Sat outside, deck is really nice. Ordered a Marguerita could not taste the tequila. We ordered the clams which were tasty but unfortunately less than luke warm. Waitress was not very attentive not a place I would go back to.

I am in the frogs it beautiful day and the deck bar is full. Service is good, half price drafts 5 to 7. Clams were ok, would be much better in broth with some bread.

Awful service and food that would make a chef shudder. We went for brunch, as we had been there before for dinner. Food quality has taken a nose dive. Our waitress, who appeared to have two tables(ours and another) in the same room, was barely present. I actually think that we were the only two occupied tables in the restaurant. My parents both got the eggs Benedict off the brunch menu and both said their eggs tasted strongly of vinegar. The hollandaise had the consistency of vanilla pudding, not saucy and smooth like it should be. All the eggs were over cooked. No runny yolks in sight. Awful! My sister got the French toast sticks, half of which were not warm inside. Others were spongy and soggy. I got the breakfast burger minus the over easy egg, which was probably for best. I asked for my burger to be cooked medium and there was no pink to be seen. It was grey. Not juicy. Just blah. The burger came with sweet potato fries that looked like they were hanging out in the fryer or oven way way too long. They tasted burnt, they looked burnt. What happened Froggs?!

We just had dinner at Tobias Frog… disappointed ! We both ordered the strawberry chicken salad. Why would you EVER use frozen, soggy strawberries? Well we asked and were told they are fresh strawberries and WEFREEZETHEM. How dumb is that? In addition they did not serve it with fresh parmesan cheese but instead the stuff like Kraft in a can shaker. Love the outdoors in summer but will stick with a burger. Salad is too gourmet for this establishment.

Tobias used to be a great restaurant, with a wide mix of apps, sandwiches and unique higher end dinner entrees at a reasonable price. The service has been going down for years but the menu would bring us back. No more. Now, it’s all about the outside bar, with a boring generic menu that rivals Applebee’s. In fact, you should probably just go to Applebee’s instead because you’ll likely get better service and higher quality food that might actually taste good. And less 20somethings who are incapable of speaking without dropping the f bomb every 2 minutes with no concern for anyone else, especially families with small children. Then there’s the food. It’s not good. Not even close. My husbands steak was utterly tasteless. The chicken gumbo was reminiscent of those cheap frozen boil in bag meals I lived on in college and the«andouille» appeared to be the flavored Johnsonville brats, not the actual sausage. Gross. We’re over it. Moral of the story: If you’re out for drinks, go for it. Dinner or lunch, steer clear.

The food is somewhat pricey and not that great. It’s mainly about the atmosphere outside, and that is that they seem to have going for them. The hostess was not very pleasant and service was just ok. If you want to enjoy their outside patio and have a few drinks then this is a good place to go.

Nothing to brag about. Service was slow, and it wasn’t very crowded. And the wings were very dried out. Cheese steak wasn’t bad, but it didn’t «wow» me. Don’t get me wrong. It wasn’t the worst place I’ve been to, but I don’t think I would go out of my way to come back.

Horrible food, more horrible wait, even more horrible service. Had a burger which was overcooked and overpriced. Service was terrible, had a I don’t care kind of attitude.

Great place to hang out when the weather is nice. The inside is very nice as well, but the outside is the place to be. Great food, good drinks, good service. Can’t really say anything bad about this place. If you haven’t been, you probably should.

I have to say, I’m very disappointed in this establishment. Tonight, my friends and I got together to unwind and catch up. I ordered the special drink(a berry mojito) and the presentation was nice. And that’s about it. Way to much syrup. So I politely sent it back and requested a regulAr mojito. My poor waitress… So the original mojito comes out and again, presentation is nice. And then I taste it. There is so much soda water that I think I ordered the wrong virgin beverage. So I inform my waitress about this poor choice of beverage and request to speak to a manager. Keep reading. The«manager» shows up(who also shares with us that she is the bartender as well). I explain to the mantender my concerns regarding the drinks(mind you, I was a bartender for 8 years). She proceeds to inform me that she«can’t take things off the menu just because I don’t LIKE them.» Excuse me?! She then proceeds to tell me that she oversees EVERY beverage that leaves from the bar and guarenteed that the bartender who made it «made it to perfect tee.» I asked how she did it(saw every drink made at the bar)? I’m in management and if she had some tips… I was willing to listen. Anyways, fine. I ordered a draft and my mojito say sweating and full. Then the food came out. Chicken so greasy it made my salad soggy and the mozzarella sticks were frozen still! Again, called the bartender/manager over who refused to acknowledge anything wrong. «We can’t take it off just because you don’t like it.» Can’t or won’t? Long story short, I don’t care how nice the patio is, I will not be dining back here again. It’s disappointing to see patrons treated this way. So I wasted 28.00 on soggy food, awful drinks and a member of management who doesn’t have her restaurants best interests in mind.

