I don’t often review retail places — but this is an exception, because it is really cool and I want my friends to know about it. The reason I gave it 5 starts was not because of exceptional service or product, but it just made me feel really good. The old style sodas and candies reminded me of happy times. The artwork in the back is really cool. Personally, I picked up a buffalo wing soda, that was rally good — think spicy orange soda. We also scored some really good taffy.

Ah sugar, sugar! Who doesn’t love pop and candy? They certainly have it all here. Mostly their own brand pop but pretty much every kind that would make you want to come back endlessly to try more. An entire wall is dedicated to just cream soda and the Almond Cream I had was smooth. I also had the Bacon Maple Soda and it tasted just how it sounds. As if that’s not enough there’s quite a number of other bacon goodies. Bacon floss, toothpicks or body wash anyone? Then there’s always the bacon toys, beans, band aids and gummies! The rest of the large area is dedicated to candies of all types. Of interest to me were the older candy and the Japanese candy. Customer service was a bit lacking but all in all it’s a great place to get your sugar on any time of the day.

Awesome selection of somewhat kickass drinks… Flavors of fizzy sodas of anything under the sun. I just had to try the maple bacon soda. Everyone thought it tasted strange and not very bacony, but I thought it was good. Also had a butterscotch soda, and an interesting cream soda.

Hands up clapping… «I met my boyfriend at the candy store, he bought my ice cream, he bought me cake, he brought me home with a bellyache» Ok so there’s no cake and no ice cream here — but there is definitely lots of candy and lots of bottled sodas! This place is huge for a candy store. They have all different types of candies from nostalgic to now. An interesting selection of salt water taffy. They also have some pretty cool concert posters for sale as well. Since it’s a specialty type store – don’t expect to find your bulk grocery store pricing for your average kit kat. With that said, pricing is average but the selection of unique candies all in one store are top notch. #sweettooth
