intimidating to go in there and try and find what you’re looking for, but it’s pretty rad. The guys who work here are super nice. They also have kegs, available pretty much all the time. This place is just great.

Love this place. Like, seriously, love it. I’m so glad to be living close to here. They’re awesome. For a few reasons: 1. They have the single-coolest refrigerated beer cave I’ve ever seen. I wanted to just bring a sleeping bag and move in. It was awesome. 2. They have kegs! And, they have a heck of a selection at that. Not terrible prices. We got the Racer 5 for $ 148 which was in great shape. 3. When we got our keg, they loaned us their hand cart for free, and let us walk the keg home! You can’t beat service like that. This place rocks.

Love this store!(maybe too much… perhaps I shouldn’t be proud of loving a liquor store). By far the best beer selection in town, with the option to make-your-own 4 or 6 pack. Pretty good liquor and wine selection, but not stellar. Service is great and friendly… it’s the kind of place that really appreciates you as a local. The only reason I’m not giving that 5th star is that, unlike Raley’s down the street, they don’t really have any featured sales on items. This may not be fair to judge them on, since Raley’s is a giant company, but hey… a deal is a deal. That said, this is definitely the best liquor store in town… I’ll keep coming back.
