The reason why I am giving 4 — stars is that their ham taste so good and their turkey taste so good. However, the prices are ridiculous and I can get same prices with bigger size ham and turkey and not these small pieces. Not only that there was more fat than meat on their ham which disappointed me. The fat should only be a little bit not almost quarter of it.

5 STARS!!! Best service I’ve ever had. This was our first time here and Kristian was very helpful. She was very nice and professional. She offered us samples and even brought different samples to our table. This was a great way for us to try new things and figure out what we liked. I can’t think of the last time I’ve had service this good. Bravo!

Omg, I’m so glad Honey Baked isn’t only available on holidays. This café has awesome sandwiches, great little selection of accompaniments, their signature sides and even full on dinner plates. I had a Ham sandwich on squaw bread with cream corn and a salad for under 8 bucks. And the ham is to die for…

First, a huge compliment to Samantha at HoneyBaked of Lakewood, CA. She was pleasant, professional and lovely to speak with… and just the same in person when you meet her with a bright, sunny smile. We had about 30 people to feed for a luncheon and Samantha made the perfect suggestions. My husband and I picked up the food on Saturday for our Sunday event (they are closed on Sunday). The sandwiches kept perfectly overnight. We ordered a mixture of sandwich platters including mini croissants and a mixture of bread with ham, turkey, and roast beef — and a vegetable crudités platter. Tip: Have the condiments on the side including their dill pickles and pepperoncinis — this way your guests can build their sandwich to their liking.
Everything was DELICIOUS and well received. Everyone raved about our spread. We will definitely be back to this location again soon. You should, too, as you will not be disappointed!

Just had a sandwich while I was waiting for the bus and omg it was amazing! My taste buds have never tingled in such a manner before. Loved it!

HAM! HONEYBAKED HAM! What’s not to like, you know what your getting and it’s always delicious. I will blast them on the products they sell in store, we found some extremely expired items and one jar of something I don’t remember what it was but it was dried up in the jar, I think it was salsa, it looked nasty, we did not buy anything except for the ham. We did bring it to the managers attention. They did not seem to concerned. I would not buy the extras they sell. To many expired things for such a tiny store. Poor management.

Horrible!!! Don’t order the turkey breast… Looks like processed meat. I was told it was a real turkey breast! $ 8.99/lb… What a joke! I want my $ 55 back

Hello everyone, and this review is for the HoneyBaked Ham the day before CHRISTMAS EVE on 3 of their amazing workers that i had the privilege of speaking to.
My experience: i have never been to this store before. I tasted the ham at work, and i loved it. So i decided to purchase a ham for 2 people the day before christmas eve. From other reviews it is true that the store is full (but it service is fast) and cars are constantly coming out from their parking. it is a bit chaotic.
Parking: there is someone their that is helping the traffic and helping cars move along.
inside the store: This was my first time here and i was overwhelmed immediately, i almost wanted to turn back around.
LUCY greeted me and helped me out. She heard my story and i felt so much better. we decided what ham would be best for my sister and me. i was so relieved. she was then kind enough to point out the shortest line. besides talking to LUCY the purchase itself was less than 10 minutes. it was so fast. But it was just nice to have someone listen.
Cashier: CHRISTIAN and MELANY were also so helpful.
LUCY had helped me become informed and find out what item would be best for my christmas dinner. CHRISTIAN and MELANY found the most affordable ham. They were knowledgeable and very kind and sympathized with my experience.
Summary: my experience was fabulous and i was blown away at the professionalism that these girls had.
They are a great workers and HoneyBaked is lucky to have workers like them. Not only them but everyone else in the other cashiers were fast with their work and people were leaving happy (this is from my observations that day in the morning).
i found this to be amazing, because at such a difficult time for them as workers during the holiday season cannot be easy, but thank you for making my experience calm, and fun.
i will be definitely coming back.

Came here a few days before Thanksgiving! It was a mad house but the line moved quickly and we were outta there in a timely manner. Staff was quick and had great teamwork. Many customers weren’t so nice so I applaud the employees on their great customer service skills!

Every holiday we buy a Honey Baked Ham. Why? Because it’s always the HIT of the gathering.
And because of their corny TV commercial. We look for it. We laugh at the corny come on. We look forward to a ham «that’s better than your mama made.»
Over the years we bought one dud. The sugar coating hadn’t properly melted. We ate it anyway and it was deliciously. .. the perfect blend of sweet, tender, juicy pork.
The holiday crowds. Try as we might to avoid lines it’s not always possible, especially when you go a day or two before the holiday. Getting into the parking lot can be avoided by parking across the street at the Lakewood mall, or two other strip malls (Chipotle on one corner, JoAnn’s Crafts on the other). Probably totally illegal but alleviates some frustration. This Lakewood store has the tiniest parking lot. When they anticipate large crowds there’s always a traffic patrol officer directing traffic. Yes, it gets that serious. At least one person at the Entrance, another at the Exit.
Call ahead to order your ham or turkey and you can enter the showroom with your sales number. No waiting to get a sales number. You’ll need one at the counter.
Inside the showroom seems like a madhouse, but the lines go fast and there’s lots of good natured banter exchanged between customers and sales staff. People who work there have the patience of Job. These, mostly seasonal workers, are helpful and accommodating.
So when you see the commercial featuring happy customers who are «buying me a honey baked ham.» Believe them. The service is exemplary. The product is «yummerlicious.»

