Most people are pretty upset when they’re told their transmission is blown because it’s expensive. That was the case with me. The dealer was going to charge $ 8,900 for a whole new transmission and I took my Land Rover to Steve who gave me the best customer service and charged me only $ 2,500 for a transfer case. They educated me and showed me the old, replaced part. They also changed my oil and put in new front rotors and brakes. If you want your car to work and great customer service, bring it to Steve and Bill at AAMCO transmission!

I took my car in and was so scared about what the problem could be and how much it was going to cost me! I talked with Steve while they had my car for 10 days. He was really nice and very reassuring. Surprisingly he remembered things we had talked about like needing my car so I could go see my kids on the weekend and buying a house. He was able to fix my problem for reasonably cheep (considering the issue) and I really appreciate the personal touch and genuine care he had for my situation.
Hopefully I wont need to see him again but if I do I am happy to say I will be going back to Steve!

I was a bit panicky when I brought my Lexus RX300 in. She’s an old gal and she had NO transmission fluid on the dip stick at all. They found a leak in the line and showed it to me, ordered the parts and topped me off so I would be OK for a few days until I could get it back in and repaired.
Everyone was very respectful and reassuring. I had been to two other shops that were less than helpful. She’s all fixed now and I learned that they do all car repair not just transmission work. We will definitely be back :) Many thanks!

We are two for two with these folks and will definitely be back. Last summer they totally took care of my Mazda truck and today they worked on our VW Jetta. In all of my interactions with them they have been kind and honest. We highly recommend them.

These jerks are crooked. They took the tranny apart, to ‘inspect’ it. put it back together wrong, and when it shit the bed they wanted $ 3000 to fix it. AVOID THESE PEOPLE!!!
NO SUCH THING AS A FREE INSPECTION!!!
