Desert– Lemoncello, & Mango gelato, & a cheesecake– perfect ending!!! Service– if there was a 6 star, they’d have it MICHELE, was our server, and was perfection to a T! We will be back, yet again–

This was first lunch place I ate in Lakehurst. Flash fwd 6months… it was memorable enough that i came back again after a round of golf and I ordered the wagyu(or was it the kobe…) beef burger. Not bad for a local joint and service was great. Beer was good. No complaints. Enough to leave a blurb here ;)

The best restaurant in Ocean County. Food is delicious and many ethnic and American dishes That are simply great. The prices are very fair. The portions are more than ample. Whether you Are looking for a full meal or just a snack this is the place. Real great soup.

Atmosphere, service, and food top notch! I was in town on business working at Lakehurst NAES looking for a healthy alternative to the heavy Italian presence in the area. Had the Mamas stuffed cabbage(which I have been making for years) and it was fantastic! I coupled that with a glass of their house brew pine Devils ale which completed the sublime experience.

Very good and extensive menu. The thanksgiving day sandwich is amazing. The dessert flutes are wonderful.(Hazelnut and limoncello were both delicious) Our server was helpful and accommodating. They allowed us to eat outside on the patio with our pup, which was great instead of getting take out. The inside is clean and modern with a gigantic bar.

This restaurant was great! We went for a 5:30 dinner with 4 for my father’s birthday. We were seated promptly, even though they were pretty packed. Our waitress, Alison, was very nice and attentive. We did not have any appetizers. One person had French onion soup and said it was some of the best he has had. All our main dishes were amazing. 3 out of 4 had burgers and all wee juicy and cooked perfectly. Bill was reasonable for 4 people for dinner. Would definitely go back!

Great place w a very varied menu. We stopped for an early dinner. Took quite some time to decide but ended up with the Margarita chicken dinner which came with salad, a nice portion of chicken & julienne vegetables. They also had a couple of craft beers on tap including some locals. Don’t let the exterior of this building fool you. It’s well worth stopping in.

So, this is my 500th review — seems like it was just yesterday when this all started … Came here based upon a recommendation from the people at Rinn Duin Brewing(they produce a beer for the restaurant, Pine Devil Farmhouse ale). We found the building, on Rt 70 quite easily and the interior of the bar/dining room is tastefully decorated. Their menu is diverse, to say the least with offerings running from Jaeger Schnitzel to Pulled Pork with bacon to Sushi to the Hinden Burger(a little take off on the fact that they are located a few miles from the site of the famous crash — «Oh, the humanity»). Four of us sat at the bar and sampled many of their beer offerings, which was fairly extensive. I chose the Pulled Pork sandwich, with crispy bacon, and was not disappointed. My wife had the Crab Cake appetizer, served over risotto and liked it very much. Tim had a burger as well along with sweet potato fries and I know Sue had a salad with an entrée. Portions were large and the prices are very reasonable. Worth a trip back.

Never having heard of 3Bs, the only reason we ever would have tried this place is because Rinn Duin Brewery recommended them. You can’t eat at a brewery(at least not in NJ) so we gave them a whirl. Located on Route 70 in Lakehurst, 3Bs is in a strip mall. Don’t let the mustard color building turn you off, it’s worth going to. We were able to get there early enough to get a seat at the bar. By the time we left it was quite crowded for a weeknight. Two things struck me as unusual for a place off the beaten path. One the diversity in their menu. The other being the fine beer selection they have. I’ll start with the former. I know of no place where you can get pizza, sushi, and schnitzel at the same place. The latter being that they had quite a good beer selection to choose from with something like 15 tap beers and good bottle choices as well. I had an angus burger(picture provided) that was very good. Three others with me totally enjoyed their meals. Food came out hot and in a timely manner and the prices are quite reasonable. Comfortable and friendly atmosphere makes a second trip here quite likely.

Best plate of mussels I’ve eaten in years. Maybe, ever! The sauce was good enough to drink from a mug. I was impressed with the surprisingly extensive and diverse menu. Other customers at tables around ours were lively and talkative. But once their meals arrived, as with ours, tables went virtually silent. All that could be heard were the sounds of flatware on plates and murmurs of ‘Mmmm’s’ and ‘Yumm’s’ until the wait staff(each I encountered, pleasant and accommodating) removed the all but licked clean plates. The bar is large and inviting. And for those who enjoy a hardy glass of stout, the barkeep is a master at the art of pouring. The best thing I can say about 3B’s Bar & Biestro; I’LLBEBACK!!!

Ate here with my family plus one on Saturday. We made reservations and say right away. We were sat in the back and the poor waiter had 10 tables and was overwhelmed. We had to request bread and flag him for drink refills. Again – he was doing his best with a lot of tables. We had several variations of sushi and my family loves everything. And they are tough. I had the salmon, asparagus and cous cous and it was great. Good size and hot on arrival. Son had the NY strip and complained about fat and lack of any seasoning. Called it bland. Not awful, but not tasty. Wife has a rice bowl and loved it. Daughter and boyfriend has more sushi for dinner. Other son had a chicken sandwich. Everything was very good. New gelato desserts are awesome. We will keep coming back.

