Heads Up

What happened to Heads Up? I grew up in Lake Tahoe and have been going here for as long as I can remember. Since they moved it has gotten worse by the day. I walked in about a month ago and the skater looking chick behind the counter was on her phone and didn’t even lift her head. Today I went in and it was the same chick she said if I needed any help to ask I went around the corner and she never even walked around to see what I was looking at. I think she has been on her phone the entire month non stop. Then I asked her a question about taking a ‘drug test’ she literally yelled at me and said I can’t help you. I was like ok wow started to leave then she slammed some detox product on the counter and said I can help you detox but not pass a drug test. I don’t like being treated like a child I understand what you should or shouldn’t say at a smoke shop don’t say bong its a water pipe ect but don’t make your customer feel stupid for acting like an adult. The prices have gone way up the selection has gone way down and the service is beyond horrible! It was literally the worst service and most uncomfortable I have ever been in a smoke shop and I have been smoking for 30 years!

Spent 70 on a vape pen and it broke in a month. Staff hasn’t been helpful in resolving it.

By far the best selection of water pipes in all of tahoe, dont let the shack like outside fool you! They are not overpriced like many of the shops at the lake. Friendly employees have a good knowledge of their products and are more than willing to show and let you handle the pieces.
After searching just about all of Northern Nevada’s smoke shops, I finally found Heads Up. I found exactly the piece I was looking for [a scientific style, foot and a half, double honeycomb perc w/​an inlay and an ice pinch] priced $ 50 cheaper than anywhere else.
Im exceedingly happy with my purchase. I can honestly say its the best piece Ive ever bought!

By far the best selection in Tahoe. Nice people good vibes, I definitely recommend heads up! It’s a little pricy but what in Tahoe isn’t?

Had a great experience, a lot of help, and a very VERY well run shop. Will definitely be visiting more often.

It’s one of the newer shops in town. The building itself is a really cool old A frame house right off of Highway 50. They have a huge selection of glass, and they also offer all the environmentally friendly rolling papers.

This place is a small little shack type store with tons and tons of specialty items. All for a good price in differently areas of the store. For the «tobacco» items/​tools looked pretty cool with the designs and to see peoples «artistic» ways in designing pieces. The real detailed ones were waaayyy expensive. People were nice and helpful to the friends really interested in some tool/​items. I would come back again if in town, I mostly like will do to my friends favorite hobbie… hahaha.
