I absolutely love the Lavender Bergamot Therapeutic Bath Salts! They work wonders for relaxation and help aching muscles. I have severe fibromyalgia and it helps take the edge off during any time of the day,. David Tiller, one of the owners, is extremely knowledgeable of the products and ALL products are 100% organic. And when Whidbey Island Soap Company(now known as Whidbey Island Naturals) says it’s 100% organic, they are telling the truth. David will tell you in detail how they are made, no testing on animals, everything natural, etc. You’ll enjoy the experience AND feel good environmentally about using their products!

I first used these soaps, lotions and shampoo six years ago while staying in a hotel on Whidbey Island. I bought shampoo and lotions to take home and continued to order them. The last time I ordered they had gone up on their prices a lot and changed the packaging. Also the shampoo is horrible now and does not have suds. Very dissappointed and won’t be ordering agin.

Firstly, I really did like their products. But the service is not good. I placed an online order on 2÷18÷14. I only live maybe 2 hours from this location. On 3÷2÷14 my order still hadn’t shipped. I emailed them to check the status. They said the order would ship on 3÷3÷14 and apologized for the delay as they were moving locations. This was understandable to me. But I was bummed, because I ordered shampoo and was running out of the kind I had on hand. So, 3÷13÷14 rolls around and still nothing. I emailed them, no response. I received my order on 3÷15÷14. They lied about sending it on 3÷3÷14. Tracking proved that. It took nearly a month to receive my order. The kicker: They put a bottle of glitter in my package. It got all over everything!!! I was glitter bombed. Why? I only sent them 2 extremely polite emails. I sent them an email asking if they wanted their glitter back. They said it was a gift for the late order. A gift of opened glitter?(They don’t even make glitter) Why not extra soap or a refund of my shipping? Or at least a note saying what this glitter was intended to be. Totally bizarre. I will never shop with them again. It’s too bad. I liked their stuff and used to tell everyone about it. Now I only have a glitter bomb story.

Whidbey Island Soap Company Head to Toe Salve is better than most prescription topical ointments for many skin conditions. I speak from experience…

We visited this shop with a friend who is quite sensitive to strong fragrances and she absolutely loved the soaps. The intensity of the scent in the soaps is delicate; people who believe fragrances should be applied with a pressure washer won’t like these products. It’s a nice little shop, service is friendly and there are plenty of samples presented to try. The lavender goat’s milk soaps are especially nice and most everything in the shop is hand-made, locally.

I don’t quite understand the current remarks. I have been there a few times with friends and most of the Soaps have little to no scent! Guessing the other comments could be from close friends? I was there last Friday afternoon since the person I was with wanted to discuss the lack of smells in the various products she had bought with the owner, who acts very friendly. It is also a very cute store. The owner suggested she call ahead and they would make her a stronger smelling soap. A very nice gesture. During that time I was Looking at some some tea to possibly purchase. As I was looking around It became clear I had waited too long and needed to use the restroom. I politely asked the owner if I could please use her restroom. I am almost 60 and have medical issues. Much to my surprise the owner told me they have a working restroom, but not for public use? My friend and I were customers, both with merchandise in our hands. I was told to go across the street to the pizza place, since they didn’t care who used their restrooms. Strange comment I thought. After being refused a second time after stating I didn’t think I could make it, I left the tea and moved as fast as possible to the Pizza place. When I got there I was greeted with a smile and immediately«led» to a nice restroom, even though I stated I wasn’t going to eat there. Summary: 1) I WILLNOTDOBUSINESSWITH A PLACETHATWILLNOTLETCUSTOMERSUSETHEIRWORKINGRESTROOMWHENITISURGENT(I almost wet my pants). 2). Having to special order soap so it has a nice smell is a joke, it should be on the shelf. 3) The soap is probably good for you, but there are many other places to get specialty soaps which also let you use the restroom. 4). I highly recommend the Pizza place across the street, friendly people, good service, excellent food and a nice clean restroom you can use so you can be at ease(we ended up eating there again anyway since the food is so good.) Bottom line, I don’t recommend the Soap store for people that are looking for decent smelling soap, people of age or anyone who has that«I gotta go now» issue. Sorry Ms. Owner. Maybe you will read this and have more compassion next time a customer asks to use your restroom. Last time you will see me or any of the people that come to visit me in the future.

Best-smelling soaps I have ever used. I bought 3 soaps here and was very sad when they were gone. I think they also sell their products at the«Made In Washington» stores at the mall though, so I’ll check there since I don’t get to W. Island often. Such a cute shop too, and the woman working there is very friendly and knowledgeable. I think she said her son makes the soaps and other wonderfully-scented products, which is really cool. :) A great place to go to treat yourself to some wonderful products, and to get a perfect gift for someone.

My husband and I came back to the shop yesterday to stock up on more soap and to try David’s new lip balm Cinnamon Orange. It’s a winner! Please check out their shop and buy one of their long-lasting luscious soaps, lotions, lip balms and tell them Audrey sent you!

A lovely little shop with a fresh, clean scent. Naturally! It’s a soap shop! The bars of soap that they make are not overpoweringly smelly. Each fragrance is subtle… which a lot of chemically-based soap shops ought to take note of, yet distinct. They also have tea, stored in airtight tins behind the register. Everything from a variety of black teas to mate, plus little tins to keep your tea fresh at home. What a nifty idea and great for one stop shopping. Pick up some nice soaps or bath bombs and add in a tin of tea, plus one of the lovely, fluffy robes or towels… instant spa at home!
