I mistakenly posted a negative review yesterday for this Dickey’s location. I apologize to the GM/owner. Please see my profile to view the negative review for the Dickey’s location at Wadsworth and Colfax, which is NOT this location. I’ll try to delete this review.

The brisket was moist and Smokey. I liked it. They offer FREE ice cream too, that goes over pretty well with my 10 year old. I would recommend this joint but don’t expect any frills.

I was so pleased to see a Dickey’s open up in my area. I eat BBQ once or twice a week, so I decided to pop into this location. Afterwards, I was still so hungry, that I had to go into QDoba so I can actually eat. I have never seen such skimpy portions at a BBQ place in my life. When the server brought my plate, I seriously thought I had mistakenly ordered the kid’s meal. I even asked her, «is that it»? She said, «yep». When a guy wants to eat BBQ, he expects a meal, not a teasing snack. I have a feeling that the corporation who owns Dickey’s sent out an email telling them to reduce the portions and weigh everything. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to stick to the other BBQ places in my rotation. I will say the food tasted great at Dickey’s, but the portions are way too small compared to what you can get elsewhere. If you want a great BBQ snack at the price of a full meal, this is the place. If you want great BBQ taste and generous portions at the same price, go to Famous Dave’s Brother’s, or Big Hoss. Sorry Dickey’s, looks like our relationship is over.
