I think Souper Salad at this location is closed. It was definitely closed last Sunday at noon when we went there for lunch. And it looked permanently closed. I only gave the 5 stars because Unilocal wouldn’t let me post my review without the star rating. And our family liked it because it was close to us, inexpensive, fast, and reasonably fresh healthy food to choose from! I loved the gingerbread and my mom loves the chocolate pudding.

Wow… this place has really gone downhill. I went there today around 530pm and while paying had to listen to an employee on the company phone have a personal conversation. Normally I don’t mind but when you say«oh shit»(especially while wearing a management shirt) into the phone when a customer is in front of you I think it just lacks respect. In eating, I had to dig for fresh lettuce in the salad bar because a lot of the salad had turned into that slimy brown texture(which is pretty sad for a SALAD place) Almost all the items were empty or old. Everything had obviously been sitting for a long time. The tomatoes were disgusting and the bread had been sitting out for a while because it was completely hard. Even though this place is cheaper, I still expect food to be out and in good condition or at least refilled. While we were sitting down we observed a number of gross things the staff was doing to the salad buffet. The manager was touching food and utensils with her bare hands and she actually threw food that was on the dirty surface back into the container… seriously? Then we watched the guy who was in charge of filling the containers wipe his nose with his bare hands and then began moving the food around without gloves on. On top of that he was refilling the dressing containers and used the same spatula for scraping the bottom of the containers. I’m not sure if he has heard the word cross contamination but they obviously dont care here. We were so disgusted that we left without finishing our food. It was a waste of money and I will never return to this location again. Once we got home, we read their health report out of curiosity and one thing they got marked down on was the dirtiness of their kitchen area and the mold they had growing in their ice machine. They obviously do not care about cleanliness, about following regulations or about satisfying their customers.

The ice cream was extremely cold. Sugar Ray and other 90’s hits played on the radio. Overall satisfied.

I LOVEDMYEXPERIENCEWITHNEWMANAGEMENT! NEWMANAGEMENT has made INCREDIBLEIMPROVEMENTS! Fresh foods, great ingredients, soups are very good, solid lines are kept clean. Thank you for bringing super salad back to what it should be! Over the past 12 years we had tried several locations of super salad, but found the Colorado stores were very poorly run, dirty, bad food. Please give it I try if you haven’t tried this location in the last several Months. DRASTICALLYIMPROVED!

No. Just no. When we arrived there was no one at the counter, had to wait for service for a few minutes. Then the food at the buffet looked like it had been sitting for way too long. I was starving so I ate it anyway. The tables were all dirty, had a hard time finding a place to sit. Then when we did, it took a while to get our drinks. Don’t recommend visiting this restaurant.

I was not impressed with this location. I had to sort through the lettuce to find fresh pieces, the ice cream machine was broken, and the Mac & cheese tasted funny. But, the servers were nice and the cashier gave us a free drink without needing me to find the coupon.

Okay this place is a buffet. Is it the best? No. Is it worth the 7ish dollars? Yes. For what you get it is a great place to grab a quick healthy lunch. No lines, just zip in, zip out.

This location has been taken over by new owners and is vastly improving. They still have a few kinks to work out, yes it would be nice if both sides of the buffet offered the same items so you don’t have to reach, but they are coming along nicely. The new decorations are coming along nicely. I went today and tried a little of each of the soups. They were excellent. My waitress continually made sure my table was cleared and my water was filled before the first one was even empty. The female owner was seen everywhere, making certain that everything was full on the buffet line, the taco line, the soup line and the baked goods, pizza and potato lines were all full and everything that was supposed to be hot was hot and everything that was supposed to be cool was cool. I have seen the servers, kitchen personnel, buffet«filler» all doing their jobs to an exceptional degree. It is coming from a really run down restaurant to one I plan on visiting every week with the new ownership. A 100% turnaround. Congratulations and Best of Luck!!!

Awful service, awful management, food was ok. We went in there for lunch today and never got drinks. We ordered waters and the server got 5 other tables that had came in after us their drinks but never brought ours. I asked 4 times to get 2 waters and even after saying she would be right out with them she came back empty handed. I asked to speak to the manager and he came out and said I don’t have time to talk to you and walked away. I came home and called and he seem to find a second to show he could care less that we didn’t receive our drinks and as I was talking to him he just hung up on me. I do not recommend this place… there are better places to spend your money!

3 meals for $ 24? How can you complain. The owner mans the cash register and is very personable. Definitely a good place for family, for grandmas and for full bellies

Pretty decent to or a quick Self Service lunch staff seems moderately friendly good place to fit in on a weekend while running errands and shopping with the family

Will never eat here again. I’m not sure what happened to this place. I went in for a late lunch at about 2, and the place was mostly dead. The salad bar seemed ok, but nothing to write home about. The hot food area left a lot to be desired. What really got me that the place was empty and there was food all over the floors, empty trays left on tables and two employees in the front just chatting away oblivious to the disgusting mess all over the restaurant.

