This was my first visit to Phebe’s. I had the French Toast., which was delicious. Crispy, but nice, chewy and plentiful. Customer service was amazing. Felt welcomed and taken care of, plus my order came in about 5 – 10 minutes. Will most definitely be coming back here to try other items on the menu.

Have been going to Phebie’s for almost 2 years now. My girlfriend and I have made it our regular breakfast place on the weekends, trying to get breakfast there at least once a week. I have to say that all I ever get is breakfast, but they sure do an amazing job. I usually get the«Deluxe two egg breakfast» and I am never disappointed. The place is a little small and can fill up rather quickly, but usually only during the rush hours like Sunday Mornings. The service here is awesome and every time we come my girlfriend and I are always treated very well. My girlfriend loves coffee so when we get in there they give her a special, extra large mug lol. The atmosphere of this place is very friendly. I’m not a fan of the«Run of the mill» breakfast places like IHOP, Denny’s etc. I like being able to go to a place and becoming a regular and I would say my girlfriend and I are definitely regulars. I love this place and recommend it greatly!

Wife and I went for breakfast. Our anniversary! She ordered steak/eggs, I ordered polish sausage and eggs. Good portions. Wife’s steak was tender and cooked to order. My Order was good as well. Service: late getting me the biscuits and gravy-had to remind waitress. Didn’t check to see if we needed coffee, more cream. Had to ask for all. Place was half full, but waitress was a tad scattered. Overall, acceptable. Total bill $ 34.50 including tip. Used those dopey auger packs instead of jar of sugar.

I’ve only been here once, but I will for sure be a repeat customer. I usually make it an attempt to try new dining establishments and not just venture into a franchise owned food hole. Typically, the lesser known places have better fare and Phebies is no exception to that. Clearly whoever is running the show in the kitchen, should be given an award because they know what they’re doing. My breakfast was awesome. I like that I can get home fries instead of run of the mill hash browns. Not many places have that as an option. My omelette came out exactly as I ordered it and the biscuits and gravy? Some of, if not, the best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had(sorry Grandma lol).

Service was bad. Food was okay. Took very long tome to get our breakfast. Waitress was indifferent and seemed bothered by customers. Will never go back.

My husband and I went there this morning thinking to try something different. First off the prices were high. Second the coffee weak and couldn’t get a refill the ice tea was really good. We ordered huevos Rancheros and eggs benedict. The Rancheros eggs were under done and the benedict was over done. We just said no thanks and asked for a bill for the drinks and left. The waitress was so sweet but she was all by herself, I really feel they were under staffed.

Upon a recommendation from a friend we tried this place out. It had a good old school or truck stop diner feel. The food was great but the coffee was s bit watered down. The pancakes taste like my grandma’s pancakes made from scratch. I recommend this place.

My boyfriend was hesitant to try this because of its location in the middle of the desert and its bare-looking exterior, but we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in! This has to be the cleanest, most well-kept diner we’ve seen. The food portions are generous. I’m talking two meals In one! The waitresses were constantly stopping by to refill coffee(which was of mediocre quality but the real reason we came was for good food). We both had omelets with home fries and toast, which I loved. I never liked omelets before but I gave it a shot and I really liked it here. Overall I’d say we have to come back and try the rest of the menu.

This was like experiencing a piece of fine art. I didn’t know which to taste and enjoy first so I kept going around and around on the choices. The staff was very friendly the atmosphere lovely and it was quite an enjoyable experience.

I have visited about a dozen times and only once had issues with food quality. They took care of it. The potions are good, service is friendly. Order ahead if you are in a hurry. I enjoy this café. Patty melts, tuna melts and eggs benedict are my favorites.

I’ve been to Phebie’s at least 10 times, and, I have yet to have a bad experience. I must admit, I have only been for breakfast, and only ordered breakfast, so I cannot provide a fair assessment of any menu items other than breakfast. Between the family, we’ve ordered just about everything on the breakfast menu and have not had to return any item to the kitchen — the restaurant and staff have met expectations. At times, when family come to visit, we’ve shown up with 10 people and the staff was extremely accommodating. My opinion is Phebie’s is a breakfast treasure — we typically arrive to eat early in the morning(on weekends) to avoid the crowd and potential wait(there are about 15 tables with some extra seating at the bar — fills quick).

I have food sensitivities and they were very accommodating with my gluten and dairy intolerances. I had the Denver omelet minus the dairy and the potatoes. All was def. homemade and delicious. Kept my coffee full at all times!

From out of town. Was worried about reviews. Was good breakfast joint. My Californian omelette was really good. Home fries could use a bit more seasoning but service was good. Better than average food and a nice break from fast food.

I’m not from Lancaster, and this place might be just what the locals expect and put up with, but it was a huge disappointment. The place was clean well lit, with friendly service and reasonable prices if he food had any quality, which is the reason ro 1 star. I recommend no one should eat here The chicken friend steak was thin rubbery and reminded me of a seriously freezer burned piece of meat. Gravy was bland and the hash browns were soggy, and over medium eggs were over easy. A professional chef with formal classroom training should know better. French toast was also a train wreck and the three friends I went with, are still suffering with stomach problems. The consensus was avoid among all 4 of us.

Great home style cooking in what otherwise a culinary dessert. I go there for breakfast. The home fries with peppers and onions are delicious.

Went here with a friend thinking it was still a Karen’s Kitchen. It took us till after we ordered to notice it was a different restaurant. It’s small and quaint. We weren’t bothered. Our waitress seemed a little out of it and forgot about us a few times. I asked for strawberries and whip cream on my pancakes(which I didn’t think was too special of a request) and she looked at me with curious eyes. She said she didn’t know if they had strawberries and they only have one cook so, she’d have to check. I said fine and she didn’t come back till my plate was ready with the strawberries on top. And after that we didn’t really see her again. It’s just a small, slow going place. It’s in an odd location and the parking is a little tight. The price was fair for the most part. I’ve just had better experiences at equally sized places.

I’ve been to Phebie’s once! Once to be honest, and it left a lasting impression on me. For dinner, I had the Phebie’s meatloaf and it was fantastic! I had a brief chat with the owner which surprisingly is of Honduran decent and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu. To be a straight shooter… a Hispanic woman that makes great American derived food! Highly recommended will go back again :)

The owner recently graduated from Le Cordon Bleu, which was what a friend of ours said he’d heard, so we all trotted off to lunch there in a maelstrom of anticipation and excitement. When we saw a menu focused on American breakfast items and soups, salads and sandwiches, we were sure there must be some mistake and so asked for information on the day’s specials. When this turned out to be cream of potato soup and a hot Italian sandwich, our hopes plummeted. We’d had this secret yen for some sort of Escoffier sauce or something, anything reflecting our quaint notions of Cordon Blue. So here’s the scoop … you’re going to order breakfast, soup, salad or a sandwich. The cream of potato soup was actually not bad, and the delicious onion rings were absolutely stellar. In all honesty, I’ll keep an eye on their website to see if they actually introduce any French or classic cuisine because there’s a huge dearth of more sophisticated food offerings in The Antelope Valley. I say take that Cordon Blue education and put it to use for those of us who actually care about food other than what we can buy down the street at Denny’s. Otherwise, stop talking about it. Don’t tell me you’ve got some classic culinary education and then put a diner menu down in front of me.
