Schwinn Bicycles-the Cyclery

Recently bought a bike when my old when died. I hadn’t really ridden for about 30 years so I needed some help.
The staff, Greg and Tim were very helpful and held the bike while I sat on it. Then let me take the Hybrid bikes I selected for a spin around the parking lot.
I thought the price was more than I wanted to spend but after going to Dick’s, where even though I asked twice no one would help me in the bike department, and then Walmart (LOL) I decided to go with the people that are there to advise and service.
BTW they give two years of complimentary service when you buy a bike from them.
A good experience and highly recommended.

Service is GREAT at this shop
When you go in this shop you will get a welcome hello, they will ask you what they can help you with, then listen to the problem and best of all FIX THE THING!!! — No smug blank stares — No long awkward moments. They don’t seem to discriminate between men and women, old or young, the don’t seem to base service level on the bike level,. When I purchased my first road bike with them it was a great experience, they make me feel like a valued customer and stand behind the bike and service without any hassle or arrogant snobbery that seems to be the norm at bike shops. Those shops can save it for someone else –I don’t want to feel like I’m entering some angst infused German expressionist film festival when I enter a bike shop — I want to get a great bike, and know that the people who sold it to me are glad I purchased it from them! I want good service and to be treated like a valued customer. I have been so pleased with the service at this shop and will purchase my next upgrade here. Highly Recommended!