Mediocre food and that’s being optimistic. There were loud teenagers close by cursing and there was an old couple right behind them that I felt bad for, being forced to hear that crap. Normally I wouldn’t blame that on the restaurant except for the fact that the manager was joking around and basically hanging out with them and making it worse. Save your hard earned money and go somewhere else.

This place used to be awesome but I have no clue what’s happened. Complaints are as follows: *Rind in the honeydew melon *Rotten tomatoes Utensils at the salad bar. Can’t reach across so u have to walk entirely around or stick your head under sneeze guard which is a health code isdue. It’s mot hard to have 2 sets of utensils facing both ways. *Its April. Why are the windows still painted for Christmas? Really? REALLY?!

I really liked this place when we first discovered it. The service was good and the food was fresh. Things seemed to go downhill though. It’s never very clean and there’s always a ton of people every time we go. The last time we went there, there were about 5 unoccupied tables but they were littered with dirty trays and dishes. We wandered around the whole place with our food and then had to ask a server to clean off a table for us. The salad bar is relatively good, but everything for the hot bar is terrible. The«pizza» resembles a cheap Totinos frozen pizza that was left in the oven way too long. The baked potatoes have been sitting under a heat lamp all day and taste as such and the taco bar is always a mess. I question how sanitary the taco bar is as well because I always see little kids helping themselves. The only good thing from the hot bar is the breadsticks, but apparently we’re not the only ones who felt that way because they decided to start cutting them in half. We wanted to use the soft serve machine but it was not working properly. We were standing there with empty bowls trying to figure out how to get it to work and employees were just passing right by us and even started cleaning off our table! We just put the bowls down and left. I’m not sure what caused this change, but Souper Salad really needs to reevaluate some of its choices before I go back.

I definitely Recommend signing up for the Souper Salad Club. You get Half off on your first visit with the coupon. Not sure why the low reviews you know what to expect by going into it. And its 6.00 not a 40 Dollar Buffet in Las Vegas. All The Salads were fresh, and none turning brown. The Salad Buffet Line was clean and always stocked. Plates were clean never a shortage of silverware. The Coleslaw was creamy Like a Midwesterner is used too. Had my usual Fare, of Sweet Potatoes and The Tacos and then Putting taco Meat in a bowl and making a salad. No Complaints on the Mac And Cheese and The Cheese and Broccoli soup. They were filling and tasty. My Sprite never sat unfilled on my table. Made Strawberry Shortcake, the bread was fresh whipped crème was good and the strawberries were fresh in the glaze. And a Sundae with Chocolate sauce. I say Give it another shot. :) Til Next Time Happy Eating.

«Man, I’m hungry, and there’s no food in the house.» «We’re pretty broke right now.» «Souper Salad?» Yeah, that’s how every conversation goes, prior to eating here. This is not deluxe, people. And, for the price, who could really expect it to be? It’s cheaper to eat here than to get a McDonald’s value meal, and I’ll still take this place, anytime. It is what it is, and what it is is sometimes pretty gross. The soups are liquid salt licks, the bread is either ridiculously sweet or very dry. The pizza… well, let’s not even call it that. Just do yourself a favor, and pass that by. Sometimes, I like to throw some nacho chips in a bowl, top it with ground beef and cover it in cheese. But, warning, the ground beef doesn’t taste like ground beef and the cheese sure as hell doesn’t taste like cheese. I don’t know exactly what’s going on there, but it’s no bueno. Couldn’t even eat it today. The cheese was sweet. Like, what is that? The salad bar, itself, really isn’t half bad. Relatively decent selection of stuff, and the times I’ve been there, things weren’t that messy. The frozen yogurt is meh and the«whipped topping» they give you is Cool Whip. Straight up Cool Whip. But, what’s the alternative? Sweet Tomatoes? I mean, true, Sweet Tomatoes is much higher quality, but it certainly isn’t really good for a tight budget. Bottom line, if you’re hungry(or stoned), and you only have some pocket change, hit this place up. It’s not the worst food you’ll ever eat. But, it isn’t good, either.

All I wanted was a salad. When my husband suggested this place I should have listened to my gut which was telling me «salad bar? Run!» I didn’t. We went. It was gross. The lettuce looked old and wilted. The toppings were okay I guess, but nothing special. My husband’s «enchilada soup» tasted like vomit. For a man who’ll eat just about anything, he couldn’t eat that, or his pizza and tacos(this was the first time I’ve seen him refuse either). The best part of the lunch was the runny frozen yogurt at the end. God it was bad.
