Working early mornings in downtown Denver can be rough. You’re either fighting the snow/sleet/rain/wind or, let’s be honest, you are just at work early in the morning and I for one am NOT a morning person. But Park Central Cafeteria makes my days so much better! Not only do they offer amazing breakfasts for very reasonable prices in comaprison to competitors in the area, the staff there is very friendly as well! I’ve been eating breakfasts and lunches here for about two years now and recommend it to anyone in the downtown area looking for great food during breakfast or lunch hours. To be honest, I should’ve written this review A LONG time ago, but I’ve only recently joined Unilocal.I got to talking with a few of my coworkers today, though, about how this hidden gem doesn’t get enough attention or credit for the quality of place it is and so I decided to do something about it! The only thing holding this place back is the tough location. It is located in the Bridgepoint Plaza building on the second floor across from Tilted Kilt and so it doesn’t get a ton of visibility from your average Joe walking around downtown Denver. BUT if you do happen to be lucky enough to give this amazing establishment a visit I’d have to recommend the BLT on jalapeño bread or the santa fe salad with grilled chicken — both are to die for! Or visit their other location in the lobby, The Evil Bean for amazing coffee drinks and also the BEST gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches around! I will definitely continue to visit as it has become my go-to breakfast and lunch place in Denver during the work week!

This is now known as the Evil Bean. Good smoothies.

Good for your breakfast or lunch on the run. Everything is really greasy but tastes good. I love their breakfast quesadillas and burritos! Like I said, greasy but good!

What I had? Ham and cheddar cheese omelet Food review: OK… so this«dish» is rather simple and there’s not a lot to it but the ham and cheese omelet has been a favorite of mine ever since I was a young’n. All one needs to do is not screw it up and I’m quite happy. :-) They make a fine H&C omelet here. The eggs are browned up a bit(which I like cuz some places tend to runny areas of an omelet). The ham is thinly slice(like lunch meat) which I prefer over cubed pieces. It’s simply yummy and at not a bad price too. Service? Still friendly Other thoughts: Need to remember to call ahead next time. Omelets do take quite a bit of time to make.
