Like the Palmdale store, it’s not worth the savings of a few pennies. It seems that they want to improve but just does not convince me, feels sad in the store.

Superior is a lot faster than Vallarta. They sometimes Don’t have that great of deals but what’s for certain is you will be in and out with the everything you need. Customer service is excellent as well.

The store was pretty clean the few times I have been there. The cheap produce prices attracted me, but the produce always looked pretty bad to me. The cashiers were pleasant. Although prices are cheap on various things, I prefer Walmart where prices are cheap and produce looks much fresher.

The best employee is Sergio in produce. Not only is he very customer service oriented, but he is a CUTIE!!!

I’m sorry but all these people reviewing are either employees of this grocery store or have relatives that work there. To begin, the place reeks. It smells like the butcher/deli section throughout the whole store. The produce is sub par and they have the bare minimum. The fruit is disgusting. I hate their apples, pears and peaches. The boxes even have mold on them. I only trust their vegetables when they’re in sealed bags. Everything else is up to you. There’s got to be something in the water if people like buying produce there. The meat department is a mess. Even if there is a special in the weekly circular they will price your items wrong. More than twice I’ve had to inconvenience myself and return home after they mislabeled my meat products. Just today @ 5pm on 8÷31÷11 the meat department attendant did not want to give yesterday’s special for 1.99 on pork stew meat which I need for my business. The day before that they didn’t have it so they said they would honor the price the following day. Needless to say I showed up and he pretended like he didn’t even remember me from yesterday. Little did the punk know that I was heading towards management. I got my meat at the price I wanted, but they only provided 13 lbs when I needed 20. I think they had more back in the freezer but didn’t want to bother with getting it for me. They hire lots of young kids in their late teens mid 20’s. I’m in my mid 20’s myself and I wouldn’t treat customers that way, and I have worked retail btw… However, the management has always been very helpful when I have a problem. I won’t be returning to this place anymore. The best places for good deals and customer service/quality food in this valley are 1) Winco’s 2) Vallarta 3) Costco 4) Food4Less 5) Vons 6) Stater Bros. 7) Albertson’s 6) Trader Joe’s 83) Superior Grocer’s

I was hesitant to go to superior because i felt it was another vallarta. I dont care for the way vallarta treats their customers. I was so very pleasantly surprised! Everyone at superior on Challenger Way and Ave. J were so pleasant and helpful. the store is clean and things are easy to find. The prices are like getting a present everytime I go there. I know the store is new but Im hoping it stays this way.

I really enjoy shopping here. The prices on their produce are very inexpensive. You bag your own groceries which I don’t mind doing. They have a good selection of salsas and prepared meals in their deli. My daughter loves the pan dulce and I looove the red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. I do about half of my shopping here and the other half at walmart because some of their products can be pricey, compare prices & shop smart you wont be disappointed.

Sorry Vallarta… this place REALLYDOES have even lower prices and a great selection of products. Good experience there except for seeing some employees smoking right in front of their entrance. Hope this place doesn’t become ghetto…
