Sizzler

I have been to sizzler’ all over the country. A few are good but more are not. This sizzler in Lancaster is above the rest. Well lit, inviting and clean while approaching. Upon entry this sizzler continues to excel the inside was also clean and inviting the hostess/​cashier greeted me with a smile and was very helpful in my selection. The salad bar was well laid out and looked and tasted fresh. My steak was prepared great and melted in my mouth. Above everything was my server Neati (I probably spelled that wrong). She was attentive and courteous almost read my mind when I needed something. You could see her scan the dinning room and find what the guest needed quickly. She is a stellar employee. All and all a great experience

The only thing they have that is good is there endless salad bar. Everything else is garbage. Steak is wack, shrimp is like any other seafood fried food. Egh…

Pretty good food! But what makes this sizzler is Kenny. He is the BEST waiter ever!!! He us funny, charming, has a great memory. If you’ve been there before, he remembers what you like to drink. He is a true joy to be around. There needs to be more people in the world like Kenny. But all in all salad bar was tasty and fresh.

I went to this Sizzler 3 or 4 times in the past and the food never was really outstanding, but it also never was bad.
Today I went and ordered the 12 oz New York Steak with Broccoli and Salad Bar. I’m watching my carb intake so decided to stay away from all those other options. I ordered the steak medium well. The steak was served very fast. I cut into it and it was well done, completely cooked and not very juicy any more. I didn’t want to be a pain and thought ‘oh well.” and started eating.
I had a look at the Broccoli and thought already «Darn that looks like old Broccoli» — like the florets that you forget in the back of your fridge for a week.
I took a bite and it tasted weird.
So I started to pull the heap of broccoli apart and the Broccoli was rotten. It was foul veggies that they had heaped on my plate. And I had eaten a bite of it already!
I was so disgusted I had to fight the gag reflex. The waiter avoided coming back to me — my guess is he knew what was on my plate. I can’t believe that somebody can put rotten vegetables on a guest’s plate and not notice!
I finally returned the food — if I hadn’t paid already I had left at that point. No manager came to apologize, nothing, just the waiter said, ‘should I make you a baked potato instead?’ — I’m quite frankly a bit upset about that. If I want a baked potato I order a baked potato! If I order Broccoli I expect to get fresh, non– rotten vegetables! So I just asked for a new steak. The steak I got then was cooked strangely, ½ of it was prepared like I had ordered it (medium well), the other half was bloody…
I didn’t complain anymore. I ate as much meat as I found pleasant and left.
But even now thinking about the foul vegetable on my plate I feel the gag reflex. I won’t go back there ever.

Always a good experience here. Our group occasionally dines here on Saturday nights, and for my meal this time, I had the full rack of ribs for dinner. The service is always good, but I guess it helps if the staff knows us because we’re there so often!

Exceeded our expectations. Received good service and had a pleasant lunch this Sunday afternoon. Restaurant interior was not dated or run down, more than presentable for a family restaurant. Staff was pleasant, and all of the guests seemed to be happy. A far better experience than many others we’ve had in the AV or elsewhere!

It is a run of the mill chain steak house with run of the mill food. The major draw back is the wait! Not to get seated, not to order but, for your food to come!
Sizzle is nice enough to put the time on your receipt so you can see your life slip away while you wait for your food. 1 hour 7 minutes for a 6oz medium rare Tritip? Maybe if it was well, and I mean VERY well done but, you guys weren’t even busy! PLUS, I asked for medium rare not with blood pooling on my plate! I kept using napkins to soak up the blood!

why did we ever waste our time with Outback??? My kids favorite was Chili’s but not anymore. Thaks to manager Monica fir a great experience! They are giving us shrimp plates before we ask or are even finished. AWESOME!

