I woke yesterday with a dead smart phone. Thing wouldn’t charge. Having fought wars with other carriers in the past, I prepared for a battle royale with the manager. When I met James at the door I was immediately at ease. He actually listened and I didn’t just see dollar signs behind his eyes. He tested my phone and then walked me next door to the ATT Service Center. James explained my problem and asked the staff there(independent company from the sales team) to do what they could. On leaving James said told me if I didn’t get what I needed to come back to him for help. Jen and her coworker at the service center immediately tested the phone and agreed it was dead. Even though it had just run out of warranty, they replaced it. They were kind and very helpful. ATT may be a big company, but it continually proves to me that there are good people working there. Walked in there and asked to get my phone number transferred. Everything went downhill after I left. Two phones not working and no call or data available. Called AT&T customer service to have them help and even the lady on the phone mentioned how badly this person in the store messed up. I seriously think I was better off going somewhere else. I wasted more time than anything and got nothing accomplished in the store to end up being on the phone with AT&T for over an hour. Thanks a lot…

I was looking at iPhones here before I actually purchased and the salespeople seemed absolutely clueless. About anything. If you want an AT&T phone, go elsewhere. I decided to buy direct from apple.

This is where I used to take care of all my AT&T business. Husband and I had been 8 year users of AT&T with no issues until Dec 5, 2009. We went in for an upgrade to an Iphone and walked out with nothing except bad feelings. I’ll never go back to this location again. They had something different in the computer that what we were told and when we questioned it and tried to get an answer as to why, we were told«it’s what the computer said and if you have any other questions call customer service». Two weeks later and issue was still not solved to my satisfaction from AT&T customer service. Iphone isn’t worth the aggravation that AT&T caused me.
