BUSINESSCLOSING!!! This is my second time in. The first was for a tire repair. Employees never pay much attention to the customers an can be over heard making fun of clientele. No surprise they’re closing.

This bike shop is amazing! The staff’s super helpful and knowledgeable and they don’t push you to buy their products. The owners retiring though, so they’re closing end of November 2015. Go while you can! They have a sale ;)

I first came here last year for a bike tune up and I thought there prices were very reasonable… Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Aside from that, I got my first flat last week and Debbi rescued me from a very frustrating situation. She took me to the shop, I got to review how to change a tire, and bk my air cartridges failed me, they will be providing me with a bike pump. Thank you!!!

My first impression of this shop was good but I later realized that they had some serious deficiencies that hurt me and cost me a bunch of money. I purchased a beginner level bicycle that was never correctly or professionally fitted to my body. I also took an older model bicycle in for a tune up and to get reworked and road ready. They assured me that they could fix my bike, but after repeated visits for repairs it became evident that I was just pouring money into the bike and they just could not get it right. I found a new shop and told them about my experience. At first they were quick to back up Bicycle John’s and offered to help me out with a second look. They were shocked at the crappy work that was done on the old bicycle and they were able to fix all my issues professionally and with great efficiency. They fitted me for my new bike and made it as comfortable and right as they could get it. It simply wasn’t a great choice for my needs though. You don’t know what you don’t know so live and learn. I would have expected the«professionals» to give me better guidance at Bicycle John’s. FINALWORD… GOSOMEWHEREELSE !!!

I went to this bicycle shop yesterday to have my bike repaired and tuned up. I was immediately greeted by a friendly and courteous employee who was most helpful explaining repair options. He looked over my bike and went over with me the parts I needed for the repairs I requested showing me all the parts to choose from. After choosing the parts I wanted he gave me an estimate which turned out to be very fair. I did shop around by phone to see what other deals were out there and feel very satisfied with choosing this shop. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

My boyfriend just bought his Cannondale. The staff was extremely helpful. They did not pressure him, and took the time to answer his questions thoughtfully. They even measure you for a bike! Think when you go to the shoe store and put your foot into that metal contraption. I didn’t know they had actual«fit kits» to measure you’re bike size! They had 50 min until closing and they still set my boyfriend up with his bike, let him test two out without rush, sized me and ran through the types of bikes that would best suite me. Great staff. Go here for your bikes and bike accessories! SERIOUSLYGREATSTAFF! Thank you Brandon!

While we were there the employees were more Interested in a car in the parking lot than us ! We walked out and went and purchase 2 bikes(Around Three Thousand Dollars) at another local bike shop. Poor service that day will not return

Bicycle John’s repaired our bike within the same day for a very fair price. It’s never ridden better. Deb made suggestions, but didn’t pressure us. We will definitely come here again.

My wife and I both bought our bikes here a few months ago. The staff was very helpful, showing us several different models and encouraging us to try them out. There was zero pressure and the whole experience was very pleasant. We have both been extremely happy with our bikes. We’ve been back several times since to buy additional accessories and have one of the bikes tuned-up. I find their prices on accessories to be excellent — as good or better than I can get online — which is a miracle for smallish shop like this. And more importantly, the items they recommend and carry have all been high quality and appropriate for our level of riding. The lone experience we had with service has been similarly excellent. The work was done within the time promised and the bike rides and shifts as good or better than the day we bought it. We’ve both caught«the bug» and are already plotting our path to upgrade the bikes. Bicycle John’s will definitely be our first, and probably only, stop.

Terrible! I would NEVER recommended this place to anyone. I just needed new wheels for my bike and they kept my bike for four weeks. I finally called wondering what was taking so long and found out that after FOURWEEKS, they hadn’t even ordered my wheels yet, let alone done any work on my bike. I picked up my bike and took it to another shop where they had everything done in one day.

I LOVE Bicycle John’s in Lancaster. Bryan revived a vintage Trek, that I had purchased off Craig’s List for $ 35. It was in decent/rideable condition, but it needed some juice… and BOY did Bryan JUICE it up… This is my «grocery bike»… Riding to grocery used to be a joy… NOW it’s a THRILL!!! These are the nicest people ever! They will always take the time to talk to you and answer your questions. THANKYOUBRYAN!!!