I’ve been here plenty of times over the years and my family and I usually go for the endless salad bar. For dinner, it’s $ 12 which is a bit outrageously priced in my opinion. However, if you order an entrée from a select list on the menu (ranging from $ 12-​$ 14) you get an endless salad bar included and that’s a little more reasonable.
I have tried the Malibu Chicken with a side order of rice. Not a big fan of the chicken and the rice is very bland. The sirloin steak is pretty good, kind of a small portion, though. The fries are almost always cold any time I have ordered them and tonight was no exception. Like I said, I go for the salad bar. Fresh salad and fruit are always available. My dad’s favorite is the fried chicken. My personal favorite would have to be the taco section. I absolutely love the carnitas, always juicy and flavorful.
Service is fairly consistent. Sometimes they’re busy and it gets difficult to flag down your server. Other times they’re on top of it and bring things to you without even having to be asked. Those who take care of the salad bar are phenomenal. I almost never see anything empty, they’re constantly replenishing the items. And I’ve always been amazed by how quickly they respond to a mess. On one occasion, a woman was there wiping up every little spill the moment it would drop. It reminded me of the cute little cleaning robot from Wall-​E. Lol

I have been here once a week for the last 4 weeks and the food and staff is consistantly good. It isn’t Ruth Chris but a great value and service. I found nothing at all negative.

Good stuff. Steak was amazing but I didn’t enjoy their chicken so much. Good and fast service as well.

Wonderful wait staff, always helpful and very attentive. Food is good. The only negative comment I have is in regards to the lack of decent desserts. The ice cream machine has been broken for at least five months, the other sweet selection lacks variety and taste.

I like the Sizzler is Palmdale way better. Because at this one, every time we would go here, there is always something wrong! And usually more then one at a time. So we drive all the way out to Palmdale instead.

I absolutely love Sizzlers. The stakes are great, the salad bar is exceptional. The variety of the salad bar is quite unique, granted the Mexican section of their bar isn’t the best but it’s not too bad. The soups are always pretty good. The potato wedges and chicken strips are a favorite of mine. Oh yeah there’s a salad section 2 they do have a right at Royces with your lettuce, they also have a good variety of dressing. The service is friendly and the cashiers are quick to take your order. For some reason I stopped going there, for the life of me I can’t remember why, glad to be back. Usually this place is cool but my experience yesterday was BAD… I ordered a steak and baked potatoe and altho the steak was good the potatoe was HORRIBLE idk if it was over cooked or what but even w. Salt it was nasty… The service was slow not enough ppl working so after I ate the steak and of course the chicken I was out of there!!! They lost a star yesterday 7÷17÷2014 from me

This is by far the best sizzlers I’ve ever been to. The salad bar was amazing — great selection and fresh! I was full off of the salad bar before I even got my entrée — that’s how good it was :)
After I was full, I looked behind and saw another bar full of hot food — Mac n cheese, crispy wings, a full taco bar, and more. It was an omfg overload!
The service was great too! We were given complimentary cheese bread that was the best I’ve ever had. I think it was even better than the salad bar and entrée: D
I look forward to coming back. I almost came back the next day but I have to resist becoming more obese than I already am. Maybe tomorrow…

I have had the pleasure of eating here twice and both occasions were positive and pleasant. The restaurant is clean. The staff is friendly. The salad bar was fresh and the meals were served timely. The overall food quality and service was good. I recommend this place.

Had the steak and all you can eat shrimp it was delicious, very impressed with the service and always checking on you to make sure all is well, when I got my steak the waiter ask me to cut it to make sure it was to my liking.

Look, its Sizzler, im not expecting an upscale dining experience. What I know ill get everytime when I come here is CONSISTANCY. They cook my steak perfectly everytime, the malibu chicken is always tasty, and i know that if i want to be able to enjoy the salad bar and not be grossed out i need to show up when they open. The staff is also friendly too.

I went for lunch at approximately 11:00 a.m. I had the all-​you-​can eat lunch buffet. The food was stocked and looked fresh. The soup was warm and tasted fresh. I enjoy their different selections on the buffet such as the different salads, the taco bar, the soup area, and the fresh fruit. It’s affordable. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. Sizzler doesn’t usually disappoint.
