Helpful, cheerful owner who enthusiastically recommends fibers. Lots of selection, real alpacas out back, a cute dog to pet… what more can one ask for?

Friendly staff! Going here is like visiting family in their home. They raise sheep and alpacas and spin, dye, and sell their own yarn(600 yards for $ 30 of their brand of super soft and beautiful alpaca!). There are so many different varieties of yarn, you’ll be spoiled for choice and they’ll ball it up for you! There’s a gift shop with house-made fudge, lots of treats, candles, jewellery, clothes, you name it. They also rent cabins!!! One downside: porta-potty.

I really like this place. Port Clinton is not known for great shopping and I don’t believe Marblehead is either but this quaint little place on the side of the road is a nice find. Really cute jewelry, shoes and purses. The jewelry is unique and not at all cheap looking. Candles and perfumes too as well as some beautiful scarves.

This place is a treasure for knitters, spinners and crocheters everywhere. It is crammed pack full of yarns, notions and ideas. Christie, the owner, is there most of the time and she’ll give you a free knitting lesson with any purchase. Next door is a studio with a couple cabins for workshops. She even has sheep! Don’t miss this place. It would be worth taking a group of knitters to learn weaving or spinning or something.

A color and tactile dream. A small space exploding in creative possibilities. A must stop if you are in the area. The staff quite knowledgable and friendly too.
