Big Daddy’s Pizza

The worst possible delivery pizza in downtown, you make an order, they lie to you saying it will be there within a half hour, and it never shows up, you call them over an hour later and as high as a kite they claim the pizza somehow magically disappeared or the delivery driver or both.
Don’t waste your time, they are so out to lunch they don’t know if there coming or going. Unreliable and unprofessional. Huge disappointment. I will have the hotel take them off the list of recommendations

This pizza place has reliable service, dependable food and great prices. We have never been dissatisfied.

We have been ordering from these guys for a while, but tonight they made life time customers out of my boyfriend and I. I made a mistake on my online order, and when we got the pizza I called thinking they had made the mistake. After realizing that I was the wrong I was resigned to accept the pizza as is, but the guy on the phone was adamant about remaking our pizza for free and sending it out. These guys rock!

I ordered 2 times first time they got my order wrong and wouldn’t credit me back for the missing items only a credit. pizza credit i had to order more.

3^rd time i ordered they just forgot to make my order and couldn’t cancel it could just send it and give me a credit. yay

Ok… The pizza is basically cardboard with cheese and pepperonis on it. But! If you’re intoxicated at 1am and want pizza delivery this is you’re only option. And at that point you’ll eat anything. Actually you’ll eat one slice and immediately regret it. If I wasn’t such a pizza snob I’m sure it’d be great. But bowling alley/​gas station pizza isn’t my thing. Thanks for delivering at 2am though!

I was so surprised when I looked down and actually wasn’t eating the box.

Pizza is terrible. The fast pizza in Denver needs some serious improvement. This spot is one of the only ones open late so most of the time it’s your only choice. But damn is it awful.

Matthew M the pizza tasted like dirty mushrooms. And the salad was all wilted… Covered in all kinda of veggies so I couldn’t see the salad. It was Horrible I Will never waist 40 dollars again … At this place! Was never a loyal a customer. We just wanted to try something different for pizza. Unfortunately is was Awful … Unilocal

Good service. The pizza I ordered is a BBQ chicken pizza. Lots of sauce on this pizza make it a bit interesting. Yeah it kinda make the dough a bit soggy but the taste was superb. First time to try this pizza and my rating for this is a 4. Overall, it was a good experience.

I ordered a pizza a few days ago, and man it was delicious! I got the garlic sauce instead of the traditional marinara sauce and I loved it! Will definitely order again!

I thought these guys would be a nice alternative to the big pizza places. A bit more pricey, but higher quality? After giving them a try, however, I don’t think I will order from them again. Higher price and the delivery was 45 min late. Not the best first experience.

Good pizza. I can definitely say it’s not really all that worth the price. However, when it’s late at night at no other place is open, then it’s well worth it.
I’ve ate from here for the past yr or so, I can honestly say that it is over average and it deserves 4stars hands down.

Really good pizza! In our family of 4, typically 1 doesn’t like a new place. This place got ALL 4 votes! We will order this again. We ordered online and that experience was pretty good too.

I am rating the pizza for the four stars because it should
always bethe star of the show and everything else
should be secondary and if you don’t like it go to that
pizza joint in Brooklyn (Di Fari’s I think) where the
old guy makes em one by one and you will wait but is
worth it for sure. But for $ 3.99 for a 12″ pepperoni and
cheese– its takes real moxie really to complain.
Well for starters it was’nt as bad as a frozen pizza and
of course it was not as la-​ti-​da as some artisian joints
like several in lohi neighborhood or whatever. Heck the
review I did for another place sold you a canned coke
and two slices that were actually medicore compared to
any slice from Big Daddys for the 12″. The oven was a
typical roller style oven bit the crust came out like real
bread and the mottling bottom side was a nice speckled
brown. The pie overall was really about a 7 with 8 being
what you would expect from decent NY style pizza spot,
9 being the rare and prized and 10 being
once in a lifetime for culinary, pepperoni cheesy pleasure.
Honestly for the price they blow a lot of spots out the
water for lunch specials.

Horrible customer service. I called once and got hung up on by Mark. Maybe he should learn some basic customer service skills. I spoke to the manager and he wasn’t helpful at all. At least they could do is apologize for a late delivery. I ordered through a 3^rd party but you would still expect a business to take responsibility. Last time I will be ordering with this business.

I’ve watched Top Gun and am starting another movie while waiting for this mediocre pie. I live less than a mile away and it’s been over 2 hours. Apparently it’s «on the way» tho

Incredibly disappointed. I wanted to like them because I have never been there, but unfortunately that was a horrible experience. I had a coupon for $ 19.99. I was told it would be $ 24 and some change with delivery. I called back and changed the regular breadsticks to cheese sticks. They never gave me a total. The guy came in perfect time and presented me with a $ 30 dollar total. How does cheese cost $ 10?
Anyway, after calling the manager who said whatever is on the ticket is the correct amount and hung up with him. I talked with the delivery driver and explained everything to him. Even he seemed surprised by the total, took what I had to give him and left. Very nice and patient delivery guy.
Pizza wasn’t even that spectacular. Incredibly garlicky and the sauce for cheese sticks was spicy. Never going back to them again.

Ironically their pizza is one of the only things at this restaurant that is not delicious.
Their pizza is comparable to freezer pizza.
Their bubba bread is addicting, their shakes are awesome, and their cinnamon sticks are mind blowing!
My boyfriend and I finally found a decent pizza here that goes by the name «Barney Fife». It’s a white pizza with chicken and tomato.
Unfortunately I had to only rate 3 stars because at the end of the day they are a pizza place, and most of their pizza is horrible.

We ordered this pizza and it sucks!
Here is why:
1. They would not honor the coupon listed on their website — charged us $ 3.00 more than it was listed for.
2. The driver arrived 1 hour and 20 minutes later
3. The pizza was under cooked and cold. The toppings on the pizza we ordered were wrong and scarce.
4. The driver forgot one of the items that we ordered.
5. There was a $ 5 delivery fee that they didn’t tell us about — but charged us for when the pizza arrived at our door.
You’d be better off eating anything but this pizza — seriously… anything!

In the interest of full disclosure, I can’t review the food here. I can, however, review their service, which was outstanding!
We ordered from Big Daddy’s Pizza at 1:34 in the morning after a wedding reception and going out afterwards. Needless to say, we were clearly ordering food in an attempt to stave off the inevitable hangover we would have the next morning. We had a flight SO early and knew we needed to eat something. Big Daddy’s sounded great!
We ordered and started watching TV… and apparently were down for the count. The delivery guy came, was knocking on our door, I was getting phone calls… we heard NONE of it. The next morning (ughhhh, I feel sick just thinking about it!) I listened to my voicemails and was mortified about what had happened. One of the voicemails was from Louise who, instead of being upset about us not answering, which she totally could have been, was super understanding. The voicemail said that they wanted us to know that they tried delivering and they didn’t want us to think that they didn’t, but we weren’t answering the door or our phone, so they were just going to cancel the order for us. She even wished us a good night. I felt horrible, but super impressed with Big Daddy’s commitment to customer service.
If I were in the area again, I would definitely order from Big Daddy’s (sober! And during the day!) They seem to be a great company, and I’m sad that we didn’t get to try some of their delicious food!