I was visiting family in New Jersey recently and we had dinner at Three Bs. I felt like I was on a cruise ship! There was a man singing and playing the piano. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing. I honestly felt like I was on a vacation! They had a special on Chianti so we ordered a bottle for the table to share. Everyone ordered something different and we all loved our food. The stuffed artichoke was delicious! I’d never even seen one before!

The food was good. I had the burger as they had different varieties. The burger seemed pre-formed, as the shape seemed perfect and meat was pressed into shape. Burgers should be lightly pressed together to prevent a tough texture. The sushi appetizer was excellent and the person with me enjoyed her food. I would go back, not for the burger.

Went here with friends last night. Fantastic, loved everything about this place. Extensive menu. Even had Octoberfest selections. Sushi, burgers, dinners, pizza. Everyone loved their food. My husband had Jambalaya, our friends had the rice bowl and my girlfriend and I had the Thanksgiving sandwich, which was outstanding. Wine was delicious and a great price. Served in a beautiful glass. There was a man playing an organ. Great songs. Just a tad too loud. We will be back. Waitress was excellent. Even brought my husband two tastes of the red wine to see which one he would prefer. Try this place you won’t be disappointed!

As a first timer, here’s my take: Décor…OK. Place was bright and comfortable, but who thought to place restrooms right next to the kitchen door? Getting to bathroom while dodging the tray carrying servers was a challenge. Food…OK. Impressed with their vast Cheesecake Factory-esque menu; though no one in our table of 11 completely 100% enjoyed their meal. It was hit or miss. Service…OK. Friendly and helpful staff. I realize it was a busy Saturday night and we were one of several large groups, but maybe they could’ve brought the bread out a little sooner ahead of the meals. Then again, maybe we shouldn’t have arrived starving. Overall…OK. Good, not great. I’d try it again with a smaller group.

The food was very tasty. Love that it wasn’t over salty like most places. Drinks: Sangria Pitcher– was a bit taken back as I was expecting a bit more sweeter taste. Iv had Sangria many of times and have made it myself and this one was not bad but was missing things. The fruit was very alcohol potent, as if it has been soaking in straight up pure clear alcohol. Your missing Brandy, seven up and definately oranges and hold back on so much ice in the pitcher. Our waitress told us we’d get 6 glasses and we only got 2.5 and the glasses should be the small wine glasses Appetizer: We had the calamari, it was tasty but would have liked to have had the little mini squid along with the rings. But it was still tasty. I also had Cream of mushroom soup. It was good, just had a bit of a kick to it, but kind of was expecting a little bit more creamier texture to it. Was also expecting some chunks of fresh omushroom pieces to be present to give it a little bit more body. Other than that the taste was good. My husband had the Cesar salad, I was expecting to see a more authentic look of shaved parm cheese. He also suggested fresh Croutons would have been better. All in all it was still good. I had Chicken Francise it was very good, did not have an eggy taste at all. The fresh pasta was good as well, pasta had a great body to it. It was very meaty and absorbed the juice of the francine well. The lemon sauce was good but I’d suggest a more natural Lemon sauce made of Lemon, white wine, freah garlic, butter and a splash of ½ & ½. But other than that it was very tasty. My husband had the penne with vodka and grilled chicken that had a very good taste to it. I tasted it and was very pleased, the sauce was semi thick but very tasty. I would definately recommend this place otherwise.

Surprised by the extensive menu choices. Finally decided to go to 3B’s for our dinner after arriving at our NJ house. Have been wanting to go here for a while and were not disappointed. My order of the New Orleans style seafood pot pie was amazing in its size and abundance of seafoods. Will be making a trip back to 3B’s asap to try the other great looking menu choices. My tip: come hungry because you will certainly be taking home leftovers to enjoy.

Not bad. I had the Annapolis Stuffed Shrimp, and it was pretty decent, and a little overpriced. It didn’t blow me away, but it was good. My wife had the sashimi salad, and that did kind of blow me away, it was very good. Service was a little slow, but they were busy, so that could be the reason. Good restaurant with an «upscale Applebees» type of menu, if you know what I mean.

The food is actually four stars, the surrounding area a 2, and the ability to get seating and not forgotten about a 2 or 3. Don’t get the wrong impression. This place is especially popular with the locals and is always slammed. It may not look like much on the outside but the food is actually top notch here and the décor is kind of swank on the inside. They have another huge dining room off to the side for parties, weddings, and other special occasions. It’s on the pricier side of bar food but some of the plates speak for themselves. The rice bowls are awesome. Would I come here often? Nah. But if you’re passing through and want to have a nice dinner and a drink it really is an unexpected highlight in the area.
