Food has a funny taste. Crab ragoons are great. I don’t think it is very clean, but are any of these kind of places? Friendly staff. My friends like this place though. They do have great lunch specials.

Few times in you life you stumble upon the rare hole in the wall that can really knock your socks off… And can wow your senses and taste buds with the joy of a great food…
This can not be said for this Dump… Walked in and the first thing you notice is the over whelming sent of BLEACH… Now I know they are supposed to be cleaning, but when the first thing you notice when you walk in the door is not the smell of FOOD but more like a floor cleaner … Something told me I should of walked out then, but my hunger for some egg drop soup got the best of me. With that said I approached the counter. Not sure if the person that was helping me was a woman or some Asian transvestite that has smoked like 4 packs of Paul mals a day for the last 20 years… Anyways maybe if you want to do business in a country where English is the primary language, maybe you should learn it… I felt like a 3^rd grader pointing at a picture on the wall hoping you can understand the simplest of hand gestures… Now I assume that it would be very hard to mess up Egg drop soup and egg rolls, But I digress… The soup has the consistency of like the worst snot drainage I have ever seen… And tasted like I had just licked the rim of a margarita glass covered in salt… Which brings me to the egg roll … How can you mess up something all you have to do is warm it up … You don’t even make it … My co worker told me to go anywhere but China Chen’s so I get what I deserve … Money wasted and still no soup… I opened up my fortune cookie and this is what it said … «Sometimes advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer «…

GOT SICK THE BOTH TIMES I WENT! I was sick the 1^st time and I wasnt sure if the food was a sure cause but after the 2^nd time I was in the bathroom throwing up is my proof that this place is a health concern. The food was dry, little flavor, and not fresh. Very poor service. Not worth the risk.

4 — Stars for Portion size, Quality, Taste & Texture!
(I tried their Roast Pork fried rice QT-​size enough for 2-​people)
This place is not for high end dining! But if you are looking for reasonably priced great tasting Chinese dishes, then this place is definitely worth a try.
Their service is prompt and Semi-​friendly.
The only down side was that I had to ask for a metal spoon instead of using their standard issue plastic fork.
I asked for pepper, they gave me two black pepper packets — I should have requested hot sauce instead! We were in a hurry, so I’ll remember to request hot sauce next time!
I will definitely go there again anytime I am in Lakeland.
