Took my daughter in because she wanted to learn to knit. Miss Sonya not only got us the right needles for little hands, but actually took the time to sit down with my girl, who has SPD, and showed her how. Everyone there is so patient with her and their products are top quality. The bonus was that when it was time to pay, it was less than I expected! Customer service, one on one experience, and great prices in one adorable shop! Love this place!

I really like this place, the laid back atmosphere and sitting room are very cozy and inviting. The staff is very helpful and they are more then up to helping you find any yarn or other item you might need. I love working crochet with lace, when I expressed that I was disappointed at the selection of lace weights I was assured that they would be ordering more and sure enough there was next time I went in. This place very definitely has my business.

Came to Yorkshire Yarns for the first time yesterday and was warmly greeted by the wonderful employee. Great little shop, went there to check it out and see what they had. I am new to knitting and was looking for a circular needle to get started. The clerk was very helpful and nice, she even greeted my dog who is a service dog. I will definitely go back to get some yarn and other supplies.

I went to Yorkshire Yarns after purchasing a coupon for a knitting class. When I arrived to the store at my scheduled time, I was told that the instructor was busy getting her oil changed and I would have to come back another time. I then told the employee that I lived over 90 minutes away and had received email notification regarding that scheduled class. She apologized and said there was nothing more she It was a very disappointing customer service experience. I would not recommend attending one of their classes as they seem to be a low priority for this store an it’s employees.

I am a new knitter. I have been to a few places in the area(Olympia Seattle and Portland). This place is by far the best with customer service. Even the other customers were lovely and helping me out! The living room I just sat and they all helped me out with my new project to get me started. I love it!!!

I absolutely love this place. Not only do they have a fantastic selection of yarn, the staff is amazing. They also keep a basket of toys in one of the rooms which makes shopping with my 3 year old even better. She loves going to the yarn store almost as much as I do!

This place is adorable and well stocked. I’m not a great knitter. I just like to make scarves here and there and I like really chunky yarn because it’s quick. ;) There was not a huge selection of chunky yarn, but I did find some Malabrigo yarn, which is my favorite, so I just picked up some of that instead. The person that was working, likely the owner, was really sweet and helpful even though she’d been working with someone in the shop with a project. It looks like there are classes there and a sitting room on the side that the classes may be held in? It looked comfy and cozy.

I started coming to this place on Monday’s, to the Hooks & Needles club. I’ve only gone 3 times with my Mother, but the women there make you feel so welcome it’s like you’ve been going for months. I’m still new to crocheting, and it’s so lovely to get help from ladies who have been doing needle work for years. The shop itself is fantastic. And they only sell top of the line yarns. I’m still learning about the different thread sizes, as I’m new to this but this is a wonderful place to learn. Everything is laid out perfectly. Oh! They offer classes if you go to their website. I’m thinking about trying out the beginner knitting course.

They carry a variety of fibers and patterns, in a range of prices and skill levels. They have classes and knit-alongs to develop skills. They sponsor a Yarn Crawl, in conjunction with other shops in the area.

This is a fun shop! The owner is a blast! She has a fabulous selection of yarn – from very good, reasonably priced acrylics, a huge selection of Noro and sock yarn, and beautiful hand dyed yarns. She has lots of patterns and books. She does lots of social knitting groups and is always open to drop-in sitter/knitters. Even her newletter is fun to read.
