What a great store, and so much to choose from! This is my first time here and I have found my new go-to spot for sweets. They have stools to sit and enjoy a DOLLAR Ice Cream Scoop if you choose to. Who sells ice cream scoops for a dollar nowadays?! Love it! Place is very clean, and the guy working was very polite and helpful. Selection is great, and for every age group. They have old fashioned, as well as modern candy. Also have a good variety of cold drinks. They’re schedule is not posted, but I asked they’re hours of operation and they’re open 7 days a week, from 11−9pm; with Friday and Saturday extending their hours till 10pm. Sunday’s from 12−8pm Beautiful candy store and located on The Blvd, which is a great place to walk and enjoy the good things Lancaster has to offer.

The candy store was such a fun trip, and so cute and fun inside, it makes you feel like you’re in willy wonka! They had a great selection of candy, and it was also a good price! It seems like the kind of place that could be a great hang out! Would definitely go there again

I just happened across this candy shop as I was passing by after eating lunch and I decided to stop in and take a look. Set up like an old fashioned candy shop with black and white tiled flooring and wooden shelves stocked with candy. The candies are divided into sections, directly to your right(east) as you enter is the old fashioned candy, I’m pretty sure you will find something that you remember from when you were a kid. I found something called Fizzies and immediately remembered, they are tablets that you drop into a glass of water, they fizz and make a flavored soft drink. As you move forward on the east wall you will find three rows of self serve bins, pick up a bag at the far end of the bins and start filling your bag, these candies will cost you 55 cents an ounce. Below the bins are the current classics like M&M’s and behind you is the front counter. There are various candies on the counter and on the shelved behind the counter are the hard candies such as jaw breakers and rock candy. At the front of the store west of the front door is a selection of new style candies. This is a cute little shop with something to satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth. The young lady behind the counter was very helpful and friendly.

Located on the Blvd and in front of the Bandstand of where I usually perch with a cup of coffee, I’ve been eyeballing this candy store that looked so much like a See’s candies shop on the outside and oh, how I love scotchmellows and gobstoppers and chocolate. The first impression I got when I walked into the store was how empty it was. I get that it’s supposed to be old-fashioned, with old-fashioned candies, but there was so much space on the floor and not at all the kind of candies I want to eat and I eat a lot of candy. The second impression was that there was nobody working the counter. Oh wait, the girl who pointedly ignored me when I walked in and instead continued conversing with her man friend turned out to be the employee. I take it she doesn’t own this shoppe. The third impression was the bright light in the back, in flashing contrast to the orangey-homey glow of the lights that bathed the front half of the store. The chocolate gummybears and everything that you might not find on the side is probably located behind the counter, and the employee will don on a glove and grab a handful for you. 55 cents to an ounce. Kind of steep. Anyway, the 3 star might be related to my age and unappreciation for older candies and the realization that I am actually not a toffee fan, AFTER I have bought a couple of flavors to feast on. Some of the toffees are hard and some are harder. I keep thinking I will like them if I keep eating them and I keep proving myself wrong. Sigh, a few more toffees left to go.
