I needed to take my midterm and final for my online courses at the library. I can honestly say they could not have been any nicer or more cooperative. A young man working the reference desk upstairs named Gus proctored my test. He was extremely nice and helpful. Without his help I would not have been able to get my test nor have it sent back on time. I would highly recommend the library for anything, especially someone who need a test proctored. I appreciate the help and respect from the library, and I recommend them to anyone I can.

This library was ahead of the curve for using technology for quick checkouts and references. I love that you can check out a bag for your books as well! The kids section is massive and the librarians in that section are very sweet and helpful. There are frequent events for kids, so check out a calendar of events if you have little ones.

How can you complain about the library? Everything can be done at the library. Need a passport? They can help you. Need a book for your kid’s book club? They’ll pull it and it will be ready for you at the drive thru. Need a new game for your Wii? Plenty of games for kids and adults. Don’t forget the books that are typically in my hands within a couple of days. I’m not even done! Let’s talk about online. Freegal has been great for us to download 3 free songs a week. Mango has been on my iPad to teach me Mandarin(free). Overdrive is awesome for audiobooks on my iPhone and books for my iPad(free). Lastly, Zinio is my new find where I can read magazines on my iPad(free). I have Dwell, Saveur, Women’s Health, Chicago Magazine, and Cosmopolitan. Every town should have an Ela Area Public Library,
