Quick Preface, we are a family of four(two kids under 10) and this is our second time here, so we know what to expect. We’ve eaten here for lunch and dinner, this is a two part review. Part One: Dinner Our first experience was dinner, it was packed and the crowds were very loud. The environment seemed very hectic and our server was a little frazzled. The wait time on our food was fairly long, but the appetizers came out quickly. Highly recommend the crab wonton. We left satisfied with the overall experience. Part Two: Lunch Our second time back was a much better experience for our lunchtime choice. The crowd was minimal and the servers were very attentive. Our food was brought out in a more timely manner and we left feeling much better about our experience.

Sukhothai is one of my favorite restaurants to go to in the Lancaster area. They offer a lunch special for $ 10 which includes an appetizer and entrée. Everytime I have eaten here I have never had a bad experience. Everything is fresh and prepared well. My favorite dishes are the green curry(full of vegetables, which I love), drunken noodles, hot and sour soup and crab wontons. The crab wontons are probably the best I have had anywhere — light, perfectly crisp and filled with real crab meat. The soup’s broth is complex, flavorful and it is chock full of vegetables. Ask for their chili oil on the side, a wonderful toasty compliment to spice things up. The restaurant is clean and the interior is very nice.

If you like Thai curry especially«coconut» curry, you gonna love the curry offered! I went there several times. The food were good and worth the price.

I love this place. I have been here twice and both times the food was great. The first time service was very slow but the place was busy and I am understanding. Second time service was quick! Only giving it 4 stars because my heart belongs to another thai restaurant.

Came here for the first time last night. We started off with an order of the fresh rolls with shrimp. You could taste how fresh they were and the sauce that came with them is really good. My friend and I then split orders of the drunken noodles with chicken and the brown curry with beef, both with the medium spice level. Both dishes were delicious! I however did not like the coconut rice we got on the side because it was way too sweet for me. I recommend this place for anyone craving Thai food!

If you are looking for delicious Thai food and a quieter night out, this is your place! Sukhothai is BYOB, which makes the prices affordable! The service does take time which can be a good and bad thing! Definitely gives time to catch up and enjoy your meal, but does create a wait time when wanting the check. I recommend the Battered Vegetables for an appetizer! The vegetables include broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and more! The veggies are light fried and served with their sweet and sour peanut sauce, which is delicious! The Crab Wontons are good. I prefer more cream cheese normally, but the crab is tasty and the wontons are crispy! For an entrée I ordered the Pad Si Ew with shrimp. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the sauce is so great. There’s not too much sauce on the meal, but just enough to compliment the dish. The veggies aren’t cooked to death and have a healthy crunch. I’m not a fan of overly spicy food, so I didn’t get mine spicy, but they do offer that option! Definitely a great night out for a change of normal cuisine!

I enjoy the atmosphere and food is wonderful. I typically get the Brown Curry. I also love the crab wontons, they are amazing, I wish they gave you more! The few times I went on lunch break, it took a little too long and ran late even though I allowed for an hour. So I wouldn’t suggest this if you’re looking for a quick lunch, which is a bummer because that is the only time I can typically go.

I love Sukhothai for lunch! Their lunch special appetizers are always an added treat. The staff is very attentive. The décor is simple and modern. I always over eat because the food is so flavorful. I often choose this restaurant not only because of the good flavor but it is also easy access just outside the city with a free parking lot. Finish your meal with a coffee from Mean Cup in the same shopping center and it’s the perfect day!

Okay, we tried Sukhothai again last night… very good! This time I ordered the drunken noodles«hot» in the spice department and THAT was what I was looking for last time. The heat this time made my lips tingle and served as a compliment to the flavors in the dish. My wife’s brown curry seafood was silky, rich, and delicious. Her mango smoothie was fresh and delicious and my Thai iced tea was good. For desert we split the Tropical Island(banana wrapped in a wonton(?) and fried) served with vanilla ice cream, berry, mango, and coconut sauces. Delectable. A very nice meal and great service.

