Had the worse service with my brother, his wife, and I. The food tasted like it wasn’t fresh ingredients. The food seemed like they messed up while making it and tried to fix it last minute. For the price of the food it better be worth it. It was just an all around bad experience. Horrible service and horrible food. Highly Do not recommend.

Went there for a bday dinner with a big group of friends(about 15 of us). Food and drinks were great. Staff was very attentive, even when we asked to change tables. And the cherry on top was our waiter Adam, who always came to our table with a big smile and even a joke. He made the entire table laugh and made our night even better. The bday girl had a blast too. With this great service, we will definitely return.

Only come in for the drinks! Margaritas are strong and a must! The food isn’t that good. We tried the pasta which needed salt & flavor! Like I said the drinks are the only reason we stop by.

I’ve eaten here in the past and always have a good experience. Yes, they can get busy but your food comes our fresh so that may take some time. Sit and enjoy the company you’re with while your wait. I ordered the Crispy Teriyaki Chicken to go. First time ordering to go… it was even better than when I order it at the restaurant. Well put together, plenty of rice and the chicken was great! I highly recommend the E Bar!!!

Last Saturday, my husband and I decided to try the Elephant Bar for the first time. BIG, MISTAKE! The waitress gave us our menu and said, «I’ll be right back» she never did. We waited almost twenty minutes and decided to take our business somewhere else.

Samantha served us and was great! Will ask for her table again! Very attentive and friendly. The menu here is nice. A lil something for everyone! I love the Mongolian beef.(No kidding)! And their burgers are delicious! I only ate ½ of one. Mac n cheese is one of their special sides. I love the atmosphere but it’s ALWAYS too cold. Thank God for their bold coffey! A+

Disappointment. Nothing good about this place It’s dirty. Bad service. And over priced. Took forever to received our food then they didn’t bring us utensils, waited about 10min. I think I’d get better service a hometown buffet.

We’re looking for a place to have brunch and found a gift card for the elephant bar. I had never been here before but I decided to give it a try. It was a Saturday afternoon, but the restaurant didn’t seem too busy. Décor(5⁄5) This place was well put together. The decorations went with the theme of the restaurant perfectly. Everything from the wall art in the waiting area to the gear driven fans on the ceiling, the faux trees, and the suitcases against the back wall made us feel like we had stepped into a restaurant in the savanna. Service(3⁄5) The overall service was sub-par at best. This was due in NO part to our waitress who was attentive and amazing. When my drink was low, she brought out a refill. She also made arrangements to get us a birthday brownie. The service score took hits here because when we walked in, it took us 15 minutes to see a host. There was nobody else in line, the host just wasn’t at the podium. We were asked if we had been helped by a bus boy and a bartender before we finally got a face to face interaction with a host. After we were seated our server took our order very quickly, but the cooks took 45 minutes to bring our food out even with our server checking on our food twice. The restaurant was severely understaffed for the amount of patrons. There were 2 servers and 1 host, but I counted at least 13 tables with around 46 people in the restaurant. Food(2⁄5) We ordered strawberry lemonade, but there were no real strawberries. It was just a lemonade mix. The plates were hot and the food was barely lukewarm. In some cases this is because the food was sitting under the heat lamp for a long time. We got the lettuce wraps, calamari, loaded mashed potatoes, and the chicken breast. The brown rice was very dry and the avocado was browning. The chicken wasn’t dry and the lemon was a great addition to bring out the taste of the meal. The loaded potatoes were chunky and were drenched in oil. I couldn’t even taste the bacon over the oil. The BACON, ohh god, how could you do that to the BACON?! Price(4⁄5) The prices were reasonable for the portions. We order far more than we can or wanted to finish and a lot of that was because of the large portions provided. The bill for everything came out to be about $ 50 dollars. We did a 20 percent tip because the server tried her best and with the situation stacked against her still managed to come out on top, but we probably won’t be coming back.

Came here for lunch today. The service was pretty much non existent. Got my drinks refilled only after having to ask. The restaurant was completely empty but it seems the staff was more concerned about holding a conversation with someone visiting the restaurant. Also, overhearing the employees talk about a coworker and how’s she’s «a slut and is stupid.» Is pretty annoying when I can’t even get a refill on my drink. Food was mediocre and over priced. I got the Parmesan chicken and shrimp and it was flavorless and boring. I could make better food at home. Best part was the cookie dessert which doesn’t really require much effort or culinary skill for that matter.

First off, I was having one of the worst days ever until I arrived at elephant bar for dinner. Thankfully our server Adam made our night out 10 times better with his charming personality and humorous jokes. His beverage recommendation of the mango swirl and the service is something I would definitely go back for.

I’m excited to hear that they will be bringing Sunday Brunch to my favorite Restaurant soon. How about adding a big screen TV outside as well, so we don’t miss any of the Sport action? How about bringing a live band during the weekends to liven things up? Who wouldn’t want to relax in the patio listening to awesome music? I know that I would. How about you? Come on EBAR, make your place the hippest in Lakewood! Bring on the mimosa’s on Sunday’s. Wings and flat bread Pizza on game day and Live music on the weekends…

I haven’t tried their food at this location but they have a really good happy hour here. $ 4 import beers and $ 5 cocktails after 9pm to close EVERY night! And appetizers are about $ 3 off which is about 30−40% off. They do sell shots but it was not discounted during happy hour which is weird. On Mondays they have half off maitai all day too. Service: Service here can be slow though when it gets busy. Another favorite thing I like about this place is that they didn’t rush us even though we were there for almost 3 hours. Very easy going atmosphere. Parking: plenty of parking in the same lot as B Dubs and target.

Located a pebble’s toss from the Lakewood Mall amid a plethora of franchise eateries sits«Elephant Bar»… which personifies itself as being a mixture of Rainforest Café’, Outback Steakhouse, PF Changs, Lucille’s,… and well, everything else within the rainforest to be frank. Ya’ know?, I used to swear by this place as «Happy Hour» was the next ‘great’ thing beyond the resurrection of Christ. From crab cakes down to the chicken lettuce wraps, the food and drinks rarely came up short. Way’ll… The funniest thing happened upon my having«branched out» a bit and explored other eateries. Call it an epiphany but I learned to expect more when dishing over my hard earned monies and with that into consideration, this place serves«bland» on a platter leaving me absolutely underwhelmed. Service, while initially superb, is now completely hit or miss at this joint. I’ve seen wait times exceed 20 minutes when there is NOONEINSIDE and I’ve even walked in to notice there to be no host(ess) present only to seat myself in the befitted bar area just to later on be informed mid-order that I’d need to return to entry simply to have said«phantom» host(ess) seat me. That blows in terms of customer service and it, alongside their choice to discontinue a number of popular items(crab cakes) all the while increasing prices leads me to question their marketing ploy. Backtracking however… I REALLY can’t for the love of God, wrap my mind around the concept that this place is attempting to convey. What type of Pan-Asian place serves jambalaya??? Allow me to answer that. An AMERICANIZEDONE. This restaurant is all over the place and the thought of their concept is all the more confusing. Seriously… What’s next? Hot wings?(sighs…) I just can’t…smfh. Per my sentiments, this place warrants a solid TWO(2) stars: 1, for their«Happy Hour» and the 2nd, for their location. Bearing in mind the inundation of additional chain establishments all located upon Candlewood alone, once you depart this joint in an inebriated yet disappointed state of mind, at least you’ll sober up in time enough to make your way elsewhere to further toss away your duckets’.
