According to their website they are under new ownership and I decided to take a chance when my desktop computer suddenly wouldn’t boot up correctly or send an image to my monitor. I brought it in at 5PM without calling first, the young man at the counter(«Freddie») was cheerful and polite and immediately went to work on my machine, and within just a few minutes he had it up and running after some sort of simple BIOS reset. No charge! I was very impressed and so far would recommend this company to my friends. Thanks, Freddie!

the worst never never go here charged a 100 to do nothing to my computer … and I had to dig for the little info I got«yeah it was a virus» get home as bad as the day I brought it in… I hope they loose their shirts

worst company I have ever dealt with. I don’t have the energy to explain how bad they are. Look at their reviews on yahoo. The only good ones all say service with a smile. Who do you think wrote those? Incompetent boobs.

Terrible service. How they’re still in business is beyond me. I went in to buy a backup hard drive. which most computer businesses will gladly sell an old used part. They thought I was just another ignorant customer and attempted to rip me off. 50 $ for a used 100gig hard drive??? I’d rather wait the 1 – 2 weeks for shipping and get one new for 24 $. Normally id rather support my local businesses, but not if they attempt to take advantage of me. Avoid this hole in the wall. Its obvious they do not care about their customers. Travel elsewhere or spend 90% less online, that place and its employees are a joke.

Read review numbers 1 and 2 and act accordingly. However the staff does appear to have technical competence. Getting them to actually do the work is problematic. On pickup, four weeks later by my wife, no bill of sale or accounting of work done was provided when the CC was charged. And there were some fairly minor issues with the computer. When I was unable to reach them by phone for four days, I asked Chase credit card services to withhold payment temporarily. Chase was very professional setting up a three way call with the manager. Riviera agreed to re-examine and fix the computer. It was a minor s/w configuration problem. When I picked it up, the manager started yelling at me and accused me of stealing my own computer. Unbelievable. At that point I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Of course they are not certified by BBB. But I will have to note that the actual work done was ok.
