Beef sandwich is average, like any beef Not from Portillos or Mr. Beef, in my humble opinion. The hot dog with sloppy joe is very good. The sloppy joe is excellent. It really made the dog. I wich I tried the sloppy joe sandwich. This place is open til 10. Everything else around here closes around 8 or 9, so that helped greatly.

The Pizza Factory is another great place to go to in Lake Zurich. The girls that answer take the order right the first time and you never have to worry about your order coming out wrong. When the girls say that it’s going to be done you can bet that it will be at the promised said and your order will be hot when you take it to go. I usually order a pizza and a couple of sides to go on Friday night on the way home. Then Saturday, I’ll stop by again and pick up some hotdogs, Italian sausages, beefs with some more sides. The guy’s in the back are really friendly and will talk to you unless they are busy but they will at least say goodbye and have. Then the girl behind the counter, will take your order from the kitchen to give to you and say have a nice day or weekend by calling you Mr/Mrs with your last name, never had a bad meal there and they are all so friendly at their work, plus the food is hot and ready just like when they told you when they first took your order… JT ”

Grabbed a pizza last night for the first time… not a good move. Walked up to the pick up counter to find fruit flies in my face. The pizza was bland I had to salt it up and add hot peppers to try to enjoy it. I’ll look for a new pizza joint for my late night cravings, sorry.

I can’t understand how this place has another«restaurant» in Barrington. It was absolutely horrible. I can usually find something good about a place, but I am really hard pressed here. We tried several things and each one was worse than the next. The pizza cracker crust is thin, but it is literally like eating a cracker. The«fresh» ingredients were not – the mushrooms were clearly from a can with that tinny flavor that you get and that waterblogged texture. The spinach tasted frozen and if it wasn’t, it wasn’t very fresh. There was barely any cheese and the sauce was reminiscent of Chef Boyardee with that tomato paste and raw oregano flavor with no real steeping of any true Italian gravy flavor. Just awful. I personally couldn’t even eat more than one bite. And it wasn’t cheap either so it made it even worse. I don’t mind paying more for quality, but this was truly disappointing. The meatballs had some kind of hard bits in it; I don’t know if it is low quality meat or what. Will not be returning.

These guys know how to make a pie! I love the fact they use canned mushrooms… that’s the way Ma &Pa pizza joints in the city do it.

We tried the Pizza Factory about two weeks ago and was disappointed. We ordered a thin crust pizza and an Italian beef. First, the beef was horrible — I mean putrid. I took one bite and my mouth refused to swallow it. I spit it out. My wife thought I was over reacting so took a piece of beef, proceeded to bite into it and spit it out as well. I honestly think the beef was spoiled. The pizza has potential but they messed up the ingredients on the order. The crust was good: thin and crunchy. The toppings were ok but really lacked flavor as if they did not use any seasoning/spices. My son said the pizza at high school is better. This is what a diet pizza would taste like. Never going back.

We had their BBQ chicken pizza and it was really good! The thin crust is as thin as you can get but the edges are nice and crispy. We will order again and try something different

Typical thin crust pizza, and underwhelming at that. Flavorless cracker-like crust. Use of canned mushrooms automatically means it won’t taste very good. Reminiscent of a Rosati’s thin crust, but not quite as good. Was really hoping for something unique, or at least flavorful. Pretty bland, and just ‘meh’ overall. Ordering was easy and prompt, delivery was within quoted time, courteous on all fronts. Still, for the price, probably won’t bother to order again.