I absolutely love Sukhothai. I will always recommend it. It feels authentic and genuine and the food is simply delicious. The coconut rice is amazing, always a part of our order. Everything I’ve had in my multiple visits is fresh, perfectly balanced and not too much flavor. Their spicy rating is very true to taste also. The atmosphere is lovely, and calm and the wait staff are all very polite and professional. I’ve never encountered a long wait or feeling neglected. A must try if you haven’t tasted or visited it yet.

Here’s the problem, we love their food, but it is such a pain to get it. Go there and it takes forever. Call ahead and it takes forever even when you show up 30 minutes after you call. Two times so far I called an order in, paid them, sat, waited… they brought the food out and set it behind the counter, a staff member tells the person at the front they brought it out, and they twiddle their thumbs until I have to ask if it is my food. They need to be more on top of things. They seem to be getting too big for their location and are going to lose a lot of customers if they lose focus. Back to the food… our bread and butter there is: 1. Fresh rolls 2. Hot and Sour soup 3. Shrimp Pad Thai Really good, actually excellent, but watch it, because if you ask for something spicy you may barely taste it, but ask for something to be mild and it may be brutal.

To start, I came here solo for lunch before work and despite there only being 2 other couples dining, it took almost 10 minutes to be sat. Normally I would have left long before then, but I decided to stick it out side I have been craving Thai food. For the lunch special, I started with the crab wontons, which were practically tasteless. Fortunately, the peanut sauce was decent and made up for the bland wontons. I went with the pad thai with tofu for my entrée, which was a pleasant surprise after the lackluster appetizer. That being said, it still wasn’t amazing. It was just an average, adequate noodle dish. It definitely lacked flavor, but it was still tolerable. Throughout my meal, I was not checked up on once and my empty drink glass sat at the edge of my table the entire time. All in all, Sukhothai definitely needs to brush up on their customer service and has very bland food. It wasn’t HORRIBLE but I still would not return.

Fab Thai iced tea. They do this cute curly thing with straws which I was easily amused by. My Pad Thai was decent. Medium sized portions. I stayed at the Lancaster Arts Hotel and this was a conveniently close change of pace for me and my special guest. If you’re out of town and looking for a nice, little Thai spot, this place will do the trick. Also, this restaurant is GORGEOUS inside. I couldn’t get over the natural light enveloping the room from the large windows. You’ll look good while eating your food!

The food was… eh…that’s the best I can say about it. The green curry was overloaded with coconut milk. It was way too thick and way too sweet even with medium spice. The Thai ice tea was delicious though!

Do you like Chef Boyardee? Are you NOT a fan of Thai food? You should try this place! It looks just like Thai food but tastes just like Chef Boyardee. If you DO like Thai food, avoid this place at all costs. In addition to bad food, the service was very, very slow and inattentive.

The food was good, it was small. I wasn’t blown away by the preparation. But it was good. Just not amazing. I would definitely give them another try. They do have a limited«specials» menu for lunch, it seems. Not bad but every lunch is a $ 10 combination.

Food was good. Waitstaff courteous. Nice layout and very personal for tables. Came here after Mean Cup with my mom and we split the curry and veggies and rice. Was hoping it would be hotter, but it had spice. I’m sad that most Thai places have American-ized their spice levels, because when I say hot, I mean Thai hot. Not American-I get offended because the jalapeños have seeds in them I’m gonna sue you because I have a weak constitution-hot. I’d like to try them again and will, but I’ll be getting their hottest level to see if they can satisfy my need to burn.

Genuine Thai food. They seem to tone the spices down as the default, so ask for it «Thai hot» if you want it like you would get in Thailand. Highly recommended.

The food wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t great. I wasn’t impressed with the flavor and the portion size of the food. I feel that if this was the first time you were eating Thai food, you would probably like it. I had better Thai food in other restaurants and usually order the same thing – drunken noodles and calamari. Servers were nice and attentive. I love that this was BYOB, plenty of parking, and nice atmosphere
