Gorgeous Grounds Coffee

I’m normally really happy with the coffee and service here. The girls are super nice and respectful, but today I ordered an iced coffee as usual, and received a kind of cold ice less coffee. It also didn’t taste as good. I usually love this place which is why I gave it three stars but today was not up to par at all.

Non creepy. The gal seemed very nice and was very cordial. As strange as that may sound, it is not always the norm. Coffee seemed good, but a little on the sugary side for my taste.

Wednesday scarf day!

Gorgeous Grounds is a bikini barista coffee stand located in the parking lot of Bucky’s Muffler shop at the corner of Lakeview and 100^th Street. Of course the girls are wearing bikinis or lingerie and are beautiful and friendly, but the coffee is really the reason to go. They get their beans from a high-​quality local roaster and pride themselves on the way each cup tastes. I stop by here at least once a week to get a latte or something awesome, but regulars pop by every day for the awesome (and inexpensive) drip coffee and a bowl of hot oatmeal or cereal.
If you are feeling brave, they have a crazy item they will make for you (I forget what they call it): it’s like a Café Americano, but instead of 3 shots of espresso mixed with 16 ounces of hot water, you get 3 shots of espresso mixed with 16 ounces of drip coffee. This thing made my heart beat so fast it was a little scary. I didn’t blink all day. If you need a morning wake-​up, that’s your drink.
If that’s too edgy for you, try the white coffee (yum).
