L.A. Tan

I have been a client for 11 years — love all the tanning options they offer. The gals at the front desk have always been nice and helpful when purchasing tanning products. I wouldn’t certainly suggest this location to anyone needing their services.
My only suggestion is to upgrade the bathrooms a bit.

Just went for my first spray tan ever. Very happy with the customer service and the results. My only complaint is that this location’s fancier/​newer spray machine was broken, so I was unable to do most of what I wanted with my spray tan (e.g. the moisturizing treatment). However, things happen, things break, that’s definitely not their fault. The lady helped me navigate the different options to compensate for this issue — which was incredibly helpful to me since I know next to nothing about tanning.
Will be back and would highly recommend! Already recruited two of my friends who plan on going tomorrow!

I have just recently started coming to this location and I am very impressed! The girls at the front desk always make me feel welcome and do their best to answer any questions that I have. (I depend on their input a lot because I don’t know too much about tanning.) They always have helpful recommendations and never make me feel like I’m asking a stupid question. When I bought my lotion, the girl was able to recommend specific ones that would work best for my skin, she even knew off the top of her head which had certain ingredients in them (I like lotions that contain aloe). If I remember correctly, her name was Marissa. They also ask me if I have my eyewear each and every time I come in, I have witnessed other customers give them a hard time about this, but I personally appreciate their concern for my safety, because if they didn’t ask me, I would probably forget mine half of the time… LOL! The salon always looks clean and they have a variety of different tanning beds and stand up machines. I noticed the bad reviews and was skeptical to come in at first, however, having been a «regular» customer for over 3 months now, I can’t help but think that there must have been major changes made (possibly new management??) because I highly recommend this location! I have been to multiple locations over the years, and this by far is my favorite one. This place deserves way more credit!

This location is very large. They offer lots of tanning bed options. They offer minute packages that average out to around $ 8 a tan. However they have no fun daily/​weekly specials that I know of. This is not a place you can stop in and just buy a single tan, they set the pricing up so it doesn’t make since to do it that way. Example, one session for 15 min in a level 3 is $ 18 and in a 1 is $ 13 which seem ridiculous to me. It’s an okay place but expensive.

I really like this location. The girls are really nice at the desk, the nicest LA Tan employees I have ever experienced. The beds and rooms are very, very clean. I never wait that long even on $ 5 Tuesdays. At other locations I have waited no lie an hour after being told the wait is 10 min. They don’t push lotion or anything on you. I have gotten very tan in just under a month going weekly. Check it out!

I love this location all the girls are super super sweet and never pressure u to buy lotion. They’ll offer but never make u feel guilty for not buying one they are always super friendly. I love the results I get from this location as well I always get super dark from the versa and the tanning beds.

I just called this LA Tan Location and received horrible customer service. I have never been to an LA Tan and this solidifies that i will never go to one. The girl was rude and when i asked for package pricing and information, she replied, «if you’d like to come in, a Representative can go over packages with you. I have a bunch of customers waiting in line that i have to get to.» Seriously? The whole reason i am calling you is because i can’t come in and who would waste a trip if the pricing wasn’t as good as somewhere else or got horrible service anyway? Looks like i am just adding another negative review to the bunch and they haven’t change since before 2009.

This place has become dirty and unfriendly for the past 2 years. I used to go there almost every week for 5 years until last year. Now with the new manager, it’s awful. The girls there are not friendly and the beds aren’t clean half the time. Last time I was there, the actual girl in charge was eating chips and didn’t even pay attention to me when I walked in. I felt like I bothered her while she was licking her fingers, and only then she got up to offer me service. It was the last time I went there. They never smile or salute you when you leave in comparison with other places. For example, lately I’ve been going to a different L.A. tan location, in Schaumburg, and it’s way better. First of all the girls welcome you nicely, they tell you about their special offers and the beds are clean… Plus, they have deodorant, «thank you» candy and face whipes in every room, each time, for free!!! That’s what I call great service. But not this place. I am very disappointed with the new staff in charge and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!! :-(((((
