Top of the heap for diner food. If there’s a line, it’s worth the wait. We ordered eggs Benedict, garden skillet, chunky monkey pancakes, and pecan waffles. All of us loved our food. The chunky monkey pancakes were so tasty I didn’t need to add any syrup at all; just had some whipped cream on top. Service was prompt and friendly. Portions aren’t huge, but they are generous. My only complaint is that the juices(orange and pineapple) were a little watery. Wish I lived closer.

I have never had anything bad here. The food is great and so is the portion size. The staff is very friendly and always around. Usually a small wait but they get people in and out really fast. Highly recommend this place.

Food leaves a lot to be desired and the wait staff and management are very rude and refuse to be held accountable for their mistakes. Spend your money elsewhere.

I had the pork-roll and cheese, a bagel w/cream cheese, and crumb cake. All of it was great i’ve been living in ga. since 97 and none of those things are near as good there if available at all. Great price to portion ratio. I wish there were 10 more just like em.

This place is awesome for a simple breakfast most people don’t know too much about these days. It’s kitch with nik naks everywhere but I like that kind of atmosphere when I’m having my breakfast. You’re always seated with a smile and the wait staff sincerely care about who you are and where your from like Aunt B’s place or diners that know you are there to eat great food and bolt! I ordered an egg over easy with a side of bacon which came out hot and ready to eat. It’s all inclusive so hash browns and toast were readily available and came with a $ 4.25 price which for me is pennies for a great American breakfast! Sandy the owner is a working owner who genuinely cares about her patrons as on many occasions I’ve seen the local police force dine here in droves. This place rocks because it doesn’t forget how simple it is to fry an egg but it executes the best customer service imaginable. It’s local places like this that make me proud to be from Jersey!

OK, I give it 4 stars since they are a good, simple restaurant with friendly service and very good food for not much money. Thursdays nites are karaōke nites just as a heads up to you(I don’t care for karaōke specially if the music is for the senior citizen crowd but you might like Sinatra and all). Fave dish: the country gravy at breakfast. Awesome!

I LOVE this place! I moved about 8 years ago from Lakehurst, NJ to Florence, NJ and I completely MISS this place. It felt like home. The waitstaff is super friendly and will even remember your name if you go there every so often which is a nice special touch. The food is delicious– i can not find a place that serves sausage in gravy the way they do! I even travel the hour to gets some on an occasion. Super Yum!

This place is great for breakfast. Very reasonable complete dinners and early birds with a wide selection. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Homemade soups and salad dressings are quite good. The country décor is a little overdone but worth it to try, especially if you are on a budget. They now accept credit cards

Great little spot for breakfast. Been going here for about 7 years now, mainly breakfast. Always good.

To be avoided. Extreme kitsch is not a substitute for good food. Of our two orders, one was served on rotting lettuce with a side of hair. The other was simply wrong. Our server — when she finally returned — basically said«it wasn’t me».

Sandy’s is everything that Michael S. says — delicious, inexpensive, friendly, cash-only. I enjoy breakfast and lunch there whenever I’m in town.

Sandy’s is one of those hidden little treasures in small-town life… Well priced, the portions are good, and the food is great(plus everyone is REALLY friendly too)! One drawback for some may be that they don’t take credit — it’s a cash-only place… but again, it’s inexpensive so that works out well for most. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!
