I absolutely love and highly recommend Scrambler Marie’s! Though only a breakfast and brunch style restaurant, the servings are good size enough to satisfy any appetite! Local calendars and quarterly magazines normally have Scrambler Marie’s coupons. Their coupons are nice for example, buy one meal get the second one for $ 2 etc. Everything I have ever ordered is served with a smile. Service is pretty good, yet sometimes slow when the restaurant is hopping. My food is always hot and at a good temperature. I try to keep recommending this to others, it amazes me how many people have yet to visit any Scrambler Marie’s! Location is key and the location for this is easily accessible and the amount of seating is good at this Lancaster Scrambler Marie’s location. This is a family friendly, all ages welcomed restaurant. Again, the customer service is top notch and I hope more people will regularly support Scrambler Marie’s. My favorites: The Avocado Omelet, their fresh fruit, and past was their seafood crepes.

Large menu with tons of breakfast options. The portions are huge with affordable prices. This place totally beats run of the mill b Evans. Definitely try an omelette and biscuits and gravy! Crab Benedict is so good and the bottomless waffles and stuffed french toast are the best we’ve had! Yum! Very nice stAff and attentive. Give it a try, You won’t be disappointed!

Should Have Gone to Bob Evans… Went to Scrambler Marie’s in Lancaster today, was seated quickly, hostess asked if we wanted coffee, we said yes, 10 minutes passed until waitress showed up, less than 20 customers in restaurant, all the food was cold, toast was hard, bacon was cold, hash browns cold, charged for orange juice but did not receive, asked when I received check and was finally served, will not being going back anytime soon…

We stopped in for breakfast on our way back home. They were just opening and a little behind due to some personal issues(granted it was –16 outside) The menu was a good selection for breakfast and the food came out hot and well made. This was good food at a good price. We will be back next time we are in Lancaster.

Found Scrambler Marie’s on a work trip. Stopped by for a late breakfast/early lunch. On par with other eateries that serve breakfast and lunch. Many choices and large portions with reasonable prices. The wait staff was pleasant and offered a substitution of a fruit cup when I declined the toast. Food was acceptable. Nothing out of the ordinary to put this over the top, but a fine place for breakfast or lunch.

Good food as long as you want it done«their way.» I have only eaten breakfast here(never lunch) so that is all I can comment on. The food always tastes good – even really good at times. However, when you order your eggs over medium and they come back hard as bricks and when you ask for your toast to be «dark» and it is served as though it barely saw the toaster – more like soft bread, it is very disappointing. The waitresses are always willing to take it back and make it right, but they didn’t cause the problem and besides who knows what an unhappy cook might do to it. I would probably come here more often if I found myself enjoying breakfast«their way» but I don’t. This will be a monthly stop rather than a weekly one for me.

First time back after original review(it was free with the parents in town). Service is 150x better. Our waitress(whom we have had before) was nice and happy to serve us. This change of heart was ubiquitous and there were a number of new faces. Upgrading from 2.5 to 4. You regained a customer Scramblers!

I have been to several of these and they are all about the same. You feel more like cattle than customers. But the food is decent and comes out pretty quick. Prices are about what you would find anywhere else. No major complaints but no compliments either.

I’ve been a regular here for months. Staff started to recognize me when I arrive. Always a welcome smile and wave. Breakfast menu is huge and so are the portions. You won’t go away hungry. Since the place is bustling on weekend mornings expect the staff to chat less. I’d rather have my coffee quick(which they do) than anything else. Compared to two other locations I’ve eaten at, this Lancaster spot has much better staff(friendly and efficient) and more consistent quality food. This is my favorite spot for a hearty eggs, bacon, hash browns, & pancakes meal.

Just popped into Scrambler Maries in Lancaster. This used to be a very favorite breakfast spot — sadly, not any more. The food is still good — a bit unispired and certaintly the menu lacks healthy alternatives, but consistent. The problem is the wait staff — 7am on a Saturday, no smiles, actually a bit surly and just not the friendly spot I used to enjoy reading my paper at. Management WAKEUP!

It took us a little while to finally stop here to eat, but we’ve made more than a couple stops here and their scrumptious food and great customer service ensures we’ll continue to be repeat customers. The wait staff is always prompt and friendly, giving us fine service. They have a varied selection of breakfast and lunch items… from your basic eggs and bacon to French toast and soup and sandwiches. There are a few things that really impressed me. First, they have very big portions. I always have to take some of the breakfast meal home as I can’t finish it in one setting. Secondly, the bread they use to make toast is out of this world. I enjoy the wheat toast. It’s thick-cut with a wonderful flavor. Never had toast anywhere like the toast they serve here. It’s pretty good when used on their sandwiches, too! The skin on potatoes are fully cooked with a great flavor. Very good sausage gravy, too… for biscuits and/or potatoes. I’ve noticed that they have a meeting-type room that you can reserve. Keep that in mind if you’re ever in need of such accommodations. Scrambler Marie’s is definitely worth the trip. They close at 3 pm most days if my memory serves me correctly, so don’t plan a trip there for supper. :) Price is reasonable, depending on what you order. Adding on your drinks, your deserts, etc can get a little pricey, but the overall menu selections are reasonable.

Solid three stizzars for my gal, Scrambler Marie. Don’t let the middle of the road rating fool you, no haters here… the breakfast is fine and service is warm, there just isn’t much else beyond your standard a.m. fare to amp up my excitement for this utilitarian morning spot. For my Chicago peeps, I can best assimilate Scrambler to our beloved Egg Harbor restaurants; a) they’re both small, local chains, b) they both specialize in serving breakfast and lunch only and c) the décor and menus alike are super home style centric. From the picnic print curtains to the biscuits and gravy, it’s family style all the way! The healthy eating options here are pretty slim pickins’(i.e. ‘lite bite’ offerings are: bacon, cinnamon roll, granola and full skillet of skin-on potato chunks) — no, I’m not joking. Bite the bullet and head here with the best of carbohydrate intentions. Marie’s cheese smothered, chorizo stuffed breakfast burrito and whipped butter laden pecan waffles are THE way to go. Oh, and the house speciality, bottomless french toast made with sourdough bread and generously kissed with powered sugar, sure doesn’t suck either. At only $ 6.99, that’s one très tasty and affordable Sunday Funday!
