Ok. General Tao chicken good. Order then walk over to Publix and shop while they make your order.

Went there today. Order taker was rude and short with me while taking my order. Give me a stated wait time of 15 minutes for my food. After 30 minutes of waiting I find out that they have totally forgotten my food and told me it will be another 5 minutes. When I asked for a refund the food showed up and they refused to give me a refund. Had to make a scene before the rude order taker gave me a refund. As I walked out she started to insult me. Will never visit this place again and I suggest you don’t either.

I was told by a friend to check this place out. As a vegetarian, Polk county lacks in decent chinese takeout for vegetarians, especially in this area of town. I really enjoyed their general tso’s tofu and their spring rolls. Also, the food isn’t too greasy or anything like that. I’m really happy with the service too.

Typical«NY Style» take-out restaurant found all over Polk County under different names(China One, Bamboo Wok). Large menu of standards running $ 7. Soda by the can $ 1, tea(no refill) $ 1. I ordered Szechuan beef and steamed rice, egg roll. The white rice goes from cold(cooked) to a wok to heat(so is it not less healthy/fried?) Entrée was nicely spicey. Food very hot. Portion large. Egg roll tasted horrible – one of worst I’ve had. Owners speak great English – which is nice if you request specialy order. 14 year old son mans the front counter. Painted an unappetizing green. No pics on the wall, used furniture. Mom who was working front counter also walking around with a plunger and rubber gloves(kinda yucky but probably needed). Only open a week so probably needs time to get it all together. I’m much happier around the corner at China ONE(Edgewood). *While I stand by my honest review, future reviewers might be advised you may get«attack emails» under the«compliments» button, from people related to this business.(11÷3÷12)
