The Quartz Hill Post Office advertises that they«do all postal services for the same price as the federally owned post offices» The lie being in the word«all». The Quartz Hill Post Office is a contract Post Office and offers substantially fewer services than a federally owned post office does. It is particularly unfriendly towards e-commerce. Boxed up all your sales at home? Weighed the packages and printed out the postage? Think you are going to just drop them off and be on your merry way? NOPE! No matter how many people are in line you must stand there and wait your turn. There is no mail slot equipped to handle packages, no dropping off of packages at the counter, no collection bin in the lobby. But wait! It gets even better! As a smart seller you are going to want to wait in line anyways to get an acceptance scan. NOPE! This«Post Office» will not do that for you. They have the technology and they have scanned items with their handheld for me in the past, but they no longer offer this service which leaves the seller with no proof that the package was actually mailed. But wait! There’s more! Let us suppose you sell an item and want to ship it to insert country internationally via Priority Mail Express International. You purchase the postage online and take your package in to get your guaranteed delivery date(a big part of what you paid for) NOPE! They will accept the package here but you can forget all about getting that guaranteed delivery date(let alone having it scanned). I could go on, but you get the point. The only thing that differentiates this place from the mailbox rental/shipping centers you see in every strip mall all across the country is that they sell postage at face value. Beyond that this really isn’t a Post Office.

I have to say that the people who work here are unbelievably rude. I’ve never encountered this kind of poor customer service at any other post office, even actually busy ones. Do yourself a favor and drive into town and wait in line. You will thank me later.

Worst post office EVER… Slow as hell. I would’ve been better off driving a little further to another one. And they didn’t have the forms I need

Love having this small town vibe place where I am treated like a neighbor and always taken care of. I way prefer going here to driving to the main post office. They go the extra mile for you!

Place is small but it’s good enough. Ladies are extremely nice. I shipped out a video game for $ 5.75.

Went to the post office today and had the rudest service. They tried to overcharge me on a single envelope which was outrageous. On the way out the«OLD» lady and her«PARTNER» were still making comments because I refused to send my letter. I will never go to this place again and if it closed down it would be no harm to no one. Would never recommend this place to anyone,

This post office is very small, and there’s not much to do there except to drop the mail off directly to the person behind the counter. They don’t have any boxes, envelopes or shipping/packaging items for you to buy/use if you don’t have any. There’s always sort of a line because of it being so small, and bigger packages take a little longer for them to put through i guess. They’re very nice there though. It’d be cool if they had some envelopes or bubblewrap there. They also don’t wear a USPS uniform, which is lucky for them i guess. It’s nice to not have to drive all the way to the lancaster post office if you’re dropping things off and you’re in quartz hill. Not the best post office, but i wouldn’t want it to shut down haha

The woman that helped me today was ridiculously nice. I, along, with everyone that was in the short line was greeted warmly. She also patiently explained different options of mailing a package to the individual in front of me without sounding like she was mentally stabbing her in the face. Seriously, it was like this lady had a bowl of sunshine and hugs for breakfast. She was so nice! She also sealed up my package since I had my hands full with a squirmy baby. I love that I didn’t feel like a number at this post office. They provide notary services as well. There’s easy curbside parking off to the side that’s 20 minute limit so you’re usually guaranteed a close spot.

Are these people kidding??? I have NEVER had a problem in this office! Most of the time there is NOLINE and those girls in there are always as nice and helpful as can be! They always help me save money by recommending the right size boxes or envelopes. My goodness! Everyone has a «bad day», maybe that was when these people came in! I would recommend THIS Post Office to everybody!

Rude service, manager is horrible to deal with, serious attitude in her. Place runs out of supplies often as well. Just not managed well. Too bad as it is a nice convenient place to go in Quartz Hill. I go someplace else now for my postal services. I am sure I am not alone with this feeling and bet sales are down there because of themselves.