If you’re interested in trying amphibian, their signature frog legs are delicious. They are very well seasoned and perfectly fried, so while the texture was not to my liking they tasted quite good. Everything else we had was decent. The most mediocre thing I had was the fish tacos, which were par for the course and somewhat uninspired. The zucchini medallions came with a tasty dipping sauce and were just thick enough to still resemble an actual vegetable. The fries were tasty and well cooked, and their mac and cheese, which I only had a few bites of, was phenomenal. They use real cheese and it shows. It’s so nice to have a non-processed mac and cheese when many establishments opt for something that obviously comes from a box. The restaurant itself is set up a bit weirdly, and I was sat in a back room with very little traffic and somewhat loud music. I can tell that when warm weather hits the place to go here is the patio, which seems to be a signature part of their identity. It’s a bit expensive but this is an interesting place to check out.

Don’t trust their servers or bartenders with a credit card charge will tell you one charge when you return home you see an extra amount taken. Buffalo shrimp are good though just bring cash.

This place has a very nice outdoor experience. The service is good. We brought our 4 kids and the had a good time. The food was not great however. Not bad just a little bland. I still give it 4 stars because of the staff and the nice fun attitude.

Worst experience ever!!! I have heard such wonderful things about this place since I moved here that my fiancé and I decided to get a sitter and have a night out. After making me repeat my order five times because she was too busy staring at my fiancé, our waitress finally put in our appetizer and drink orders. Since I love frogs legs and he had never had them we decided on those as an appatizer. He had order a shot just in case they didn’t go down right. Well they were stifling hot but not cook right and I immediately got sick. As I turned to ask the waitress where the rest room was she look at me ignored me and walked away. Thank fully there was a manager to guide me so I didn’t vomit on my shoes. While I was sick. The waitress brought my fiancé another beer and shot all while putting her arm around him and saying that he looked like he could use these and they were on the house. He told her to get away and get our food. I made it back from the restroom and told him I was ready to leave. When he asked for our food to be boxed and the waitress noticed us holding hands and my ring she became non verbal and started slamming things on the table and stomping around. We paid left and went to eat at home. His burger was cooked wrong and my mac and cheese was a pile of grease. I wish I could give this less stars and get my money back. Did I mention it was my anniversary?

Just ok. Nice place to go when it’s not mobbed, nice atmosphere and good service. Went the other night when we were stricken with Cabin Fever – was a toss up but is right down the road, Had only been there once before with friends for drinks over a year ago. Didn’t choose other places we like since figured they’d be crowded with sports fans, since there was abig game on. A bit overpriced… $ 9 for a dz wings is a little high – but they at least include celery and bleu cheese(unlike other places that bilk you by tacking on a buck or so for each). But $ 5 for a bottle of Corona’s absolutely«a bit much.» Also not sure what we ate, but my partner and I were both not feeling well the day after… All we had was a couple of bottled beers(aforementioned $ 5 Coronas) and an order of wings each, so can’t blame it on the usual culprit of dirty beer taps… But our tummies know that something was«off” – either the bleu cheese, celery, or wings(or the oil they were cooked in?). Wings were ok – asked for«nice and crispy” – well some of them were, but others were not crispy at all. Ordered my favorite, teriyaki, which came very dry with barely a hint of teriyaki flavor. My companion’s Buffalo style were better. Next time it’ll be Lucky Dog or Mick’s for us.

The outdoor seating and spacious dining experience is a needed atmosphere in Lancaster. The food is good with healthy options for fit patrons. However, the staff rolls their eyes at you and are quite rude for a Sunday afternoon. The bar was not packed, but the bartenders would chat with one another and not attend to the patrons. It took ten minutes to get a check after I asked. I would suggest not eating here if you are in a rush or want to be treated like a human being.

Just okay. A lot of fried food. I don’t get the attraction? In a heavy agricultural area I would expect more fresh food.

Great atmosphere outside today. Food was okay. Nothing to write home about. Had a chicken cheese steak that was very salty. Cheese on fries had been sitting there quite a bit as it was solid, not stringy. Would I go again? Doubtful unless dragged there by someone else. Just not impressed.

I had been to Frogg before, but always only eat inside during off times — never anything to really wow me. This time, however, we choose to eat outside… and I will definitely be returning. The patio is nicely done and it is not too loud there regardless of the sports games going on and the crowded bar areas. The food(I got the standard Fish and Chips while my mum got the Crab Salad) was wonderful. I am very picky about how fish and chips are done, but the fish was perfectly battered and fried. The fries, however, were just your typical fries. Nothing very memorable about them — hell they didn’t even have any seasoning or salt. The service was good — our waiter, Ben, was very attentive to our needs, however, he did tend to hover and come off a bit fake. But overall, as nice guy just doing his job and making the experience one I would repeat.
