These guys are the BEST!!! Amazing coffee, organic foods, some gluten-free selections, really fantastic, healthy food. And did I say the coffee’s the best? I’ve eaten here many, many times, and just dropped by again. The owner saw us peering through the window to the roastery and offered us a tour. She told us amazing history and what it takes to make good coffee. They have an all cast iron roaster that is from Germany, I think she said. She said they believe that to be the best. She said they actually go down for the coffee harvest and check the beans themselves and work with the people there to make sure to get the best coffee. They roast on demand, rather than ahead of time in huge batches, to get fresh, best quality coffee. I also love the fact this place is out in the woods and if you go there they’ll remember you. If you haven’t been there, they’re likely to introduce you to the entire staff, if they’re not too busy. I’m really glad I’ve found this place. I’ve brought many, many friends here and will continue to share this gem.

This is a wonderful spot to have lunch and enjoy some fine coffee or tea, and I recommend it highly. However, calling it «out of the way» or «off the beaten path» doesn’t really describe the situation. It is WAY off the beaten path and not signed or marked or indicated at all. You need to know where it is, go with a local, or be very handy with your GPS. But, it is worth the effort. On my last visit I was still in a breakfast mood so I ordered the raspberry pancakes on a whim. Wow — over-the-top good! Nice people, lovely spot, great food — do yourself a favor and track it down.

Fabulous coffee, delicious food and supremely friendly staff! Love the décor, the location and the patrons. Also, one of the best canteens I have ever purchased was from the muck. Highly recommend going in early, getting a cup, and trying the veggie hash!

Of all the coffee houses I’ve wondered in and out of in the US this is by far one of the coolest to date! Hidden on a speed bump lined rural back street on Whidbey Island in Washington State is the Mukilteo Coffee Company. This place is half café and half Coffee Roaster, but completely awesome! Mukilteo is a fairly large coffee roaster roasting Espresso for Monorail in downtown Seattle as well as every origin of coffee you can imagine, and they are amazing at what they do. On our visit we had everything from a Shot of Espresso to a Mocha to a plain old cup of coffee… Everything was perfect! Coffee doesn’t get much better than this, and roasting doesn’t get better than this either. Mukilteo also offers a full menu of really great, and well sourced foods. On our visit we had the Chorizo Burrito, and this thing was giant. Packed with flavor, and great ingredients to boot. Some others in our party had a few other items that they also raved about. The atmosphere at this quaint little island coffee house can’t be beat. They have both indoor, and outdoor Patio seating(with heaters above each table for colder weather). All the walls are painted with cool murals, and lined with unique signs. Very cool touch to add to the surroundings. Overall this is an amazing little coffee house that should not be missed if anywhere near Whidbey Island in Washington State. If you ask they may also even give you a free tour of the roasters next door so you can see how all this great coffee gets roasted, and learn some interesting facts. One little fact about Mukilteo is they also roast under another name known as Pacific Coffee Company which is the second largest supplier of Coffee in China. Pretty Cool! By far one of Americas coolest Coffee houses and Roasters! Enjoy!

This quaint place is such a hidden gem. The staff is so genuine and friendly. Everything was made to order, organic, and delicious! I had the El Guapo Huevos Rancheros and it was so fresh and just the right amount of spice. I would go alone for the coffee, I had a mocha with homemade whip cream. It was rich and I drank every last drop. Yum If I lived on the island I would go there at least 2 – 3 times a week.
