Manhattan Bagel

Normally I avoid chain bagel shops and stopping here just reinforced why. Let me start by saying I waited in line to order for about 20 minutes. I finally got to place my order where I asked for a plain bagel with peanut butter not toasted, a chocolate chip bagel and their specialty bagel sandwich of mushrooms. Asparagus and swiss. The give me my order which was in a small bag, so I decided to check it out and sure enough the whole order wasn’t there. I tell the guy and apparently he put my specality bagel sandwich on the chocolate chip bagel. Why would I ask for a healthyish sandwich to be put on a chocolate chip bagel? Anyway, he gave me the chocolate chip bagel as well as a plan for free for the mess up. I get to the car and pass out the orders, sure enough they messed up another order. The plain bagel with peanut butter was instead a plain bagel with butter, how disappointing. I will avoid this location by all means necessary and stick to the local shops around me instead.

New owner has made great changes to this location. Service is great. Food is always good.

their bagels are amazing! but I wish they had creamers for the coffee and not just milk

So how come all other Manhattan bagel stores in the area give you 4 pieces of pork roll on your breakfast sandwich, but this one only gives you 2. What a rip off! Definitely will not be coming back here.

I don’t know why I keep coming back to this Manhattan bagel. Not a single customer in line and I still had to wait five minutes because 3 employees had their back to me. The grill guy finally said something to one and she turns around and rolls her eyes and looked like she was in so much pain to take my order. The only reason they get two stars is because they at least get my order right, but the customer service and wait times are terrible.

Ive been here a few times with my sister and yesterday I was not happy. We stopped in for a brunch but I had my sisters go in and place the order while I waited outside with my dog. I asked for spicy brown mustard on my pastrami sandwich but when I got the thing, it was drenched in mustard. It was so bad it was barely edible. We were in a hurry so I did not complain but I’d like to know which one of the young men working behind the counter thought eating a mustard sandwich was funny. There was so much mustard that one of the chopped pickles fell off onto my shirt — it was covered in mustard. It was gross.
Next time I am sticking to the breakfast sandwiches. They don’t seem to mess those up.

I will never go to this manhattan bagel again. Service is so slow and the staff not friendly. The biggest reason is because it is dirty. Inside the drink coolers there is dirt on the bottle racks, stuff is splattered on the walls, the floor is disgusting and last of all I saw a worker put a tray of bagels on the floor while he answered the phone. After, he dumped the dirty bagels right into the bagel case. Enough said.
