Great pitas… all the fixins. Nice for a quick and easy«to go» meal when you want actual food that’s tasty and not fast food. My wife’s not a fan so I go every chance I get when she’s out of town.

Yummy! Had a tuna pita on whole wheat. It was delicious. I was n the area. Starving… Drove by this for something quick and its now going to be a new fav spot! I also had a raspberry smoothie… It was a little dense but overall good.

It’s like a better subway, using pitas instead of grinders. Good options. Not as much meat as I’d like per serving, but it was tasty.

Simple, fresh and awesome. A great break from Subway and other chain deli/sandwich shops. You can order just about anything in a pita customized to your liking. Buffalo chicken, gyro meat, turkey, hummus, endless veggies, guacamole, it’s great.

The pitas are pretty decent here. I go once or twice a month to take out. If it’s a little busy you’ll wait a bit for your sandwich but it’s not too bad. Small FYI they were closed at 1:30 am this morning when they advertise being open until 3 am. Not sure what was up.

We had just left the Lancaster Arts Hotel around 12am. The pita pit was still open so we stopped in. We ordered two Gyro’s and a Chicken Pita. The employee’s were very friendly and made our food quickly. We all enjoyed our late night snack. I would stop in again when I’m in the area.

I’m wavering on giving this place 2 or 3 stars. I decided on 3 because this place used to be really good, and has the potential to be again… however my last few experiences there have me questioning why I continue to go back. I enjoy the pita and the fresh toppings they offer. I’ve earned several free pitas with my pita card. The problem at this location really seems to be the current staff, they just can’t seem to get it together. All they need is some communication between them and a system. I really hope the management can turn this place around before it’s too late. You can see the disappointment on the other customers faces as you stand there and wait.

I don’t eat much fast food but Pita Pit is fantastic. Lots of healthy menu options with fresh toppings and tasty sauces. I love that they don’t charge extra for avocado like many places tend to. I have always had a pleasant experience at this location! Recommend: I like their falafel pita and the turkey & bacon pita– make them with all of your favorite veggies and cheese. Glitch: I found the chicken they used to be a little iffy… just my opinion. Also kind of tricky parking if it’s busy around the neighboring stores/yoga studio.

Gag. I ordered a chicken pita wrap and it was terrible. I ended up tossing it.

I’m obsessed with this place! I never had a pita until I came here. It’s open late, and when you’re drunk it’s even more delicious. I love 2nd tuesdays of the month! $ 3.00 pitas! A monthly tradition of mine… The staff is always the friendliest and they know how to make them! I’m always satisfied. It’s just like a subway where they make it right in front of you. Pita Pit over subway, ANYDAY! Also, if you decide to eat here often. get a Pita Card so you can save up points(that don’t expire) towards your future meals!

Good food, much heathier than any fast food(reasonable for sodium as well which a lot of «healthy» options neglect). Subway style prep, pretty quick, and with a few more options.

7÷3÷2013 update Man, Pita Pit has changed over the last half year or so. It’s gone from a personal 5-star rating to a place I will probably never go to again. It used to be you order your pita based on meats, then select whatever vegetables/sauces you want. Like at Subway. However, they’re now doing this thing where you order the base pita, and if you want to add anything to that, you have to pay extra. Maybe I could stomach that, except the staff turnaround hasn’t been good for them. They aren’t the friendly, helpful employees I’ve come to expect from the establishment. I’ve tried them multiple times recently to make sure it wasn’t just one bad experience(that happens even at the best places), but it seems to be something symptomatic of the current management. I’ll eat there again soon – I have enough points on my pita card for a free pita. But after that? Sayonara. I can get cheaper food elsewhere without feeling like the employees don’t want me there. My original review, for transparency’s sake: «One of my favorite places to eat in Lancaster. I know it’s very Subway in a lot of ways, but with MUCH more variety. The breakfast pitas, in particular, are pretty fantastic – the Sausage Scramble is my poison – wheat pita, humus, lettuce, pickles, jalapenos, black olives, feta cheese, and ancho-chipotle sauce. OOooooohmg. *edit: the Sausage Scramble is no longer offered. :-(»

Great food! But totally unsanitary, saw the guy use the same rag he wiped the food prep area with on the grill wall and trash can, then proceed to wipe back down the food prep area. Then used his rubber gloved hands he did all that with to continue making food, Disgusting! Hopefully I don’t get food poisoning.

Damn this was awesome, notes to enjoy do NOT get wheat, tastes nasty, i’m not a fattie, but i like to eat healthier sometimes, but not this, i got 4 pita’s to try with my fiancé and the wheat pita’s were just horrible compared to the white bread. again DONOTGETWHEAT! or the gyro, their lamb musta been flown over from iraq or something, deer lord this lamb was like nasty jerky. falafal was great!, gonna other pita’s next time, maybe even make my own.

Its like the SUBWAY of pita sandwiches. I had a baba ghannouj pita with the fixins. Quite good, quite fresh, nothing makes it stand out as special. I’ll eat here again sometime.

Wide variety of ingredients from which to choose. Helpful pita maker. Good tasting. Clean place. Quick.
