Super Shoe

Found this gem of a shoe store by accident while passing by, contemplating going out to 30e to find hiking boots. Drive no further, my friends… super shoes has the largest selection of hiking and work boots I’ve seen in Lancaster county, hands down. Merrell, Hi Tek, Timberlake, Keen, Columbia… they’re all here, plus clothing from carhartt and other work brands. Had a clearance room also, with good names present. Had sneakers by Nike, new Balance, Sketchers. Didn’t check out the women’s shoes, as that’s not how I roll.
Only gripe is that they would not price match amazon, so I paid extra for the cost of convenience.
Store is clean, well lit, and has clean bathrooms.
Prices were on par with retail, with some good deals.
Unlike other Unilocalers observations, crew working today was helpful and friendly.
Definately will return for boot related needs!

This is the old school Lancaster shoe store. The Secret Sneaker finally went under (and no one should miss that dump) so we’re left with Super Shoes. It’s a large building (as shoe stores go) They have a wide selection of sneakers, casual and work shoes and boots. Really, this is the place in Lancaster if you need work clothing or shoes. Otherwise, it’s pretty tedious. The help is, well, not much really. Don’t bother phoning ahead and asking questions, they’re not good at answering them and it’s been my experience that upon arrival at the store, whatever was said on the phone may as well have been said by aliens. Prices are, mostly retail. Some stuff is on sale but it’s usually just closeouts which tend to be very limited in size availability. From time to time you might luck into a deal and that they have it in the size you need, «luck» being operative word here. Me? I tend to try not to rely on luck when shopping.

Bf and I needed some hiking boots since running shoes just don’t cut it. He took me here and I was in heaven. I love shoes and this place delivered! He found a great pair of hiking boots which he loved for $ 50. I found my hiking boots, as well as a cute pair of winter boots, and a pair of flat crocs, all for $ 100.
Great selection, pretty organized, helpful and friendly staff, to boot (lame pun intended)!
