The Ranch. I’d say this place has an awesome menu of the standard breakfast fare.
I have no complains about my French Sunrise. It was French toast and two over easy eggs. Well prepared and delicious. The bacon was crunchy. I’m satisfied.
The waitress was something else. Cutting people off when they’re talking is a thing you shouldn’t do in general and especially when they’re ordering. Customer service hello? Bad day? Stay home.
I always say this: the staff makes or break the business. This lady broke it for me. There are so many places to dine and my guess is I’d rather go somewhere else. We’ll see.

Great breakfast specials before 10am. Good quality food. Love the home fries with skin. The ribeye steak, chopped steak and prime rib are excellent. All around great diner.

a disappointment. The food was unremarkable. The shredded beef was a chunk of beef. The fries were not «great» as the waitress insisted — just frozen fries I could buy at the grocery store. No substitions were allowed. The service was very poor and there was no crowd. Maybe when they get a liquor licence the food quality and service won’t matter so much. Management was nice however and tried to make things better.

An old favorite, a new mess. No longer called cottage inn. Recently returned for breakfast, after a fairly long absence. Everything about the food had changed, and we found out that ownership had changed as well. Apparently the new owners have forgotten all about quality and freshness. Won’t go back

I was glad to see some interior changes to the old cottage inn, I was also glad to see some of the original staff still working there.
There were four of us & we all enjoyed our breakfast. I had the chicken fried steak and it was exactly as it was with the cottage inn, now that’s nothing horrible but I was hoping the new owner would change the menu up a bit, by change I mean flavor and more homemade.
They did physically change the menus & prices look about the same. All in all a good visit

Stopped here for lunch while on vacation. Food was good and service was friendly. A lot of regulars. New ownership. Locally owned. We met the owner, Hardi, and he was happy we had a good experience.

This is restruant has been purchased and reopened. I had the BEST prime rib there last night. very reasonally priced. Nothing like the previous owners.
