This is just like mama used to make it! Mama Mia! It was a great meatball sandwich! Super friendly owner and food came New York quick! When in the area stop by here you will enjoy it!

The food is fresh and so good. It is like it is home made. Must come and eat here. Support mom and pop restaurants

I’ve always passed by this deli seeing their daily deals but never bothered to go in until I decided to give it a try! Let me tell you, their customer service was so genuine and the guy was pretty funny. We ordered to go, a chicken Parmesan along with spaghetti. Both were so delicious and the sauce! It was so good and delicious. They both came with garlic bread and 2 soups. ⁵⁄₅ recommend this place!

Been here for couple times, small place, but they make really good sub sandwiches. I recommend it if you wanna grab a good and fast bite.

I’m not from the area and Unilocaled to find a lunch place because my son was volunteering at Restore — Habitat for Humanity (which is, of course, a great cause and you should volunteer).
There’s no pretending with Ricci’s. This is not a restaurant trying to be a top LA restaurant — but based on what I tasted it, it could be. I can’t imagine that you’d be going to Bellflower to experience this restaurant, but I sort of think we all should.
It’s a small place with a retail store in front. The server wears a soccer jersey and calls out for his momma to help him serve because there are too many people in the restaurant. And, it’s so comfortable, warm and authentic.
Next, order the most delicious sub sandwich, which will exceed your expectations of what a sandwich can be. Served open-​faced, overfull, with a pile of yummy lettuce tossed with a dressing, succulent cheese and meat, I only wish that I could duplicate it.

Great family owned Italian restaurant! The service is excellent, the food is delicious. We particularly enjoy the pizzas, but the spaghetti & meatballs and shells with butter and cheese are also favorites. The owners, Leonard and Silvana, make a point of delivering personal service. Their boys, Marko and Bruno, are pleasant and polite. We love this restaurant and recommend it highly.

This was my first time dining here, usually we pick up the order to go. The food was spectacular (no surprise) and the customer service was top notch. I will definitely be bringing others to this restaurant. They go above and beyond… That’s why I wanted to leave this review.

Let’s see, where do I start! This place has really bad service, along with bad food. The lady that waited our table was rude. The «minestrone soup» tasted right out of the can, all they did was thrown in some carrots with peel to cover up the can taste. The lasagna «mystery meat» was disgusting also had the straight out of the can, high school cafeteria taste. The calzon almost had no meat and it was piled with lettuce.

It’s really good, best chicken soup I have ever ate in Long Beach I’d say. In my opinion, but after that you get the salad with choices of caesar, ranch, Italian dressing. I believe there’s more but I forgot lol
And also he gives you some bomb ass garlic bread, and the spot makes you feel like your eating on air with Tony Soprano. I believe the waiter was Italian too, my husband got lasagna and I got ravioli The sauce was okay, but customer service was excellent! Man i wish people can go there more it was empty when we went. We also got ice cream at the end of our food we chose vanilla it was good I think it’s freshly made by him, he looks like the owner. And then we got canoli’s like fat asses lol to me they were very good but my husband didn’t really enjoy them like I did.

fair enough, for all of it but I’d recommend just get the a la carte instead cause you’ll be full with that.

I order the Chicken parmigiana meal with spaghetti. The chicken was a frozen patty shaped with a horrible Mariana sauce. The chef asked me what do you think I said it was not good at all. Then I told him I am a chef and have ran 4 Italian restaurants as Executive Chef. So he brought a small dish of what he said was bolognese sauce which is a meat sauce. I said where is the beef and he said its in there and I said no its not.
They were a few very small specs of meat and that was it. Well this food is not good at all and when I was there at 12:00 Pm on Monday it was dead and he was watching TV when I came.
Not worth going back!!!

This was the first time I went to Ricci’s and the reason I went was because I saw the reviews.
I loved it! The pizza was delicious and the staff was the friendliest I have encountered at a restaurant.
I cannot wait to go back.

The bread is great the lemon chicken soup was really good but I was not liking the pasta sauce and the Alfredo sauce lacked flavor

The best pizza in Bellflower. Period.
Try this place and you will stop going to Papa Johns and Dominos Pizza. I promise.
Perfect amount of topping and the sauce tastes like pizza sauce used to back in the day.
Don’t wait to try this place and regret not doing it later.

My family and I went out to eat at our favorite Italian restaurant Ricci’s the other night and while we were placing our order we found out that after 75 years at the same location they could be closing.
After talking with the owners some more it sound like big business is trying to gobbling up the little guy.
The food chain Golden Corral just recently built a new restaurant directly across the street from Ricci’s and since their opening traffic has worsened in the area off the 91 fwy at Bellflower Blvd.
I understood that there are now plans to widen the off and on ramps to the freeway and the lot that Ricci’s sits on will be greatly reduced.
This is a total shame if there is anything you could do to save this restaurant I am sure the community would greatly appreciated.

Their service is very friendly and I love the small business, family owned style of restaurant. I have had their calzone but find that it can be very doughy and lacking in the toppings and cheese, but they do have flavorful dough. I really love their meatball sub and since this place is down the street from my office it’s easy to pick one up! I have also tried their fettuccine and find its missing that sharp Parmesan flavor, but maybe that’s just me! I need to try their pizza! Looking at the pics on Unilocal is making me hungry…

They treat all their customers like family… always nice and warm (and not in a fake insincere way like most chains).
The food is consistantly good and tasty. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended.