Love this place. Went there today, amidst the craziness! The line moved pretty quickly. Half expected Seinfeld’s soup man to come out. What an operation.

I had a roast beef sandwich lunch combo from here a couple of months ago. It consisted of a roast beef sandwich, a bag of chips, and a drink. Great stuff! One of the best deli sandwiches I’ve ever had to this day. The chips were fantastic as well! Between that and Beyond Bread in Tucson, AZ (which was a clear-​cut 5 stars from me), it’s hard to decide who makes the better sandwiches. If I really had to make a choice, I’d have to give the edge to Beyond Bread because my choice of bread on my Honeybaked roast beef sandwich wasn’t as good as the bread I was given for my sandwich at Beyond Bread. Still, it’s another clear-​cut 5 stars from me.
I also had a taste of their scalloped potatoes while volunteering at the Taste of Lakewood during the Lakewood Block Party last month. The weather outside that evening was surprisingly much cooler than I thought, and I definitely didn’t prepare for such cold weather, especially on a summer night! However, their scalloped potatoes were pretty much my cup of hot chocolate that night for me, and it was only two tickets at the Taste of Lakewood! Alongside a plate of street tacos from Chronic Tacos, the scalloped potatoes gave me enough energy to volunteer the rest of the night as a ticket collector, which got incredibly hectic during the last hour of the block party (at least at the booth I was working at)!
Definite recommend!

Most people think of them for Holiday dinners. However, they also have a café. The food is good, the service is great, and the atmosphere is quiet and nice. This place is a hidden gem and is usually not that busy. If you work close by it’s a great place to stop by for lunch as they are not open past 5:00 p.m. The prices are about average and they give you a lot of food. The food is delicious no matter what you order.

I am eating here right now. It’s as if I’ve died and gone to Heaven. This croissant is the bread of the Gods. I never want to leave. Wrap me up in a croissant and leave me here forever.

I had the tavern club from the café today and it was delicious! I got it on a croissant. The guy at the counter was helpful in helping me decide and was knowledgeable about the menu

We tried lunch here today for the first time. It was good! Sandwiches are all very reasonably priced between $ 6.50-$ 7.50.
I got the Italian and mine was stuffed with meat! Turkey, ham and salami. Hubby got the honeybaked ham classic and about ¹⁄₃ the amount of meat. both $ 6.50.
Side orders are a few bucks. Chips and fountain drinks and desserts (cookies and brownies) are all about a buck fifty. For $ 20 we had it all and it was a nice lunch.
PS: squaw bread is the bomb!!!

This is the best Honey Baked location I have been to. The workers here are actually pleasant and polite! That alone makes me want to return here. Other locations have terrible service… The food is wonderful, just as you would expect!

I was around the area scouting for places to eat. I’ve only had their ham once at a party and didn’t know they had a deli/​café.
I walked into the restaurant (nice and clean) and took a glance at their menu. I decided to try the Tavern Club on a croissant with a side of potato chips. The sandwich is topped with Turkey, Bacon, Ham, Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, and sweet mustard. I was only missing a pickle (I should have asked).
I decided to dine-​in after placing my order and the lady advised that she would bring the sandwich to me along with a cup of water.
The sandwich was delicious. It reminds me of a place back home (Heavenly Ham). The staff was also kind and friendly. I will definitely be back again for lunch.

So after all this time, they still get 5.

So this is what I just witnessed today when I was in here buying lunch. This guy comes in after me and apparently he had an order to go but they made his sandwich wrong. He returned to have this mistake fixed. According to him, he spoke to them on the phone and they told him to come back and they would not only make him TWO new sandwiches, but ALSO refund his money. The lady here excused herself to talk to who I assume is the manager or the one that spoke to him on the phone. She comes back and says she was told she can give him either a refund or get him a new sandwich. The guy insists on a new sandwich AND a refund. The lady here handles the situation pretty well and basically tells him it’s ok, apologizes about the mistake and gives him a sandwich and his money back. Ludacris if you ask me. Ok so they made your sandwich «wrong». How can anyone in their right mind expect money back AND another sandwich (he actually wanted TWO more) AND he got to keep the original one!
So, bottom line, 5* service for smoothly handling this kind of ridiculousness.
