Wook’s Beef Jerky

I first came across Wook’s on the last Friday of the last season that the Tampa Downtown Market was held on Fridays. Best beef jerky I’d ever had! Still chewy but also moist and it actually had flavor, without the extreme punch of salt and shoe leather texture of other jerky I’ve had. Later I went in with a friend to order several flavors online (you save $ 1 a pack when ordering 4 or more) and quickly received the order. It was as good as I’d had at the market. Recently we placed another order and found that a couple of the flavors seemed more dried out than we remembered, so I contacted the owner, who actually replaced the entire order! And it’s all good. That is exceptional customer service and the reason, in addition to the very good product, for this post. I want to encourage other beef jerky fans to give Wook’s a try. They have a calendar on their website of different area farmer’s markets they attend, if you don’t want to order online.
