The Mixed Taste Event!
Like a wine tasting this is a pairing of two intellectual experiences. Two unaffiliated subjects become parallel for a 30 minute tease in each category. Chinese opera singers are followed by Hitchcock historians. A Walt Whitman lecture is trailed by a documentary on whole hog BBQ. The concept is fresh and titillating. In a loft style forum that holds two hundred, philanthropists socialize with filmmakers, artists encounter photographers, graphic designers converse with playwrights, and everyone associates with tidbits of food and plenty of cocktails.
This is an inspired networking event pulsing with the pleasure of new discoveries. On certain nights an After Taste is offered where socializing and dining pursue the program. This atmosphere is ripe with conversation and new connections. Held every Thursday at 6 pm. with one more Mixed Taste left in this season– Marxism & Kittens, Kittens, Kittens, presented by Gillian Silverman and The Denver Dumb Friend League. An After Taste is also offered. The Lab is the place to be and this last lecture is a don’t miss event. Make sure to pre-​register on-​line because it will quickly sell out.
